"A good robovac is a life changer. Even a $350 basic S8. It is a great place to start. ... I promise you that you will not be disappointed by a basic S8. It will change your life even if it can't fit under every piece of furniture you own. ... My two S8s just finished vacuuming our entire house in about 46 minutes. ... While my floors were being cleaned, I sat comfortably on our patio in the cool shade with a slight breeze and composed my far too long response to you while sipping a diet soda and relaxing. ... I will have to spend about four minutes maintaining my two S8s. This will be my entire contribution to my home floor cleaning effort for today. Four minutes!"

"Like 500$ these robots are currently the steal of the century ... You can get a mova p10 pro ultra (cannot remove its mops), equivalent to the l40/x40 for 500$ after a discount code"

"I got the Q5 Pro for $139. ... costs $450 less than what I paid for the S6 ... it is the best value option out there imo."

"It’s is SO MUCH more quiet than the s7 it ramped up the suction power from 4000 to 19000 yet I can let it clean my office room while being in a call now."

"Extremely quiet compared to our last one to the point where we can have it running while my partner is in work meetings (besides emptying water and dust bin, but that is 10 seconds of loud x 2)."

"pads that lift on carpet so you can run it while the baby naps"

"I've used them for 1500 miles of multi-day hiking with no issues!"

"I forgot I had my fenix on and did a mud run. Didn’t even phase my watch. Literally dragged it through the mud and it just kept going."

"I've put them through the washer and dryer."

"They do a good job of removing smoke from the room."

"The thing I noticed most and love about is that I no longer have the smell of my upstairs neighbor cooking wafting in."

"The sensors are amazing. ... Yes whenever I cook or smoke they instantly kick on and work really well."

"Definitely helps my allergies imo!"

"Last year there were wildfires nearby and the airmega kicked itself into high gear (I keep it on auto), so I do really trust that it’s actually doing something."

"We’ve also had terrible Smokey days from the Canadian wildfires in my area and when I last replaced my filter, it was almost black so it was working hard!"

"their battery isn't lasting any longer than 1h at most"

"The usb doesn’t work anymore. ... It just makes a nonstop sound screeching sounds whenever a sound it played through them. ... That happened within the first month of having them."

"battery died just months after warranty expired."

"The Pro X for example is marketed at over 4,000 square feet but it's only one air change. That won't be enough to help with odors."

"My Levoit Core 200s is advertised on Amazon as providing coverage for a 1,000 square foot room. In reality, it *could change the air in a 1,000 square foot space but only once in an hour on it's highest speed. You want more air changes per hour. Going by 5 air changes an hour on it's highest fan speed, the Core 200s covers 200 square feet."

"The mini is much too small for a bedroom."

"Levoit Core 300 was decent on specs, but it hummed just enough to wake the youngest every other night."

"cant hear the damn thing unless its at max volume, which kills my battery in like 3.5hrs."

"The Bose is just better. It gets louder, stays clearer at high volume, produces more and clearer bass, and sounds more detailed and refined across the board."

"It does not have a hepa filter. ... Amazon tricked me as well. There's a whole scandal about Levoit advertising as hepa when they are not"

"The coverage rating is misleading marketing my Levoit. The 1,718 sq. ft. is at 1 Air Change per Hour (ACH). You need a bare minimum of 4.8 - 5 ACH."

"I got upset when I found out my 4 levoit core 300 were not hepa lol."

"I got the 300 Leviot and it smelled like plastic air coming out. Terrible."

"Levoit 300 were great until they changed the manufacturing of their filters and now they give off a strong odour."

I only just got mine but so far it’s been amazing. Hoping it lasts longer than 2-3 years but will see.

We have a couple of these and are very happy. The filters are costly but that seems to be the case with any of the brands I researched before choosing these. Levoit Core® 300S Smart Air Purifier

We use the Levoit Core® 300S Smart Air Purifiers. They come in different sizes depending on the size of your rooms.

There isn’t anything wrong with Levoit. Lots of people use them without any issue. I am one of those people. Great machine, really makes a difference to the air quality.

I have a couple of Levoit air purifiers, really happy with them. After purchasing one for the living room, I decided to buy another one for the bedroom. I have breathing problems and I dislike stuffy rooms. Have a little dig around, there is lots of great information on Levoit and other brands. Good luck!

I have recently purchased a Levoit core 300. Although I have only had it a few weeks, I can honestly say that it has really improved the air quality in my place. Yes it is circular and no, there isn’t any smell from it apart from the ‘new’ smell that you sometimes get from appliances. That being said, I have never had an air purifier before so nothing to compare it to. As I said, I have not had it very long, but I am so pleased with it that I am thinking of buying more. It is definitely a brand for you to consider.

I have recently purchased a Levoit core. Although it is early days, maybe a week or so, the air feels cleaner in the room it is in. I may in the future, purchase one more. I will be purchasing the same brand. No complaints so far.

I have recently purchased a Levoit Core 300. Although I have only been using it for a few weeks, I am impressed with the brand and its performance. No pets, but wanted one for air improvement. The room is a lot fresher when it is working. It really does help with cooking smells. All in all I am happy with it.

r/homeownersWhat are your best choices of home air purifiers? Have you actually notice any major difference?

I second a Levoit. I have 3 different models right now in my house. They’re decent price and they last for years if you replace the filters on schedule. And I run my a few hours a day, sometimes all day. I have the core 300S and the 300S-P with WiFi in my living room and primary bedroom. I have LV-H128 in my kitchen. I used to have the LV-PUR131S but it finally died after 5 years

Heya fthesemods, appreciate the shoutout. Levoit removing the HEPA certification from their products was a pretty disappointing development, and we're not gonna say that they're perfect products by any means (any models that claim to lock in VOCs with an activated charcoal filter should be taken with a MASSIVE grain of salt, since most household units don't contain nearly enough material to do that sort of thing). That being said, yeah, we found that most Levoit models provided similar filtration performance to models from other brands that did claim HEPA certification (like the Winix, which we still think is a pretty solid alternative to the Core 600S). We found them to be largely effective units overall, barring the Core 300S, which we found to provide a much lower clean air delivery rate than the basically identical Core 300 due to its less powerful motor.

Using levoit 300s for a month. Covers an area of 300-400 sq fr. Loving the tech. It takes some time to understand the clean air difference vs outside. Bought it for 349 AED during the sale. Now price has gone up. If not super urgent, wait for 12-15 days when the EID sale starts on noon/amazon. I have a levoit core 300s, I’m pretty sure it has wifi but I don’t use it, I just use the buttons on the screen. Why does everything have to be wifi with an app!?

We have two of the Levoit Core 300S, and in the last year, we had had both replaced under warranty. Both had their motors fail. They first started making a squealing noise, which got louder and louder. First failed within 30 days, second after six months. We choose these since 3rd party replacement filters were easily available, but as of now, when they both eventually die after warranty, I'll be looking at another brand.
