"It’s is SO MUCH more quiet than the s7 it ramped up the suction power from 4000 to 19000 yet I can let it clean my office room while being in a call now."
"Extremely quiet compared to our last one to the point where we can have it running while my partner is in work meetings (besides emptying water and dust bin, but that is 10 seconds of loud x 2)."
"pads that lift on carpet so you can run it while the baby naps"

"I set up my Inovelli switches to be triggers to clean specific areas/rooms. For example, I can press one of the buttons 4 times and it sends the robot to clean that specific room. Game changer for the family."
"100% locally controlled"
"I have 5 Levoit smart purifiers around my home on Google Home ecosystem, and it works flawlessly."

"Literally couldn't think of any pair of IEMs + dongle dacs could sound as analytical as the C3P+ for around $70. ... detail is just sooo much better. The C3P+ is just leagues ahead the I5 in terms of detail and resolution. ... the C3P+ is actually the closest sounding one to really expensive iems or headphone that I have."
"Crazy good from the jump! ... When you factor in they're only $99 and go toe-to-toe with Bose QC Ultra at $299, this is the deal of the year!"
"Can't recommend them enough for the value, sound like $200 earphones."

"They do a good job of removing smoke from the room."
"The thing I noticed most and love about is that I no longer have the smell of my upstairs neighbor cooking wafting in."
"The sensors are amazing. ... Yes whenever I cook or smoke they instantly kick on and work really well."

"Mine is malfunctioning already, and I just got it too.... FML. HDMI works but Type C connection stops working."
"3 months of constant use and the screen blackout on me. ... others have similar complaints of durration so i'd say no ... was playing rivals then suddenly the monitor turned off. after unplugging it waiting a while i was able to power it but the display won't show nor light up but the sound is working. ... looking into this there have been numerous complaints about the longevity of the device. ... FUCK NO, GO OLED! just not this one"
"I wouldn't count on JBL for longevity personally. ... Stinks to have to replace that that soon tho 2 years is a joke. ... longevity in home theater systems isn't my first place I'd give them points."

"The Pro X for example is marketed at over 4,000 square feet but it's only one air change. That won't be enough to help with odors."
"My Levoit Core 200s is advertised on Amazon as providing coverage for a 1,000 square foot room. In reality, it *could change the air in a 1,000 square foot space but only once in an hour on it's highest speed. You want more air changes per hour. Going by 5 air changes an hour on it's highest fan speed, the Core 200s covers 200 square feet."
"The mini is much too small for a bedroom."

"It does not have a hepa filter. ... Amazon tricked me as well. There's a whole scandal about Levoit advertising as hepa when they are not"
"The coverage rating is misleading marketing my Levoit. The 1,718 sq. ft. is at 1 Air Change per Hour (ACH). You need a bare minimum of 4.8 - 5 ACH."
"I got upset when I found out my 4 levoit core 300 were not hepa lol."

"Mind you, the filters are astronomically expensive, and you will need to replace them way more frequently than what’s suggested."
"My new filter just arrived today and I noticed the weight of it was lighter than the previous replacement filter I was using. ... You can see right through where the charcoal beads are that it’s not even filled up all the way like before, so $99 for half the charcoal."
"It will clean air at first but it is cheap and the filter cost will add up over time. The lack of real pre-filters really kills these things."

"the medify one sounds horrible- it has a weird high pitch and i can’t stand it even on the very lowest setting. ... i actually sent it back and they replaced it and the second one sounds the same."
"We have 2 levoits and even on 1 I can hear it across the room with the TV on. ... They both have an ear-piercing high pitched sound that I can't stand."
"I have had two Levoit 200s and the issue with the high-pitched ball bearing after a few months is REAL."
\+1 for Levoit. Haven't had a single problem and we have 3 of them.

