I also purchased the Bumbleride Era and have a Graco Snugride car seat using the attachment. I have the infant insert as well. I’ve been using it for just over 2 months and I love it! It handles so well, baby is comfy and there is lots of room for him to grow. I do wish the basket was a little bit bigger, but it holds what I need. I was super picky when choosing a stroller, and I’m glad I went with this one.
We have the Bumbleride Era and Graco Snugride car seat. I did A LOT of research on which stroller we bought. The big things I wanted were: reversible parent/world facing seat, lay flat, air filled tires. I’ve been really happy with the combo. Baby is comfy in the stroller and we have had a lot of naps on the go. I’d recommend getting an infant seat. It’s really easy for taking them into stores or getting them buckled in the house. I have a smaller vehicle so my options were limited. I was between the Clek Ling and Graco Snugride. Baby has been happy sitting in it. I’m glad I went with the less expensive option since he is 8 months and almost at the height maximum.
Bumbleride Indie or Era are nice to push in any condition and even a bigger kid fits nicely. Full recline in both of these.
Second this. It’s a great stroller
We have a Bumbleride Era and it’s great. We don’t use it a lot, but great for walks and outings. I wouldn’t bother with the car seat adaports as they are hard to use and the stroller is already big and bulky. No way am I taking it into a store. I like to babywear, or use a doona/evenflow type car seat. I think I would get the Bumbleride jogging option. It’s easier to fold and I never use the parent facing option.
Bumblerides fit a bassinet onto all their strollers. We have an era and walk gravel and dirt trails daily and it’s a great stroller. My second used the bassinet until she was 6 months.
I only had a full size with my first, a bumbleride era, so it was massive but I love it so much. We don’t go to the mall often, and I baby wear at the store so it was never a big deal and it fit our outdoor lifestyle great. With my second, we are in and out of places a lot more with activities and weekend plans and I was finding the bumbleride too big for most of these places and getting in and out of a carrier multiple times on an outing was frustrating my baby, so we just invested in the minu v3 and I love it so much. But it would never hold up as our only stroller. I think depending on your lifestyle there is room for both. Both get used pretty much daily right now.
Just to throw a different option, we have a bumbleride era that’s great for both bumpy gravel or dirt trails (which we are on pretty much daily) and in city settings like the mall and stores. It’s big but smaller than the Bob and you can attach a bassinet or the seat lays flat for newborns as well. It also can accommodate a wide variety of car seats to make quick errands easier. The seat also fit my tall but slim son until 3. We did buy a travel stroller that we got rid of because we used the bumbleride most and didn’t want to store 2 strollers anymore. It’s been heavily used outdoors and indoors for 3ish years and is still in perfect condition, we will be using it for baby 2 again.
Yep, cork and no issues. Also in the Vancouver area and we are no stranger being out in the rain! It’s definitely darkened over the years but doesn’t look dirty at all, but I clean it like normal when needed and it’s still very much in tact. The only wear we’ve seen is the little bolts on the wheels have rusted over the years which we didn’t care about (you don’t even see them)! My husband plans to clean those up before this next baby arrives. Other than that it’s basically brand new. We purchased in 2019 for our 2020 baby and it’s been in storage now for about 2 years.
I also love love love my bumbleride era. We used it with our first 5 years ago and it’s still going strong with baby 2. If you want to splurge, the bassinet attachment is so useful if you spend a lot of time outside. Not a must since the seat lays flat, but I love the coziness of the bassinet. Our first was a winter baby and it can be all zipped up for warmth, but it’s been really comfy unzipped for our new summer baby.
I absolutely loved the Bumbleride Era I had with my first. You don’t need a bassinet attachment because the seat itself can lie flat and serve as the bassinet (I think there is an ever so slight incline, but it’s barely noticeable and it honestly made me feel better post feeds and while going downhill). It was such an amazing stroller, so smooth on all terrains (sidewalks of MA, some trails, etc.) I ended up having Irish twins and had to switch to double stroller and got the Bugaboo donkey with bassinet attachment and definitely miss my bumbleride constantly!!! We had a universal carseat adapter for the Era that could fit with our Clek car seat but honestly didn’t use it more than twice
A big second for this stroller. I've been pushing my son around in it through basically any course I want for 18+ months now. This thing has been worth every penny
I prioritized excellent wheels and suspension and got the Bumbleride Era ($700). I wanted real tires and it works GREAT on uneven terrain. Baby can sleep through anything. It doesn’t work with car seats though so I also have a basic snap and go car seat stroller that I keep in the trunk ($80). I had a hand me down car seat (from a trusted friend with no accidents) that didn’t work with any stroller systems so that made it easier for me
We have had this exact combo as well for over a year and both have been excellent. The Era is a bit of a pain to fold but we have probably put a few hundred kms on it between walks, disc golfing, and just being out and about on errands. My son has outgrown the Clek Liing but it was a dream to move him in and out of.
I have a Bumbleride Era and Uppababy Minu V3. I mostly use the Bumbleride because we take long walks frequently (baby naps in it even at 13 months), and I use the Minu for quick car errands.
Here is what is got - not a system per se but everything works together and compatible. I am pretty happy with everything! Bumbleride Era stroller (all terrain stroller, bassinet not required as it reclines fully). I have a previous model, 2022 I believe Clek Liing infant car seat Uppababy Minu V3 - travel stroller for travels, and it lives in the car trunk for quick errands. Two sets of adapters for each stroller to work with the Liing
I second Bumbleride Era for winter, and it was also so great for me this summer. It gets hot and humid in Southwestern Ontario but this stroller has a lot of airy openings, and seems to be overall roomy and gives a nice shade for baby.
