The uppa baby cruz is not convertible for two fyi. I also wanted the Triv but with the tariffs is got way to pricey, my compromise and have LOVED so far is my baby jogger city mini air. The fold is just a single pull fold is super small to fit easy in my trunk the canopy is better then the triv and all for a fraction of the price! My only con is that it can’t parent face but for the price and better canopy I was okay with losing that one feature. Plus its a brand Im familiar with (my sister has two a single thats 12 years old and a double thats 9 years old ) and they’re still in great shape and in use so we plan to have this one for just as long hopefully.
Crib: Delta Children. Not too expensive and really beautiful. Convertible to toddler bed and full sized. We’re buying the extra attachments and keeping them in storage. Changing table/dresser: Delta Children. Not overly expensive, with a removable changing top. My husband said the one we picked out took forever to put together but it’s really really nice. Car seat one: Evenflo 360 slim. Got it for an amazing price and we hopefully won’t need another car seat for years to come. This one is for 4lbs (rear facing) to 65lbs (once front facing). Works great in our SUV and our smaller SUV. Car seat two: Well probably get another Evenflo in a light color for my black car to help try to keep the seat cooler. But we’re trying to decide if we want to get a true infant seat for my car to go onto our stroller. If we get an infant seat it’ll be a graco one or the Baby Jogger City Go 2, since they both work with our stroller. Stroller: I didn’t want to spend $1,000+ on our stroller, but I wanted something with larger wheels, lighter color, something that would last from newborn to hopefully when the toddler no longer wants to use it, something that could be easily folded up by myself. I landed on the Baby Jogger City Mini Air lightweight stroller. This isn’t the “smallest” stroller but fits in my smaller suv hatch without any problems at all. It has a massive shade, great wheels, looks very nice, and has a good sized storage basket. I also was able to get it on an incredible sale. Baby monitor: The nanit! Our baby isn’t here just yet so I don’t have a full review of this, but we have it set up and we’re really excited for it. We love the idea of the breathing band. Swing: Graco Sooth My Way Swing with removable rocker. This was gifted to us off of our registry and we love it so much. It’s lightweight 22lbs for the entire thing, so I can move it around myself. The removable rocker is going to be so dang convenient. With so many options there will be a setting the baby likes.
We have an almost 4yo and an almost 1yo. We have the Chicco Bravo stroller that goes with the infant car seat. And then we have a City Mini lightweight stroller. Just recently got a Graco jogging stroller secondhand. And we also have a wagon.
I recommend having the stroller from an offsite supplier, not only because it's typically cheaper but also because you'll have it to help get tired kids from the transportation stop to your resort room I've used [Kingdom Strollers](https://www.kingdomstrollers.com/?ref=leamaxwell) and had very good experiences. You can set it up for pickup/dropoff at the airport.
I’ve noticed a lot of newer more expensive strollers lack functionality features. Such as not reclining and a bar but no snack tray. Stroller naps were so huge for me and my citi mini reclined fully to lay flat. I would suggest not buying s stroller that looks great but lacks practical features.
Citi mini. I actually purchased one after renting it at Disney
I like to use scooterbug or kingdom strollers and rent one. the citi mini was the easiest to fold up and it was nice not to have to try to fly with it. We don’t use one at home anymore but we use one at Disney because it’s so much walking, so this way we don’t buy something we won’t use.
Omg the citi mini folds so great. Even the double which we just used last week. We didnt even need a double lmao. But the baskets arent great so I wanted the second seat to dump stuff. The ease and compact of fold was worth it to us.
I have the double of the city tour and still put my three year old in it! But we also have the single of the city mini and while it’s not quite as compact, it’s more spacious and comfortable for him. Still reasonably light with a one-hand fold.
