"The fan that circulates the air is so ridiculous it sounds like an airplane is idling inside my house, and it literally changes the air pressure in my kitchen and hurts my ears"
"The button sounds are so effing loud."
"hate having to decode it each time to use it ... So many settings I need to reprogram ... My wife and I when setting it up always hit the off button and cancel all the setting we just set it to."

"Ours smoked terribly since day one. ... Sets of the smoke alarm."
yes! I feel the air fryer is a lot more "safe" than dealing with a "toaster" ........that literally only has 1 purpose...."to toast" lol.......my air fryer can bake, toast, make popcorn (the screened bottom flips upside down and the 🌽 lays on the solid metal "baking pan"? I think is what my Gourmia calls it. we love ours. I've even dehydrated various meats overnight in it too. so many "appliances" in 1
r/Parenting • Is an air fryer worth it? ->we use our "french door" gourmia wayyy more than our huge oven that runs 220v? I wanna say it is....and heats up the whole house. Our air fryer we keep out on our porch so it doesn't heat up the house crazy during the heat wave. we love it. Just gotta realize, an air fryer is merely a convection oven. an oven with a fan in the back/side LOL. These "induction ovens" used to be popular in the 70s and 80s dad was saying........they were just stupid heavy cause of the heavy fan in the back of the oven to circulate the oven heat. now the ovens fit on the counter top lol. we love ours, we've ditched our countertop toaster too....and it sits in the old spot of our old 4 slice toaster.
r/Parenting • Is an air fryer worth it? ->I like the Gourmia front opening oven style with the racks. But that's just me. I don't care for the pot style as you can't see what you are cooking, it doesn't have good airflow, and it's harder to clean. Again, that's based on what I cook and how I like things done. Ninja is overpriced, and most units all use the same fan/heating element components. I do have a second air fryer that is a pot style I use outside when doing fish so the house doesn't stink up. I think I paid $20 for it new, but I see them at yard sales all the time for $5. They are the entry level ones with the dial on the front.
r/airfryer • Why do you guys prefer dual air fyers? ->Gourmia french door model. I cooked a 5ish lb whole bone in turkey breast, no problem
r/airfryer • Is there a big single basket for a dual air fryer? ->Gourmia french door model, I have no complaints, been using it almost daily for close to a year
r/airfryer • Im sure this gets asked about a lot but theres so many mixed reviews across the board. What is the best AF out right now that doesnt have a list if problems? Please dont roast me too hard for asking. ->I cooked a whole, bone in turkey breast, around 5.5lbs. Came out amazing, and in no time
r/airfryer • Im sure this gets asked about a lot but theres so many mixed reviews across the board. What is the best AF out right now that doesnt have a list if problems? Please dont roast me too hard for asking. ->I have the Gourmia French Door toaster oven air fryer. It does everything. You can bake, roast, broil, air fry, dehydrate, toast, I use all of it! Last I saw it was on sale for $50 at Walmart (I got mine for $99). It's awesome! Definitely worth what I paid for it!
r/airfryer • Is there an air fryer (or alternate) that can BAKE? ->I'm on my second one in 7 years . Can cook more food at one time than most fryers. It's very easy to clean. Its temperature goes up to 400* which is ok for most things.
r/Costco • Has anyone tried the Gourmia air fryer oven? ->I bought one when it was on sale for $40 because I had a terrible little 1.5qt capacity one. It's been amazing for everything I've needed it for, mostly frozen foods and a few fresh items here and there.
r/Costco • Has anyone tried the Gourmia air fryer oven? ->I bought one after checking out the toaster oven style at Costco. It’s great, pretty basic, but easy to clean and use. I’m amazed at how quickly it can roast potatoes anything i put in it. I found mine for $40 and I’m very happy with it
r/Costco • Has anyone tried the Gourmia air fryer oven? ->It’s great. Can put two things in at once one different levels.
r/Costco • Has anyone tried the Gourmia air fryer oven? ->Got one have literally saved thousands on takeout over the years. It’s like a microwave that’s really an oven - perfect for reheating leftovers and frozen food. I don’t do much actual cooking in it though.
r/Costco • Has anyone tried the Gourmia air fryer oven? ->Been using it for over a year. We love it! It replaced the French door style air fryer and it does a great job. We use the Reynolds’ parchment paper to help with clean up. Bought it during holiday sales $39.99. Wish I had bought two for future replacement.
