"Oh and it is the most perfectly amazing travel item. Flying is incredibly easy, it fits on the scanner at security and goes right back into being a stroller, then it can be a car seat on the plane, then the car seat in the car at your destination, then a stroller everywhere you go! It’s just great."

"It’s such a game changer and makes every errand so much easier with an infant, especially if you are a new mom. ... Was an absolute game changer for us."

"I am a C-section mama and without the doona I could not have been able to do stuff."

"Now all I use is my air fryer, microwave for frozen veggies and rice cooker. ... I like everything to be as simple as possible, so set it and forget it. Haven't used my stove top or oven since I got the ninja in 2022."

"I think we have the ninja foodie 10 in 1 oven thing and we've only used our real oven like twice since we got it and that was entirely because the pizza was too big. ... There's something great about being like "yes, cook my burrito at 400 for 29 minutes and then shut off" that makes it so useful. Well setup food and not worry at all about it being done because it always is. ... But really being able to setup the oven and just let the timer handle it is the bees knees."

"probably use it for 80% of our meals ... it is great"

"and I absolutely love being able to cook two different things and match their cook time."

"There's even a thermometer and a setting system to get the internal temp to a preferred temp. "Is that chicken juicy or raw? Turns out it's juicy since internal temp hit 180.""

"I use it a ton for roasting peppers along with daily for everything else."

"I had a Big Agnes for a decade. ... It sprung a leak on a trip this time last year. ... I found the leak on a seam and called to ask about repairing it. ... They asked for a pic, which I sent as well as a pic of the valve cut off (per their instructions) and my new pad arrived in a few days. No charge. ... I’ll never buy a pad from a different manufacturer again."

"I have the 4-qt Ninja air fryer and love it. ... Bought it on FB marketplace several years ago and use it several times a week. ... Never had any issues."

"I'm on my second one in 7 years"

"I really like that it folds away when not using it to save on counter space"

"it might not cool things evenly, since the fan is on the sidez and not the top."

"The one single con is just because a roast or bird CAN fit doesn't mean it SHOULD fit. ... If the fan is running and fatty meat is too close to the element you can get smoke from the fat. ... So only a small family roast, no holiday roasts or turkeys."

We have the Ninja dt201 and we LOVE IT. We've been using it and not taking proper care of it since it first came out. Some of the writing came off the buttons but it's obvious what they do after you press them lol. It's not that easy to clean. And if you aren't careful you can get food in the buttons. But it's awesome. We keep one of the included trays on the bottom shelf to catch drips which helps keep it cleaner

I have a Ninja too. I think its DT201. Got a great price like 3 years ago when it was on sale at Kohls and they used to accept coupons for named brands I think they only come with one basket. I did buy a second one but its not OEM and I had to bend the handle a bit to make it work. Did you buy a second one from Ninja ? I've always wanted to try a dedicated air fryer though

Having used both (i transitioned from a basket style to an oven style), the optimal use case varies wildly. My current air fryer in an oven style Ninja 10-in-1 XL Pro. Pros for basket style: Quick meals that need little prep. More accessories you can buy (e.g. silicone mats). Good for 2-3 people at max per usage. Takes less time to preheat due to smaller volume. generates less heat. Smaller table footprint vs oven-style. From my personal knowledge, basket styles cook a little hotter than what's actually programmed. Downsides for basket style: Harder to clean - more nooks and crannies to reach. Also material is usually a very thin metal coated in nonstick surface. Uses less electricity per meal vs an oven type BUT cooks in smaller portions. Cannot cook larger things like whole chicken. Pros for oven style: Trays/racks are much easier to clean. Can cook larger things like a very small turkey. Uses more electricity per operation due to bigger volume, but this can be a blessing if you utilize this to food prep for the rest of the week. It also features a ton of other features compared to a standalone basket air fryer. Easily cooks for a family of 4-5. Amazing for friends gatherings and small parties. Downsides for oven-style: Huge footprint on the table. You can use it to cook a one-person meal but feels like a waste. Takes slightly longer to pre-heat.

I actually find oven style easier to clean if cooking it with the tray/pan, since it's a smooth surface with raised edges.

I have a Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 XL Pro Air Fryer. Anyone can chime in if this is relatively low on forever chemicals? It’s an oven style air fryer, glass cover, and stainless steel (insert rows are also stainless steel). The only nonstick part is the removable baking trays which can be replaced by aluminum baking trays (eg Nordic ware). https://www.ninjakitchen.ca/products/ninja-foodi-10-in-1-xl-pro-air-fry-oven-zidDT201C

I agree I have two high end version of each type Dreo Chefmaker for my basket air fry needs (and combi fry) it may not have the space but the power is there. Wont get better chicken from a different one. Ninja DT250 series toaster oven style for my larger items. It 100% doesnt work the same as the basket BUT it does some things SO much better. Each has its use and cooks exclusively different things.

r/BreaditDoes anyone use a toaster oven/air fryer for baking bread?

https://www.ninjakitchen.com/products/ninja-prestige-smart-xl-air-fryer-countertop-oven-zidDT501 This is the one I use. I bake sandwiches loaves in tin, banana breads, bagels, focaccia, pizzas, dinner rolls, cookies, and etc. I use this as my main baking oven. However you might have to decrease the temp by 25f or play around with times and temperatures with some recipes since it’s a convection oven. It only goes up to 450F too but that’s not problematic for my uses. It’s quite spacious but I’m not sure if it’s spacious enough for the Dutch oven you have. Maybe two sandwich loaf tins on top of each other might fit; but I haven’t tried that.

r/BuyItForLifeThe Best Toaster Oven???? Does it exist, do you care???

I have the Ninja Foodi XL Pro and it’s been great. I honestly think a lot of the “air fryer” marketing is nonsense. They are tiny convection ovens and they do a great job as a tiny convection oven. But they aren’t this special mysterious separate thing. I use my Ninja Foodi exactly like I used my last convection toaster oven and they are pretty much indistinguishable. They do a fantastic job!

I have a Ninja Foodi Smart XL Pro Air Oven in my full sized kitchen. I love this damn thing! I've often that if I lived someplace without an oven, I'd be just fine.

I’m the opposite I’d argue you would be disappointed with the basket type. I have a Ninja Foodie XL Pro and it’s my most used appliance hands down.

I have the ninja foodie and it’s a 10 in 1. Bake, air fry and toast and pressure cook are the main functions I use. I just started to use the dehydrator, kinda neat
