"Clean up is a snap all it takes is a little bit of your dish detergent I use Dawn and three tablespoons of baking soda made into a small little paste you cover the inside you cover the. Inside in the rack with it you wait 15 minutes rinse it well with warm water paper towel dry it and it's done."

"One of the things that I probably cook the most are chicken thighs (bone in skin on). ... When I cook pork, I do pork loin and sometimes brine it first. ... I love doing steak bites in mine. ... One of the things I find the basket style perfect for is “baking sheet meals“. ... But I also do veggies, potatoes, desserts."

"Cooks my tilapia fish, my veggies, Chicken thighs, etc. ... my experience has been amazing."

"I also use my air fryer for desserts. Using it as an oven. Mine has a “bake“ feature. I mix up a batch of cookie dough, I have a small 4 1/2 inch cast-iron cookie skillet. I bake one cookie at a time which allows me portion control. It is a large cookie. I have also used my air fryer to make fruit, crisp, bread, pudding, pumpkin, custard, all in individual ramekins."

"Made me realise that often I have decided against buying bakeable food due to feeling wasteful- felt like a waste of energy to warm up and bake stuff in the oven, especially that mine can be very temperamental. Now I have a timer and stuff comes out great, no longer feeling bad about bills when I want to cook for one."

"using 4000w in half af hour.. Very good for all "small" things!"

"The fan that circulates the air is so ridiculous it sounds like an airplane is idling inside my house, and it literally changes the air pressure in my kitchen and hurts my ears"

"The biggest issue is the noise it makes, I move a lot from side to back and vice versa during the night. The noise sounds like balloons rubbing against each other. I've tried wrapping it in a blanket, which helps a bit but still makes a lot of noice."

Yup I bought the Phillips 5000 Series XXL… 7.2L. Cooks my tilapia fish, my veggies, Chicken thighs, etc. First time airfryer user so my experience has been amazing.

Ja imam Philips 5000 Serija (HD9285/90) i prezadovoljni smo.

My wife bought [this giant Phillips model from here](https://www.powerbuy.co.th/th/product/PHILIPS-Air-Fryer-Digital-2000W-7-2L-Black-HD9285and90-296165?queryID=b65c825c8c72f8a253e49f7f850feda3#). I thought it would be a big useless gadget that just gathers dust in the kitchen - but turns out we all use it all the time, second only to the microwave. I'm not a big fan of the buttons on this model, but otherwise it cooks whatever you put in it (in copious amounts) and is pretty simple to deal with, so I can't really complain. As far as real-world advice after owning one: Firstly, consider physical size. Get one that is large enough to cook whatever you plan on cooking. Especially consider the "floor space", not just the volume. Second, get as powerful as you can afford in the size you need. That's pretty much it. I think it is just personal brand-preference from there. I really don't think there's that much difference between the well-known brands. I would stay away from gadgetry if possible and just get the most powerful "normal" model that fits in your budget. I honestly use it like the microwave, just toss stuff in and press go for x minutes. I don't even recall what the other buttons do. Also, it will still smell when you cook stuff, just not as bad as actual frying.

r/airfryerWhy do you guys prefer dual air fyers?

For two people I think it's not necessary to have a dual one but I was also considering it but it was way too big. I have a philips airfryer, 7.2l and I'm glad I didn't take the smaller 4.2l one. I cook for two so I'd get 6l minimum but it depends how you want to use it and how much you guys eat.

I bought recently a Philips Airfryer Series 5000 XXL. It's very fast to heat (no pre-warming), connected so I can start and stop it from home or even from outside. It cooks pretty well, it's quite big and you can easily cook for 4 people, but I find it a bit noisy and it smells more than my normal oven! Cleaning is very easy, but I do it on the same day. So let's see in a few weeks how it will go.

Uzeo na akciji Philips XXL 5000 seriju, ima 7L komoru. Čak uz malo naguravanja stane i smrznuta pizza u nju.

I currently have two, both drawer types, they've upped my kitchen game quite a bit, and helped me cut down my use of the deep fryer. I have a really crappy oven, and having an airfryer helps immensely with this. It helps save on cooking time and electricity. I've done whole stuffed chickens in the bigger one (Philips XXL, got it on special, so far it's been good), cooks well and quicker than an oven, larger ones (up to 2kg) get a bit close to the element and needs turning over during cooking and a foil sheet sometimes. Smaller birds are much easier to work with. I bought a smaller cheap (ALDI) one for the car/camping. Other than size factor, there's nothing it can't really do compared to the other one, though the Philips heats up quicker. It's been nice throwing a couple of frozen pies and some chips in on the road, and they are done in around 23 minutes. It's been handy having two when entertaining or for special occasions. They've been great for roasting vegetables, they cook much faster than the oven. Roast potatoes are done in about half an hour, provided I chop them up a bit smaller than usual and give them a couple of shakes during cooking. (Low sodium) Silverside roasts really well in it, I just chuck a rub on it and let it rip with a temperature probe in it. Gets it nice and barky, and perfect for making ruebens. Briskets, not so well, but that might just be a skill issue on my part. Brocolini/Brocoli done in soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, MSG and oil turns out god tier. Done in 6-8 minutes depending on thickness. I make really quick garlic bread in it, ~2mm butter/margarine layer on a couple of nice thick slices of homemade bread, crush a garlic clove or two and spread it in, a sprinkling of salt, sandwich together, slice in quarters, throw it in for 5-6 minutes it's done. Tasty. I also find tofu gets a better texture airfried first when making stirfrys. As for helping stay on budget, I guess it depends how you use it. Less energy wasted is a big plus. It's definitely an appliance worth having in my book, but an instant pot and/or slowcooker would be first on my list if I didn't already have one. Airfryer's are good for quick lazy straight-from-the-freezer meals where I really can't be bothered. Plus I don't think there is any better way on Earth to reheat pizza or leftover chips. 5 minutes, done! I'm not a big fan of the combo-ovens with built in AirFryers.. I've had two, including an overpriced Breville combowave 3-in-1, they were both complete garbage. I used to have an original Tefal with the stirring arm, it was good and I used it to death, but tended to overcook and mush things up a bit if I wasn't careful. The modern drawer types are the winners in my book.

r/airfryerCan i put a whole frozen pizza in this thing?

But is that for a 6” pizza or a 12” pizza? I have an XXL Philips airfryer, and only a personal pizza will fit without cutting the pizza to fit. My Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro has become my 12” pizza oven.

Very pleased with Philips XXL. Use it about 10 times more than the big oven (that is used for more than 1-2 people or lots of oven dishes) - the pizza insert is perfect and makes great pizzas in under 8 minutes! The oven will do it in 20-22 with 10 minutes warm-up, do a worse job (more dry than crisp) and using 4000w in half af hour.. Very good for all "small" things!

r/airfryerIs there a difference in food quality between cooking in a large air fryer (around 11 liters) versus a smaller one (about 5 liters)? For example, in terms of crispiness, cooking speed, or overall results?”

I have the Breville Joule air fryer and it’s great and big enough to handle whatever I want to air fry or roast for that matter. But the air fryer that I used to have is a Phillips and it was just for air frying and I loved that it was an XXL. It was absolutely the best.
