I like my Chicco One4ever too!
Yeah we have a chicco stroller for the infant seat but spent the money on a Thule chariot bc we run and will eventually bike with baby
I have a Chicco and it’s midrange at best and I wish I had gone with a more expensive one. I live in NYC so it would have been enormously important for maneuverability.
Honestly, the Chicco stroller that has been rained on several times and what not works just fine and I spent $400 on that and the infant car seat and base. I toyed with purchasing a Mockingbird but ultimately decided against it because she’s going to out grow it and selling it seems silly. The umbrella stroller I used on vacation last year was a more worthwhile purchase and I will probably break it out again for summertime adventures (i.e. zoo, aquarium, etc.)
I have a Chicco stroller. I literally am glad I spent $400 on the whole system because she’s not gonna use it past 3 (and maybe not even past 2) and it works fine for our city life. I can carry it + baby successfully without it being crazy. Some of the fancy strollers are super heavy and IDK how I’d get around with it and baby.
Agreed on the luxury brands of strollers/car seats. I have a chicco stroller and a Graco car seat and they’re snacking
We love our Chicco car seat and stroller (the stroller handles amazingly well and is super easy to fold up/open) and the oxo dispenser is great too!
My toddler is 2.5 and we only have an umbrella stroller that we only use for Disneyland, other than that we just end up pushing an empty stroller around. We got rid of our bulky Chicco stroller soon after she learned to walk. The fact that you have a stroller just for the looks is so ridiculous, especially if you’re scared of dirtying it up. I’ve realized now that kids will somehow gravitate towards the items you hold dearest and break them or mess them up. I say you donate one of the strollers you don’t use as much or list it somewhere if you want some of the money back.
We had the chicco keyfit and loved it! Our daughter had no issue with it. We also got the chicco stroller that the carseat can just click in and out of. Our toddler is almost 3 and we still use the stroller regularly - it’s not too heavy and SUPER easy to set up and collapse. Pregnant with our second and doing the keyfit again.
A boppy pillow! That thing came in clutch for feeding and sleeping! She’s now 19 months and loves her pillow! She carries it around the house. I also got a free Chicco car seat and stroller and it’s great! I plan to get a second seat for my baby boy due in February. I got a lot of hand me downs for my girl and that worked well. They grow so quick and it was nice to not spend a ton of money on clothes that she wore maybe once. I joined a Buy Nothing group on Facebook and have been able to find quite a few things for baby boy as well. Hope this helps!
Folds up small, collapsible with one hand, has a carry strap. Compatible with your infant carrier/car seat is fine until baby is too big for it. For baby 3, we have a knock off of the Joie Nutmeg I think, which itself seems to be a knock off of the Uppababy… Anyway, an umbrella stroller is worse than useless in my opinion, in many situations. We had a jogging stroller and the Chicco for babies 1 and 2, and an umbrella stroller stayed in the car. We got by ok but the one we have now has replaced all the others (I don’t push a stroller jogging anymore).
Bought most of my big baby items like strollers on FB marketplace. We love Chicco. You absolutely do not need a $1500 stroller
