"I have terrible allergies and use Blue Air on every level. Works amazing."
"It's amazing the difference it makes. ... Also the filters are a wildly different color when I replace them."
"Blueair has been awesome for our basement, dogs, cats, sometimes chickens and always a burning fire for the wood stove and you would honestly have no idea all of that was going on. ... I wfh in the basement sometimes and I could tell that without that I was feeling gunky. Buying it made a huge difference!"

"Super noticeable difference ... even just the fabric pre-filters catch a lot and their appearance varies from room to room (ex. dust in the bedroom, cooking oils in the kitchen) which leads me to believe they’re working!"
"I have a Blue Air and it works great. It definitely cut down on the dust in our bedroom."
"the filters bring the house to below 1ppm within an hour or so."

"Blue air is the best of the three, also isn’t HEPA but has a static generator which bothers some people."
"Although you'll find complaints it doesn't use a "real" HEPA filter"

"I don’t like they have an ionizer that you can’t disable. ... Ionizers create ozone, and when ozone reacts with different molecules it creates all kinds of new compounds that can’t be predicted."

I have two small coways (meh), Dyson (meh, but very good for heating!), Levoit 600S - very good and just got blueair signature - so far very happy.
Go to the Blueair website and look at all their air purifiers. Some are on sale for almost $100 less. Look at the new Blue Signature on sale. It has a washable fabric pre-filter, which is great for dusty rooms. I think Blueair purifiers are terrific, and never consider buying any other brands any longer.
BLUEAIR for the win. Saved me twice from getting covid (sick visitors). Just upgraded to the newer Signature version.
It’s honestly so good! I initially started with the 511, 5 years ago and recently just upgraded to the blue signature (during Black Friday) which is the prettiest out of the bunch! lol I’d absolutely get the 311 for our other rooms— gotta wait for another sale tho lol
Check out the Blueaire Signature. Looks like a small side table. You can place small items on it like the small holiday display I have on mine.
Seconding this. I have two Blueairs too. I have a 511i Max also for my bedroom and the new Signature for the living room. Works well and good stats in HA, which is all I really wanted.
I completely understand how you feel; I've had very similar issues and quite a few questions about air quality and breathing comfort. For me, what really helped was a combination of simple things rather than a single "cure." I use a Blueair Signature air purifier, mainly for fine particles (dust, smoke, candles, cooking fumes). I leave it in automatic mode during the day, and in the evening I switch it to night mode, so it continues to filter silently. I've noticed that it reacts quickly to spikes (for example, with a candle) and that the air becomes clean again quite fast. Before going to sleep, I also always ventilate for 5 to 10 minutes, even in winter. It refreshes the air, lowers the CO₂, and clearly improves breathing during the night. Another thing that helps me a lot, especially when the air is dry or irritating, is gentle nasal irrigation. I simply use isotonic Respimer. No need for a strong rinse: just one squirt in each nostril, head slightly tilted to the side, let it flow naturally, then blow your nose gently. The goal isn't to rinse the sinuses thoroughly, but just to clean and moisturize the mucous membrane, remove particles accumulated during the day, and soothe the nose before bed. Since I've been doing this regularly, I have fewer irritations, I breathe better at night, and I focus much less on numbers or sensors. The air purifier helps, but the surrounding habits really make a difference too. Hang in there, these are topics that can quickly become anxiety-inducing, but with simple and regular actions you can really improve your daily comfort.
I have a giant blue air and I love it. Before we didn't have one in a smaller space and I feel some days I was dying. The cost of the filters is kind of pricy though.
Blueair has a small one that would fit that space for $99 on Amzn or other retailers. I have next size up and so far so good and noticeable decrease in dust. I like being able to control it and monitor its cleaning via the app. Not advocating for the company other than after doing some research I settled on them and so far am happy.
I have a Blueair for small room and can really sense a difference. I like the app as well to track purity and change settings. So many options out there though.
I have tried and gotten rid of Bluair and levoit- just inadequate performance and louder than I like. I replaced them with Medify and have been very happy with the switch. If memory serves I have an ma-50 in the living room and ma-40 is each bedroom.
