"It's MUCH easier to clean non stick surfaces (1 minute after each use). ... Takes me 1 minute to clean my Cosori with a nylon brush and Dawn."
"Clean up is a snap all it takes is a little bit of your dish detergent I use Dawn and three tablespoons of baking soda made into a small little paste you cover the inside you cover the. Inside in the rack with it you wait 15 minutes rinse it well with warm water paper towel dry it and it's done."

"Now all I use is my air fryer, microwave for frozen veggies and rice cooker. ... I like everything to be as simple as possible, so set it and forget it. Haven't used my stove top or oven since I got the ninja in 2022."
"I think we have the ninja foodie 10 in 1 oven thing and we've only used our real oven like twice since we got it and that was entirely because the pizza was too big. ... There's something great about being like "yes, cook my burrito at 400 for 29 minutes and then shut off" that makes it so useful. Well setup food and not worry at all about it being done because it always is. ... But really being able to setup the oven and just let the timer handle it is the bees knees."
"probably use it for 80% of our meals ... it is great"

"and I absolutely love being able to cook two different things and match their cook time."
"There's even a thermometer and a setting system to get the internal temp to a preferred temp. "Is that chicken juicy or raw? Turns out it's juicy since internal temp hit 180.""
"I use it a ton for roasting peppers along with daily for everything else."

"mine folds up to the wall so it takes up a lot less counter space when not in use"
"folds up against the wall."

"not worth it for the sheer size of the Foodi. It's a beast and very heavy. ... Yeah this is the same reason I don't really use my Foodi."
"Was bulk and weight that chased me away from self inflators years ago. ... I find the selfinflating foam so comfortable, more so than than air mats, but it's 790 grams, very bulky and just 3.8r. Can't justify it."
"that thing is so bulky and sits in the cabinet below the counter, I want to keep keep one on the counter…."

"I like making the boneless skinless thighs in the marinade that includes Greek yogurt, but I find the yogurt is the worst with getting burned and stuck."
"el todo el recubrimiento interior metálico, presenta corrosión ... volvió a presentar el mismo daño ... materiales que están utilizando en el equipo, que evidentemente son de de pésima calidad ... las condiciones del equipo puedan dañar mi salud y la de mi familia"

"Box says it's dishwasher safe. I put it in the dishwasher twice and it started to rust."
"The fan on mine got clogged with grease after a month or two, and it is essentially impossible to clean."
"The only reason why I dont like it is as it gets dirty, you can see the grease on the little window and it is very hard to clean it off."
Not quite the same, but I have switched from a Ninja AG651 to an AF451. One downside is definitely that I can't fit a large casserolle in ther anymore, but that's the only downside as well. The drawer-style is way quieter. Allows me to make crispy stuff alongside veggies which before just didn't crisp up properly. It does not require preheating. I have less space width-wise, but way more space to the top which makes bigger pieces of meat possible (for example one whole chicken, which before only worked spatchcocked). If I only have use one drawer the power-consumption is obviously less. Cleaning is way easier. Also the thermal probe is way better than my previous one.
I have not done a whole chicken yet in the AF451, only chicken legs so far, but testing with that the temperature probe was definitely more accurate than the one from the AG651. The spatchcocked chicken in the AG651 took about 40 minutes I think at 180°C, but I am actually not entirely sure. That's the neat thing with the thermal probe, as you just have to set the temperature and use the preset for chicken and it will just turn itself off once it's done. Spatchcocked normally is a bit faster, so a whole chicken in the AF451 will probably take a bit longer.
I have the ninja xl grill and it cooks wings perfectly.
We have a Ninja Foodi Grill XL which is also an air fryer. It gets used all the time, and we clean if after every use. I like that it has multiple functions in addition to air fryer.
I have the Ninja XL Grill. The larger basket and grill functions make it useful for meals for 2-4 people. In the USA most people don't have convection ovens, and an air fryer is a small convection oven. It heats up fast, and doesn't heat up the house like a full size oven. The grill pan makes it a good indoor grilling option. Steak, sausage, chicken, fish, does a good job on all of them. There are many foods which are especially good in the air fryer, and faster than other methods. Frozen convenience foods like tater tots, chicken nuggets, shrimp, fish sticks, any frozen appetizers, etc. All get crispy and cook faster than a regular oven. Roast vegetables. It's one of its best features. Reheat pizza and fried foods. Grilled cheese sandwiches. Pretty much hands off and quick. The small ones will be too small for more than two people. They do take up space. But they are a great convenience tool for what they do well.
I've seen the dual zone ones recommended before. Personally, it either cuts the usable area down so you can't do large things, or it makes the air fryer too big. Our air fryer recently died and needed to be replaced. We don't have as many of the name brand options where I live but ninja is available. Picked up the foodi grill because it looked convenient to use and it is head and shoulders above the old drawer basket style we had. It preheats faster, seems to circulate the air a bit better so things are crispier and it's so much easier to load things in and take things out. The grill plate works pretty well too. I'm not a huge ninja fan, but this air fryer makes me willing to at least consider the ninja brand for other things. There aren't too many occasions that we would need two different things cooked in the air fryer. Either it is being used for the protein, in which case the sides are getting cooked on the stove, or I'm using it for a side in which case the main is cooked on the stove. Or I'm reheating some leftovers and nothing else is getting cooked.

The grill plate works pretty well too. I'm not a huge ninja fan, but this air fryer makes me willing to at least consider the ninja brand for other things. It's been about 4 months now and every time I use it I still think about how I'm glad the old one died because this one is so much better. As a side note, it does an awesome job with leftover pizza, just toss some cold slices in there and run the preheat and about a minute after preheat is done and it's even better than when it was fresh pizza!
I make air fryer sliders all football season long. Wings are also fire. I have the Ninja Indoor Grill/Air Fryer that also works as a dehydrator. It's bigger than a standard air fryer but I actually do use all the functions.
Ninja (in the US at least, I've heard mixed things about UK) should be safe - we have birds and this is a requirement. Double check what you're buying, and ask the manufacturer to be sure. We have the Foodi Grill/Air Fryer, and a Ninja toaster oven. Gourmia was also safe when we got that years ago, not sure if that's still the case.
I've had a ninja foodi grill one for years and it's still good. I will keep it for many more years, possibly decades. Got it on eBay for much less than retail and it shipped from the manufacturer, somehow. I think $150? Well worth it. I use wax paper liners in it to make cleanup easier, also worth it.
I have a ninja foodie grill with an aircrisp feature and there is definitely a preheat function. Maybe it's just a ninja thing.
Thank you. I don't know anyone else who has a ninja but is it only me that's aggravated when I have to clean it after grilling? All my marinade gets stuck. I see everyone using parchment paper on Instagram but I don't think we can use that in the ninja. Ugh
I've been soaking it with the dawn powerwash spray because I am lazy but I am worried it's going to ruin the coating. I wish we could use the paper but there's no way. Our ninja machines are so different than the other air fryers. I like making the boneless skinless thighs in the marinade that includes Greek yogurt, but I find the yogurt is the worst with getting burned and stuck.
Love our ninja appliances. We have the foodi indoor grill/airfryer machine and it is great for convenience and minimal cleanup. It is used frequently throughout the week. It can grill, roast, bake, air fry and even dehydrate food. We also have the outdoor woodfire grill/smoker which is just as nice. It's easier to make smoked food than my cabinet smoker and is better in adverse weather conditions.
