Well, I scored a bumbleride indie twin (2019 version) for $25 freaking dollars on Facebook marketplace. It was in 100% working condition, just needed a good scrub down and it looks and functions amazingly! I’m so excited for it to dry so I can use it lol

I got the Bumbleride indie twin with a bassinet attachment. I don’t really like the car seat snap ons because newborns shouldn’t spend that much time in a car seat, they say they need to get out every 30 mins or risk asphyxiation and I don’t want to have to worry about that. It’s a jogging stroller so pushed super easy on different terrain. It’s a side by side and folds super easy. Also a big selling point for me is the fabric is a wool blend. I am trying to move away from synthetic fabrics in my home.

I’m getting a Bumbleride indie twin. It’s side by side but you can move it to infant mode or add a bassinet. I like that is uses more natural fibers, a wool blend. It’s also a jogging stroller so good for bumpy roads.

Cybex Gazelle seats are sadly very small. If you want a tandem type of stroller, I would recommend Peg Perego Ypsi, specially with the newest seats its awesome. Its kinda like Gazelle, but with smarter fit with the two seats. The seats are overall bigger and you can adjust the seats hood upwards for a taller kid. Search for Destination Baby & Kids on YouTube, they have good videos about the Ypsi.  Imo the best side by side double stroller is Bumbleride Indie Twin. It runs super smoothly anywhere and has nice big seats for even a taller kid. Its big when folded though, so it doesnt fit to a small cars boot.

Seconding the Bumbleride Indie Twin! We have it and love it. We had the Clek car seats that were compatible with it. Our girls are now 2.5 years old and we're still using it all the time.

We went with the Bumbleride Indie Twin way back when and still can't recommend it enough. It rolls super easy folds up smaller than the Bob, and has tons of storage below. What sold it for me was that you could create a bassinet type space on one side for the infant while the other can stretch out without having to add anything on. We even brought it on our last trip in September and they are now 4 and 6. And they still fit.

I hear what you're saying. The back can get pretty close to vertical if you tighten the strap up all the way. If you could check one out in person probably be best, but even then I'd still say go for it. Being able to keep the infant coddled up without having to use a carrier or other big bassinet attachment was huge for us.

We have only ever had our Bumbleride for trips to Disney. Never had any issues getting around anywhere with it.

We have the bumbleride indie twin stroller and absolutely love it! Love the air tires for some off roading even though we live in the city. Never know when you might need it. We were also in between the bugaboo donkey and the mountain buggy twin because of the ability to collapse it to a single stroller plus a little side room. Ultimately decide the bugaboo donkey was too expensive and took too much time to set up and take down from the car. We weren’t sure about the quality of the mountain buggy due to reviews, and we had tested the bumbleride in person and could attest to the quality. Watching videos of set up and take down was beneficial to us. We also considered the Zoe twin but ultimately decided we wanted better tires and the ability to use the bassinets in the stroller when they were infants. The Zoe twin is supposed to be really light. We also got a free stroller baby trend snap and go double stroller from a fb group - definitely recommend especially for solo trips to doctor offices and even used it in the airport. But I don’t know if I would buy it outright based on how much we used it. We tried to save as much money as possible because babies cost a lot haha. We used the Nestig mini crib that converts to a crib then to a toddler bed. Loved that it’s on wheels so could wheel from nursery to our bed room during day/night. Highly recommend! I had read a Reddit review on quality and decided against it and then months later ended up getting it. It’s been excellent quality for us! Wish I didn’t read that review and hadn’t wasted so much time trying to think of different options. Absolutely swear by this crib. Another pillow idea is the twin go pillow. We used it for both nursing and bottle feeding and then tummy time. I like how it can be separated into 2 different “boppies” vs the twin go stays as one. We were fortunate to get ours free again off fb so highly recommend looking on fb. I know a lot of ppl swear by the twin z and the table for two especially if bottle feeding. If you’re trying to save money, I would say wait and see what your needs are. Baby toys and equipment and clothes pile up so fast. We have the twin go baby carrier and love that it can be used as single carriers for my husband and I and then one can wear 2 of them. I would say it’s not a must if you already have another carrier or if you know that both you and your husband will often be together with the babies. I think I’ve used the double option once. I also had big babies so that’s something to consider that they’re only going to get bigger than how heavy they are right now while pregnant so you might use the stroller more than wearing both at the same time. Anywho, I think the cost of the twin go is similar to 2 ergo babies or maybe even less, so you could buy 2 other types of carriers or buy the twin go and have the option to wear both if needed. Also I love the woolino sleep sack. It’s about $100 but lasts from 2 months to 2 years old. We bought 4, and we haven’t had to worry about them growing out of a sleep sack and having too big a collection of sleep sacks. Highly recommend it to help cut down on all the clutter and also the amazing properties of merino wool if you’re into that haha.

We have the bumble ride indie twin and have loved it. My boys are now 3 but we still use it. Fits though doorways. Off roads great. We got the adapters for nuna car seats. It’s very heavy and big though so when they were around 1 we got the Zoe double stroller for traveling and quick daily things.

We got the bumbleride indie twin. We wanted a side by side that would hold two infant car seats. Clicking in the car seats was a pain in the ass, not super smooth but worked. With car seats it was a tight squeeze through doors. To be honest we didn’t go very many places when they were that small, as soon as they were a bit bigger I wouldn’t bother with the car seats because it was annoying, I’d just put them right in. Now I use the stroller almost daily for walks/runs. We live rural, there are no sidewalks and it pushes great. I really like it now. Fits standard doors without the car seats attached no problem.

r/beyondthebumpMoms who ran before baby - do you run with baby now?

I jogged with my twin girls when the weather was nicer and they were smaller. I was using a 5k trainer app that had me walk/ run in increments to try and get back to being able to run 5k. We have the bumble ride indie twin stroller- I’m not sure if it’s a jogging stroller but it worked well. Some days there was crying through the jog. There was one time I came home carrying one twin, pushing the other in the stroller, obviously at this point not jogging at all. It did get very heavy to push with two babies and the double stroller. There is one hill I never did manage to jog all the way up before winter hit, before babies I had trouble but made it. Pushing that weight up the hill was just was too much. My girls will be 1 When spring finally arrives and I have my doubts that they’ll even be content sitting in the stroller- so if I can ever find the time it might become my solo activity.

Bumbleride twin, I was lucky to find it secondhand via another family with twins who were done using it.

This one has worked well for us. It folds pretty nicely (and with the seating surfaces inside)—better than some single strollers like the Uppababy Vista. It's exactly the width required for ADA standards, so it precisely fits through most doors.
