"The build quality is amazing, thing is a tank (99% sure it could stop a bullet). ... I have it for 5-6 years now, pretty much bought it right after release and its still every bit as good as it was out of the box. ... And I use it day and night, summer and winter, water or ice, be it +30C or -30C whatever."
"Been using them for about four years working out in my gym, and cycling daily (45+ minutes on a bicycle outdoors)."
"They last absolutely forever (I know 1980s models still in daily use)"

"chicken is gross on that one I learned."
"The Breville air fry mode is its worst mode. ... It doesn’t air fry at all. ... Makes veggies soggy and doesn’t work like a real air fryer."

"not worth it for the sheer size of the Foodi. It's a beast and very heavy. ... Yeah this is the same reason I don't really use my Foodi."
"I need the space on top of my induction for the extractor fan for the steamer as I steam eggs every day - so the ninja is now in a cupboard."

"stuff dripped from it so clean up was always terrible ... Just a real pain to deal with"

I gave up on air fryers after consistently getting stinky ones with burning plastic smell that never improved. Finally got the breville toaster with air fryer functionality. It s slower than an air fryer, but a lot more versatile. I use it instead of oven in summer. Also a lot faster to heat up even in winter.
It is a smaller oven that takes up bench space ... but it's so much easier to throw something in, set program, timer, and temperature, and just wait for the BEEEEP that tells you that dinner's ready. It's small, so more energy efficient. My "avoid anything cooking-adjacent apart from the washing up" husband will happily use it for simple stuff. And also, it's easier to clean. The whole base of mine just slides out and goes in the dishwasher. I only really use my main oven if I'm cooking for more than just two now. I have one of these - [https://www.sageappliances.com/en-gb/product/bov860](https://www.sageappliances.com/en-gb/product/bov860) \- and I love it so, so much.
i have a 2 year old model of the non-pro and I’m not sure it will. a whole digiorno fits inside for scale in terms of diameter if that helps but I’m not sure about height. maybe if you move the rack to the lowest setting?
Breville 800 series oven/air fryer has a wide, shallow SS basket for cooking things with space to circulate.
The Breville air fryer toaster is also great. I can’t imagine buying something with the name Ninja on it.
We have a breville air fryer that looks like a big toaster oven with computerized controls. I didn’t think it was a good purchase, but I was wrong. It does a lot and it included a variety of pans. The pizza pan is 12&3/4” diameter. Our model is BOV860 DBLUSC. Hope this helps. The microwave I could live without. We use it to boil water for coffee. Popcorn is way better on the stove top, and that’s a hill I will die on
I owned a sailboat for a number of years, and replaced the small propane oven that was on board with a Breville air fryer/toaster oven. It was great. I think it worked just as good as any regular oven on the market.
So we got a Breville for our wedding in 2014, and last year we replaced it with a new Breville that has an air fryer feature, which basically just means there's a strong convection fan in there. It actually doesn't work *that* well as an air fryer since you can't put anything in the basket that will drip, so when I use it, it's basically just the regular tray covered in foil with a rack on top to let the air circulate a bit. But I do like the oven, and between me and my wife, we probably use it every day, sometimes multiple times. A few months ago, I used the oven at something like 140°F with the fan on; I put the tray in sideways so the door wouldn't close, and I used the oven as a dehydrator to make this fancy Chinese banquet dish that took, like, 2 days to prepare. It was very successful! At dehydrating, I mean. The dish itself was... not that good. I guess I'm not a Chinese banquet chef. Anyway, if you're just using it to toast bread and to warm stuff up, you don't need the fancy features of the Breville Pro. I don't know anything about the production, since I bought mine last year before all this BS. It's also fairly uneven at toasting; the part near the door toasts less than the part in the back. I'd say get a cheap one unless you need those features. But my last Breville lasted 10 years and was still working fine when we replaced it, so if you're worried about longevity, you might as well get that one.
Breville. Seven years on first, four years in on this one. We brutalize ours.
Breville, costly but it works so well. Replaced a cuisinart x2. Big but worth it. Can cook two layers at the same time.
