Our twins are 10 months and we have used the cybex gazelle double stroller since birth. Love it. As far as carriers we each have an ergo baby carrier for when the stroller is not ideal. I would like a side by side more compact stroller for when they’re older. As far as bassinet and crib we were gifted one of each and have worked out fine for us but do what you feel comfortable with.
I have a cybex gazelle and Nuna pipa Aire for my twins. We have to use adapters for the seats as well. Was never a big deal or cumbersome. Not sure about the vista but as long as the adapters are easy to snap on I think you’re good. I will say I am glad I went with Nuna as my twins were mono di and had to be born early. Thankfully they passed their car seat tests with the Nuna as it is certified to hold babies as small as 4 lbs without collapsing their airway.
Get the Cybex Gazelle 2. It's super modular, so car seats can attach, and then the stroller seats can be configured in different ways, so we put the twins facing each other sometimes.
I have the Gazelle S for our twins. I love that you can switch the directions of the seats. Now, that they're toddlers, they entertain each other when they face each other and I can fully recline them. We thought about the Vista and Nuna before getting this one and we're happy with our choice.
I have 3 yo and 4 month old. Definitely still using our double stroller Cybex Gazelle S. Got it with this exact intent. I like that I can have bassinet on top and toddler seat on the bottom, unlike with Vista. Having baby on the bottom and far away from me would make me anxious, as I like to keep checking on baby breathing and if there isn’t any blanket on the face. We’ve used it for international travel too. I have the kiddie board as well. Sometimes the 3yo still gets tired or sleepy or we just need to contain him for safety.
We have the Cybex Gazelle double stroller (that can be used with one or two seats) that we got with our first knowing we would be having more kids. That one we use 95% of the time going out with both kids. We got a smaller more compact travel stroller when we went to the UK for a wedding (only one kid at that time and was just soooo much easier getting around with it). I'll use that one during the day if me and the baby are running around because it is alot lighter. It also has a thermal sack attached for the winter so that one's better for keeping her warm (almost 1yr old)
The Cybex Gazelle S2 has the largest (longest?) telescoping handlebar out there. This is not YMMV but actual fact. It’s super easy and smooth to use and lighter than Nuna or Uppababy. I’m 5’2” and my husband is 6’5” and that’s the one we went with!
Three kids - 14 years, 21 months & 3 months. Currently using Cybex Gazelle S as a double Pros: easy to push even when fully loaded over uneven terrain. Basket underneath is huge (comes with shopper basket if you’re using it as single). Can fold with one or both seats on. Like the ability to use it as a single or double depending on which kids you have with you. Cons: it’s very long in double mode. Cannot easily see toddler in front seat when pushing (and they’re at perfect height to clear shelves when shopping 😂). Folding mechanism required good hand strength. Previously had a secondhand Baby Jogger City Mini. Loved the easy all in one fold and the basket at the back of seat. It didn’t sit up as straight as I would have liked, but you can buy straps on eBay to fix this issue easily. It’s very easy to get around in with one child. Looking back now I would probably buy the Baby Jogger double pram. Currently using in the house: Mily & Coup Milo 2. Bought this primarily as it can fold with seat attached and is light. Whilst this pram has its faults, I really do like it. And very much enjoyed it when I just had the one young baby. Faults are the wheels don’t like uneven terrain (even navigating the change from footpath to road is difficult without tilting the pram) and the basket is small underneath. I got the bassinet attachment with this and currently use it for my third as a napper around the house.
I have a Venue. Lower the boot divider. Remove the parcel shelf. I fit a cybex gazelle s2 with second seat in my venue. My Milly + Coup Milo 2 fits perfectly in the venue boot though with the parcel shelf in
2 and our son is 1 yr old . Loved our Cybex Gazelle 2 when we were living in downtown Toronto! We walked everywhere in all weather and it was amazing! Moved to suburbs and now we need a car for everywhere and I understand why people don’t like full size . We just got a uppababy minu for our travels and it’s been good so far! It might become our frequent only car rides stroller!
Stroller. We bought the CYBEX Gazelle S2, and I couldn’t have been happier. We are a walk in the city, buying lot of groceries and walking back home kinda family. I am also an overpacker. So having a spacious storage basket and smooth ride with great shock absorption is amazing. I have seen moms working hard to push their graco, and other considerably “cheaper” (and I mean by money) strollers while m pushing my child easily with one hand. Even with a full basket it was never too hard to push it. The toll it would have taken on me to push the stroller, would have kept me inside the house for sure. Also to add, I am 5’1 while my husband is more than 6. It has served both of us very well.
My Cybex Gazelle has held up really well, so if you find a used one for a good price, you can probably trust that you’ll get good use out of it. I see them on Marketplace now and again.
I haven’t tried any others but I can say that I am really happy with it! We’ve used it basically every day for 2.5 years, in every configuration, with zero issues. We got the adapter for my Graco carseat and also the bassinet attachment. There is a learning curve with the fold (push forward, not down), but I got used to it quickly. It’s so easy to handle, has so much storage, and has survived snow and rain and wind and all kinds of toddler climbing up the sides nonsense— no issues! To me, the best stroller is the one that I never have to think about, and that’s this one. Edit: if you get a used one, ask if the seat has the older or newer style harness straps. The straps on my original rumble seat were always getting twisted but the updated design on the newer seat I bought is SO EASY.
I love the Cybex Gazelle! It’s not the cheapest but mine has been so study over almost four years of frequent use.
I have had my Cybex Gazelle for over three years and 2u2. I love it! It’s still in great shape and we’re planning to use it extensively with my third.
It’s not on your list, but for what it’s worth, I LOVE my Cybex Gazelle S. I used it with an adapter for our Graco carseat and with the Cybex bassinet. And now I use it with both toddler seats. It’s about 3.5 years into hard use (all seasons, all surfaces) with no issues, and I anticipate still using it when our third arrives (although with 3u4 I will also be getting a wagon).
Agree! We loved this system for our first (in the $600 range) but sadly need to get a different system for a second baby. We are opting for the Cybex Gazelle S2 which has an adaptor so we can still use our Chicco Keyfit 35 carseat. Looking to get one used on Facebook- seems like there is a good market for used strollers fyi
We have the Cybex Gazelle S2 and let me just say it’s like having the BMW of strollers. I got this one because I’m kinda future proofing for 2 kids and I don’t wanna have to buy a new one. It’s soooo smooth and the suspension is insane. The only downside is it’s quite heavy and bulky, but I love using it for everyday. I have the Cybex Libelle 2 for travel. We also got the Cybex Cloud T as an infant carseat because you can lay the baby flat, which removed the need to buy the bassinet. But, we recently got the Cybex Callisto G 360 as a growing up carseat and looking back, I would’ve just opted for this since it’s infant to until they don’t need carseats anymore. Now, all these options are high quality but very bulky/heavy duty. The lightest infant carseat I would consider is the Nuna Pipa Aire RX. The Gazelle comes with adaptors already, so it can be used with any carseat, not just Cybex ones.
