"I use it on a construction site clipped on to my tool belt so it’s pretty much perfect"
"I am now solely using a Instago 3S right now due to the just compact size and weight. ... I am mostly shooting FPV sports for small segements and I don't even realize I'm wearing it on my hat."
"I settled for the Insta360 Go3s which allows me to record discreetly while leaving my hands free. ... Now I just place the tiny 4k camera on my cap and record my POV in my travels."

"I used the 10 to make a running video yesterday and I can’t believe how much better the stabilization is."
"better stabilization & colors ... the colors are so nice"
"The most important thing if you're filming video is image stabilization, which gopro is best of class at for non-professionals. ... There's nothing worse than shaky cam footage underwater and it's really good at producing smooth footage even for beginners."

"The raw footage you get from the DJI, however, is far better than that of a GoPro, especially underwater (and you suck at colour grading) and in darker environments."
"Dji has 1 inch sensor. Superior to other two - that’s why the quality is always better even in low light"
"The image and video quality is superb."

"It does NOT handle the Florida heat at all. ... Constant shutdowns while driving and parked have rendered it absolutely useless. ... Viofo's solution? Kick it down to 1080 / 2k and hope works. It did not. ... The camera is seriously flawed."
"I had 2 DJI osmosis Actions (little cube things) and they would record about 5 min and shut off from overheating."
"Until it's too hot and shuts itself off."

"claim up to 200 minutes lol but that is in 1080p quality and you need to save some of the battery for the vision dock so it is probably 170 minutes at most. ... their battery life benchmark on that is also horrible. it is 1080p quality with no WiFi and both screens off. how the hell am i supposed to see what i am recording? lmao."
"it will 100-0% it's battery in like 5 minutes of cold filming ... go in a bag fully charged and come out a while later dead"
"it always needed charging"

"the video files don't seem to interact well with Premiere Pro (not sure about other video editors). ... There are work arounds, but GoPro footage works way more smoothly with Premiere Pro. ... There are work arounds, but it does make the process a little longer. ... I usually watch my vids after a dive day, name any video files of interest, then convert the named video files."

"I had an original DJI osmo action, flooded in less than 2m of water."
I was hoping to finally see dive footage of the new 6. Im still using Osmo 1. Looks amazing. Very high detail. I like it better than the trendy 360s. I'm thinking about getting it
I really enjoy using my DJI Osmo Action 0, I probably use I for around 5% of my rides/ any big trails or DH runs I'm doing. I like to watch back over my runs every now and again. My Osmo action 0 has been brilliant.
Just buy a DJI Osmo Action and live a happy life.
If one camera is all you want or can afford than the insta360 X3.. Buy it used.. Way cheaper and had better low light than x4 I myself have helmet cams, x4 and Dji action 1 but I'm paranoid and can afford them. But for a newb low on money, the X3 is the best
My GoPro let me down every single time I tried to film in cold weather. Every. Single. Time. It would lock up or it would shutdown. This happened on multiple outings, different batteries, different memory cards, and so on. I was in the Rockies doing a video and also had a DJI Action 1 that a friend had let me borrow. The GoPro died about 45 minutes into the trip - would not stay running in the cold. The DJI Action 1 ran the whole trip, no issues, always powered up, always worked. I gave up on GoPro at that point and went all DJI (Action 4 and a Pocket 3).
I still use two of the first model DJI Action. Still good enough for most situations and what is most important: rock solid reliability: when I press the red button, it records until the battery is empty. Not a single occurrence where it went wrong. When connected to a power bank, it records all day, even on hot days. Think of buying the Action 6 because of the low-light performance.
Kung second hand, don't go lower than a Hero 7 Black for GoPro. Huwag yung Silver versions, stick to Black. Exception sa rule neto ay yung Hero 5 Session dahil sa form factor. Osmo Action 1 is good contender din. Not as wide as the GoPro pero goods yung stabilization. Brand new, stick to GoPro, DJI, and Intsa360. Serviceable naman yung quality ng mga SJCam at Akaso pero hahanapin mo pa din yung linaw at wide fov.
I second the dji i still have original one and still works fine. I also really like my insta 360 x3. I would look at something different for a dash cam as they have come a fair way for bikes. And can now stay on the bike permanently with front and rear cameras. I have taken my 360 on quad bike things in Bali and while there was a little bit of wobble, it was more the dodgy way I mounted it to the bike, with pole and cheap grip thing, that got yeeted about half way in.
4-5 years ago I did research on an action camera. Bunch of reviews stated GoPro had over heating issues. This past year I looked at reviews again and people were still complaining of the SAME issues GoPro had vs DJI. Bought a DJI OSMI action 1 and now have an action 5. They're great action cameras and the market is full of a competition. So there is just way more cameras to choose from vs long ago when GoPro was king and one of the only choices you had for an action cam.
i bought a cheap dji osmo action 1, ebay, £85, really good quality. got an audio adapter and a microphone for it for about £10
Hi I have both, Go Ultra is a fantastic little camera that shoots the same quality as A5P. But it does overheat easily shooting a continuous video for a long period ie a soccer game, the trick is to stick it on a metal pole to distribute the heat, but sometimes it's frustrating. Pros and cons: Go Ultra: + Size + Versiyility! + Low key + Out of the box accessories are all you need (I got the creator bundle) + Night time quality in pure video mode is outstanding + Split body design = perfect frame every take + Get the white color! - Overheating easily in PVM DJI A5P + Feels rugged and durable + Webcam mode! + Livestream! + No overheating issue + 10bit DLog for uniformed color editing + Costs less + Longer battery life + Amazing video quality + Pair natively to DJI mics supports two mics + Universal battery and many accessories in case you need an upgrade in the future - heavier than Go Ultra - body mount looks too obvious
