We have a Bumbleride Era and it’s great. We don’t use it a lot, but great for walks and outings. I wouldn’t bother with the car seat adaports as they are hard to use and the stroller is already big and bulky. No way am I taking it into a store. I like to babywear, or use a doona/evenflow type car seat. I think I would get the Bumbleride jogging option. It’s easier to fold and I never use the parent facing option.

Oh I can help with this one! Had a baby last April and I’ve been taking him out on the course since he was 3 months old. We got the Bumbleride jogger stroller (used) and it’s handled all my local courses in NorCal with no problem. Apparently controversial on reddit, but buy used (Craigslist, fb marketplace). Got my Bumbleride jogger for $70 and perfect condition Bugaboo for free.

Bumbleride Speed is a good pick for a non-toxic running stroller, but no hand brake kinda sucks for downhill. UPPAbaby Ridge and thule Urban Glide have that hand brake and are safer, so they could work better for you, especially on light trails Guava Roam’s another choice, but yeah, the foam thing is a problem. I’ve had multiple. 1. Baby jogger (got used to death, walks from home on the rough walking trails near my house for 5km + each day had it looking pretty rough) 2. Babybee Luna mini. Lives in my car. Have used for tall 3yo and baby. Very good. 3. Double running trailer/pram (generic brand cost $350ish) I don’t love it, a bit heavy to steer. My husband uses it more than me. But good for toddler to sit in with room to put their bike etc next to them so you don’t have to carry it. Can put their lunch box/water next to them as well. 4. Bumbleride Speed. Just got this recently. Suspension is amazing - easy to steer while running even with a 18kg 4yo in it. Higher weight limit than a Thule pram which is what attracted me. I do a lot of walks from home, I don’t like getting my pram out of the car and then having to remember to put it back in every day.

The handling on my bumbleride is fantastic. I'm sure other high end jogging/hybrid strollers are similar. I would not have been happy with a cheap stroller because we spend a lot of time on walks in the neighborhood and living in the desert, I need something that can handle rocks and dirt. 

We have the Indie as well! Looking forward to running with baby once he is old enough. Did you wait until 6 months? Also thinking of buying a used Thule chariot for biking.

Yep we did. It was super smooth, even on gravel. I found running with a stroller kinda awkward at first (I feel like it messed up my gait) but I eventually got used to it.

We have only ever had our Bumbleride for trips to Disney. Never had any issues getting around anywhere with it.
