"It's MUCH easier to clean non stick surfaces (1 minute after each use). ... Takes me 1 minute to clean my Cosori with a nylon brush and Dawn."

"Clean up is a snap all it takes is a little bit of your dish detergent I use Dawn and three tablespoons of baking soda made into a small little paste you cover the inside you cover the. Inside in the rack with it you wait 15 minutes rinse it well with warm water paper towel dry it and it's done."

"both baskets go in the dishwasher, which makes cleanup way easier"

"The dual baskets let me cook two things at once (like chicken wings in one and fries in the other) with different settings, and they finish at the same time thanks to the “Smart Finish” tech."

"a "smart finish" setting so they finish together"

"We have had air fryers in the past we never ended up using because of ease of use issues or cleaning was a pain. This one gets used multiple times a day every single day."

"probably use it for 80% of our meals ... it is great"

"I bought a Ninja Foodi on sale for $189 and it lasted 4 years until the lights wouldn't come on in it anymore. ... It still fried and toasted at least 2 times a day everyday though."

"Baskets are small ... the quantity for those two things is small"

"Baskets are small"

"Ninja's removable plate design would always result in a soggy underside if I overfilled due to the air being unable to circulate."

"My biggest complaint is that it takes forever when using both zones. ... It brags that you don’t have to batch cook, but at least with batch cooking I’d have something hot on the table while the second half cooks."

"as soon as we put both baskets to use it was sooooo slow to cook. ... Basically double the cooking time. ... when switching to two it takes absolutely ages."

"When I first got it I was excited to throw like frozen fries in one side and nuggets in the other, but then when I used my Normal settings neither was even close to done. I don’t use both at the same time ever anymore. ... Tried later adding time and found it really cumbersome to get right. It just doesn’t get nearly as hot when splitting between both baskets ... If you tell it to have 375 in one side and 350 in the other they’ll actually be about 335 and 310. It can’t output enough heat. ... Maybe mine is defective (and was out of the box) but it absolutely does not reach the desired temperature if I use both."

"And it leaks. Consistently. It sometimes even manages to flood things."

"it seems to be failing on me entirely after only two years of ownership."

"at least half of its fails are because it gets stuck trying to get on its own docking station (which is in an easy to reach and clear spot) to charge. ... I've sat there and watched it back up, go back forward, miss, back up, spin around, miss again. It literally does this until it either manages to get itself stuck on the dock, or just runs its power down."

"after 2 years needs replacement parts (grill, pan, and basket). The cost to replace these parts is nearly equal to buying a new unit."

They probably haven't been around long enough to really prove the test of time. However I have had the Ninja DZ401 for 3 years and we have used it almost daily. Edit: rephrased after having my coffee

I’ve been using this beast Ninja Foodi 6-in-1 XL 2- Basket fryer for a year, and it’s perfect for families or meal preppers. The dual baskets let me cook two things at once (like chicken wings in one and fries in the other) with different settings, and they finish at the same time thanks to the “Smart Finish” tech. It’s fast, easy to clean, and the 10-quart capacity is a lifesaver when hosting friends. Highly recommend if you need versatility and volume.

I have the ninja double basket from Costco. Having the two baskets and being able to cook two different things at once is nice. I don’t use it as often, but it is a nice convenience for when you want something quick

You should get the 400 if you ever cook for more than two or three people. They both have the same programs, etc. Ninja makes great air fryers! You won’t regret it I promise.

I have the ninja af400 dual basket and I love it was looking at this one to replace the big one but I did stay with my af400. Ppl are talking good about this one on the pic.

r/airfryerWhen buying your first fryer, should you just focus on quart size and prince range?

Ninja Foodi Dualzone XL is a beast if you’re cooking for a family or want to make two different things at once. The dual baskets are super handy, and the Smart Finish feature ensures both finish cooking at the same time. Cleanup is easy since the baskets are dishwasher-safe. Perfect for batch cooking or entertaining.

I don't honestly think they have been around long enough to prove the equivalent longevity of a kitchenaid/magimix. I can say I've had mine for 2 1/2 years with daily use and its still going strong (ninja af400)

You'll find that you'll use it a lot and having one with dual fryers is well worth the small extra cost. I'm in a similar family situation. It's not that we use both drawers at the same time all the time, but one is often in the wash, or dirty and waiting to be washed, or we're using one to cook the meal and the other to heat nans, or something like that. Ours has 100% changed the way we cook. We only turn the oven on once every month I'd say. That's usually for a large roast, even smaller roasts get done in the air fryer. It's not on your list, but we have **Ninja** Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer AF400UK and I think it's the best kitchen gadget we've ever bought.

We just got a new air fryer, Ninja foodi AF400uk dual zone 9.6L. We were gifted the smaller 7.6L AF300uk about 6 years ago, which was brilliant, but we wanted something a bit bigger. I got it from the Ninja website when it was on offer a month or so ago and you can get an extra 10% off your first order if you sign up to them. Paid about £165 for it. We use it almost every day for a family of 4.
