Ninja - EzView AirFryer Max XL AF171C

I had an Instant air fryer (not sure which model but not the #1 from ATK. A smaller one with no window) and it only lasted a little over a year before it stopped heating up. I bought a Ninja single basket with window and am really happy with it so far. Not sure how I ever lived without a window before lol. Honestly my favourite thing about it is the nonstick coating on the plate. It's ceramic rather than teflon (unlike the Instant) so it doesn't get scratched off through use or cleaning. A nice little detail which, to me, highlights the quality of the appliance and the attention given to it by the designers.

Wife and I started with the Gourmia from Costco, but needed a bigger one and got the ninja with the clear window and light inside. We like the ninja more for sure. Seems to cook better and we (with multiple kids) prefer the bigger model.

 Ninja Air Fryer Max XL is my go-to for crispy, even cooking. It’s super easy to use with intuitive buttons and a nonstick basket that’s a breeze to clean. Perfect size for 2-4 people, but if you’re cooking for a crowd, it might feel a bit small. It’s a solid performer, especially for things like chicken wings and fries.

This is my current go-to, and it’s been amazing. I have been using Ninja air fryer MAX XL for few months. It’s super easy to use, heats up fast, and consistently makes the crispiest wings and fries I’ve ever had. The ceramic nonstick basket is a breeze to clean (dishwasher-safe too), and it’s perfect for 2-4 people. The “Max Crisp” setting is a game-changer if you want that extra crunch.

I have a Ninja that's got Super-Crisp (450F) technology.

I shake in this one too. It's a little on the smaller side so I only do about 8 wings at a time. I usually flip about half way through and do some shaking towards the end.

I have the Ninja XL and love it, however, you might want to consider just buying one you like with an extended warranty. Normally I avoid those like the plague but they make sense for something like this. Get a 4 year warranty on a $150 AF, knowing with high usage you will cash in.

I have a Cosori toaster oven style air fryer (some of my kids are all bougie and have Breville and the other a Ninja). All are terrific because they can all make a frozen pizza to perfection. Yes, longer pre-heat compared to a basket...by maybe a minute. My kid with the Ninja XL can make a full dinner with sides all at once for her and her husband, so that versatility is off the charts. I find with the mesh basket tray on my Cosori that I don't have to flip foods and they're much easier to space out to allow the circulation that is the science behind why an air fryer works.

I have the toaster oven style. Got the Ninja Flip one, loved it! Then I got the Ninja XL, love it even more! The Flip takes a bigger tray, but the XL takes two smaller trays. Flip would be great for a single person, the XL is great for my partner and I. I can't imagine trying to cook in one of those tiny basket type. They were never an option for me.
