"Literally couldn't think of any pair of IEMs + dongle dacs could sound as analytical as the C3P+ for around $70. ... detail is just sooo much better. The C3P+ is just leagues ahead the I5 in terms of detail and resolution. ... the C3P+ is actually the closest sounding one to really expensive iems or headphone that I have."
"delivers the full package here. ... betting the house regarding this on this pair was fully worth it. ... It matches up (I would not say surpasses) a lot of wired in-ear monitors within this price bracket and slightly above. ... The prowess it shows in keeping the instrument separation clean is something that I really, really appreciate myself for buying this pair, not to mention the rumbly yet controlled, precise lows keep on coming and the highs soar without spice, without hurting your ears."
"Nothing short of a home run, here- the Ear once again brings me all; the way the bass hits on this track is very impactful but not bloated, punchy but not overpowering, and Kendrick’s powerful vocals shine through bright, while I enjoyed the way the Sax keeps on coming in at the right junctions of the song, and the way the cymbals play out on this track is probably one of the best I have heard through amongst all the gear that I have owned and currently own- the first in a wireless, and one of the few if I consider all. ... the timbre sounds natural and uncoloured"

"The insta360 acepro is king of the night dives. Especially if your gonna do any UV light shots or do the Turks and Caicos glow worms."
"Update 2: PureVideo mode 8K is the way to go for indoor medium to low light. Definitely low sharpness for every lighting level for me going forward."
"it absolutely destroys GoPro in low light. ... If you plan to record at night, Ace Pro/Ace Pro 2 is the way."

"For me, the ability to handle different lighting and the flip screen is key. ... Playing matches at odd hours or when there is sudden cloud cover, the Go Pros aren’t great. ... It handles different lighting MUCH better."
"Sobrang helpful din ng flip screen para sa mas accurate framing ng selfie photo/video."
"It does! Has a flip screen too."

"GoPro enduro batteries were dying quite fast when it was cold outside (snowboarding at -15 C/ 5F). ... Maybe that’s because of their age, but I didn’t use it that much. ... And 1 of 2 batteries is already swollen."
"I have 3 batteries for my 8 and they’ve been crap since I got them when it is cold. ... Have to store the stupid camera in a pocket on the ski lift, etc, and it still sucks."
"Gops 8 and two batteries that die within minutes in cold weather."

"omg photos taken on this camera are legit awful! ... specially indoors and at night, grainy ... even in linear mode its distorted ... corners of photo are blurry"
"The Ace Pro 2 still photos aren’t even close to the quality of a modern smartphone like your iPhone 15."
"I know because of its small size that the 360 Go is not offering you anywhere near the image quality you could get from a Pocket 3. ... If you're a sucker for image quality, a 360 camera ain't it."

"if you end up damaging the 360, there’s almost no way of getting it repaired."
"my CS experience with Insta360 was so abysmal that they’ll never get another dime from me. ... Took over 2 months this summer to get a damaged lens repaired. ... Had to send it away twice because when I got it back the first time they hadn’t even fixed anything despite charging me."
"dont reply to emails ... now im stuck with zero transport to work and walking 7 miles a day to work cant afford to buy another"
Your choices are basically the ace pro 2 vs action 4/5/6. Go pro is worse in basically every element compared to DJI&insta360. Get the ace pro 2 if you want the “best” quality (as in sharpness, color & detail) but it’s subjective bc some ppl prefer the colors of the action pro and vice versa. Also the quality is basically the same between the 2 cameras but if you nit pick every detail, the ace pro is maybe 5% better (I can’t really tell tbh). Ace pro also has flip able back panel so if you want to blog, you can see yourself better. Action pro has a small screen on the camera side but harder to see. The ace pro is also bigger and heavier than the action pro. And the batteries & battery charger cost more. Battery is also weaker/ doesn’t last as long be the action. Action pro has much better battery & auto integration with DJI mic. Low light recording (night time) is about the same when I see it. Colors are subjective, I think I like the ace pro more than the DJI but if you compare videos from both cameras without telling me which camera recorded which video, I wouldn’t know which is which lol Default mic on the action pro is much better than the ace pro, but get a DJI mic 2/3 and that solves that problem At the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter which one you get. I personally got the action pro 5 with the easier mic compatibility & longer battery life & lighter camera. I was also annoyed 360 was charging $60 for the battery case
We have been testing an insta360 Ace pro 2 for about a month in different lighting and dive conditions. I have to say that we are very impressed with the quality that allows us to go beyond what the GOPro range of cameras have allowed us in post production. We also have an assortment of phone dive cases from Sealife sport diver, Ocenic +, and Divevolk. They are great also, but the Ace Pro 2 has far exceeded the quality any of our phones have been able to provide. We have used IPhones 15 Pro Max, Samsung S24 and S25 Ultra, in the different cases with different software.
Sealife cameras seem to give pretty good results for the price so this is certainly something too look at. Not sure how well it will work as an action cam tho. I have a buddy that is using his smartphone with a decent housing which also works nicely. If you have a smartphone with a decent camera, even better. Lastly, if you want an action cam, I saw some good results and better battery life with the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 then the Go Pros. Go Pro is out after about 1 hour of filming. Good luck, and have fun diving ;)
Yeah, the Ace Pro 2 had that as well. But it came off the mount and smashed on a rock as it fell, going straight through the protective glass and damaging the lens itself.
I just returned my Ace Pro 2 yesterday. We will see.
I had the Ace Pro 2 and returned it. Capture button was uncomfortably hard to press and I wasn’t thrilled with the picture quality either. Love the photo quality from my Pocket 3 and DJI drone, so would think their action cam would be likewise good.
You’re on the gopro subreddit. Of course anyone saying anything other than gopro are getting downvoted. Go ask that question on a diving sub and the asnwer will be Insta360 and DJI. Personally i had issues at night with weird reflections on the edges of my Ace Pro 2, but a friend that was with me had no isues with his DJI action 5.
Buy the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 + Xplorer Grip Kit. That grip kit turns it into a camera type body and it takes ultimate photos and videos! And fits on any action camera stick.
The Ace Pro 2 doesn't support 10-bit LOG so if you plan on doing any sort of "advanced" color grading it will be a lot more difficult. I liked everything about it but not having LOG capability steered me away.
And they have a way better low light mode and other goodies.
Open youtube on your desktop pc, the one with a 32" display, and search for reviews comparing Ace Pro 2 and Hero 13.
I’ve been using the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 and love it. Here are a couple examples from my recent trip to Roatan: [The Odyssey wreck dive](https://www.instagram.com/reel/DMA-nnnxxuZ/?igsh=MTByaXV5YTB5cXc1aQ==) and here’s a mantis shrimp [filmed at 120 fps](https://www.instagram.com/reel/DL87tRQM350/?igsh=Mndmamk0YnVqY3Y0) and a [good lowlight example](https://www.instagram.com/reel/DL3LcGNx1NA/?igsh=NHpzMmg2cXR5ajVy)
