The best choice probably depends on the size of the space you’re trying to cover. For my downstairs rooms, I went with two BlueAir units (the 311 and 211 models). BlueAir offers a 25% discount for teachers, military, police, and possibly firefighters (can’t recall for sure), available in both the U.S. and Canada. They also offer a 15% discount on filter replacements if you sign up for a 6-, 9-, or 12-month subscription. For my upstairs office/bedroom—since it’s a smaller space—I went with the Coway Airmega 1512HH and have been happy with it.

We have a Blue Air 311+ in the bedroom and another BlueAir Classic in the master bedroom with an air quality monitor built in. You can notice a huge difference in our home, as we can create a clean room when needed during forest fires. We didn’t have these when the worst one came through Oregon. We love them and our allergies are so much better. We change the HEPA filters every 6 months or sooner. Our favorite is the air quality monitor to be sure everything is getting filtered properly.

I never knew air purifiers could be so good. I always thought it was a scam until I used one and noticed the difference. I have one in my living room and when we fry onions or something similar it goes off right away. Never knew they had an app.

r/TwinCities • Air Purifiers Worth it? ->BeWell makes good products. Blue Air is the best I’ve found. Very pricey but they work very well. I have 3 Pro models and they can bring my inside, large pool villa, AQI to 20 when 150+ outside. I use an Amway unit in the bedroom. It works very well but the replacement filters are super expensive. I would not recommend this one. Be very cautious about the availability of replacement filters here in Thailand.