Did you make the “IKEA enclosure” or did it come with the printer? Some of them come with ventilation w/ filters. Despite my recent post about my makeshift printer purifier, FDM is (relatively) very safe. At least compared to resin printing. I print both PLA and PETG and haven’t had any issues. I don’t have an enclosure. The only material I’d avoid is ABS without proper ventilation. With your enclosure any airborne sediment is going to either collect on the inner walls or fall back down. It’s unlikely that any significant amount of VOCs will go beyond that. People here will most likely say, “that budget is too low for anything meaningful to protect against VOCs.” But, I’d say if you’re really worried about it and want something for peace of mind (knowing that it’s an imperfect solution) you can look at the Levoit core 200, Coway Airmega 100, or other SFF purifiers. Their CADR is pretty low and they have only a little bit of carbon, but it would at least be something. The reality is smaller / more economical purifiers are going to be limited with their performance. And that removing VOCs requires (large amounts) of carbon, you’re in a tight spot. However, unless you have existing medical conditions or are incredibly sensitive to air pollutants the risk factor is pretty low. I’d personally either: 1. just rely on the enclosure. 2. Create a makeshift vent with a PC fan + carbon sheet 3. Add a small purifier as close to the enclosure as possible.
I have a ~700 square foot 1 bedroom for me, my spouse, and our kid… just adopted two kittens and have 3 litter boxes (reluctantly) — one in bedroom, one in hallway, and one in living room. All stainless steel. If you don’t already have steel boxes then make the switch now! We also use the new Okocat Multi-cat Litter with plant-based odor block (dark green bag available on Chewy!). We have a Windmill purifier, Levoit 200S Core, and another Windmill purifier respectively in those areas. I’m allergic to dust mites and dander but also wanted to eliminate the pet smells in general. I swear on my family the smell has gone away running the units 24/7 and toggling between high/low/sleep/eco modes. Our kittens LOVE taking a dump in the bedroom litter box right as we decide to go to bed 😤🤣 and last night I reached over to put the Windmill unit on Boost mode. The scent discipated within a minute!
I have equivalent models in both. The Levoit gets louder and loses effectiveness after a while such that I'm not sure it's really even filtering anything anymore. My older Winix is functioning just fine.
Yes it is possible to develop a cat allergy later in life. There may also be a dose issue where he was fine visiting for a few hours but not living there. I dealt with this personally and this was the advice from my allergist. Make his bedroom a cat-free zone. Clean it thoroughly and keep the doors closed. Get an air-purifier for the bedroom. I use the Levoit core 200. Keep his sheets and towels away from the cats - preferably in his room. His laundry should be promptly brought back into his room once dried - no leaving a basket out on the couch. He can take allergy medicine. There are pills (I take generic Zyrtec) and nose sprays (I take generic Flonase) and eyedrops (I take generic Pataday). You can help to lower the cat dander burden in the rest of the apartment. Keep it clean, vacuumed and dusted. It is best if the allergic person does not do this chore. Consider draping a cat blanket over the couch and upholstered chairs and washing this blanket frequently. I use a large piece of fleece and it works great. It is like a magnet for cat hair and then I just wash it once a week. Your allergic roommate can just fold the blanket up and put it to one side when he sits on the couch. Grooming the cats frequently will also lessen the amount that they shed.
I have both of these. I like my Winix more than my Levoit for a few reasons. One is because of its flatter size compared to the cylinder, it just fits and looks better in rooms. I also believe the filters are cheaper and it's easier to find cheap generic replacements. Also the winix filters use less plastic than the levoit, which their round shape makes a bit weird and bulky. Lastly the air intake for the levoit is only at the bottom whereas the levoit is the entire length of the device. Only thing is make sure to shut off the plasmawave cleaning. It's an ionizer and, although they say otherwise, independent testing has found it creates ozone as a byproduct of ionization, even though they tout that its "bipolar" ionization. Ozone is an irritant to the lungs.
Second these. I have a couple 300 and some 200 in my kids rooms. I love them
We love this one: LEVOIT Air Purifiers for Home,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FJ678YK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I flashed esphome on my levoit core 200s and couldn’t be happier. I used this https://github.com/acvigue/esphome-levoit-air-purifier
We have and like this one. It works. When I have the bright idea to cook salmon on a piping hot cast iron I get a text from it in my kids room upstairs asking wtf I’m doing. Filters last a while and are pretty affordable
