Evenflo has treated us well through multiple kids (xpand, victory jogger, shyft rideshare) with infant seat connection points built in to the jogger stroller and stroller wagon at no extra cost, and is often on sale for a decent price.
FTM-to-be in Quebec and I got an Evenflo jogger travel system at Walmart. Everything sold in store meets Canadian safety standards, it’s lightweight and very affordable until baby girl needs the more permanent convertible car seat.
We got an Evenflo travel system. Which I didn’t really think past the price point with. Oh what a rookie mistake. The car seat takes so much room in both our vehicles and the stroller is such a pain in my ass to open. We still haven’t needed it anywhere yet apart from walking around home so it just stays open in our entrance.
I have an Evenflo travel system, it’s a jogging stroller so it has 3 very large wheels. I find them good for terrains. I’d maybe go with the first option for that reason as the wheels look bigger!
I’d personally get something like the Graco trax 2.0 Jogger Travel System, but they have other models. They are made with bigger wheels which are great for terrain. I’m in Canada and bought the Evenflo jogger but they are similar!
My sister had this jogger system for her baby and she said the wheel at the front got stuck a lot which made it hard to steer (I guess it got stuck in jogging mode lol) I have the Evenflo jogging system which is VERY similar in design but we have never had a problem with it. Folds up pretty easy. Also edit after I read my post lol; I use my stroller if not every day for walking, easy to push, relatively lightweight when I started walking alone 6w pp.
I needed a stroller and car seat that was active. I ended up going with Evenflo. The car seats are car crash tested and verified to keep infants and toddlers safe. I also needed a jogging stroller to walk the dog. The joggers are much more sturdy and bounce resistant on rough terrain. I can then switch out the car seat into the reversi frame for days I want to pack lighter and go for city strolls. In all, budget was also a factor so it came out to like $500 for everything. Jogger + car seat travel system was $299 and the reversi frame was $200. I didn't want to spend $500+ for like the Nuna, Cybex etc. the Evenflo gets the job done even if it's a bit bulky, but at least the little one is snug, safe and so is my bank account 🤣 Hope that helps! PS, I'm quoting in Canadian, so USD is probably around 350-400 total?
We bought one with big off road wheels. But with a three wheel stroller comes very small undercarriage storage. I do love how easy it is to push in off terrain. But I can barely fit my diaper bag under the stroller.
I got the Evenflo Victory Plus Jogging Stroller Travel System
Another issue we ran itoo that never came to mind when stroller shopping was how big it folds. My stroller, when folded, fits tight in the back of my car. The front wheel is in the back windshield while one the side wheels rubs my car ceiling.
I have the evenflow jogger. It’s great for any kind of terrain and it’s nice because you can lock the front wheel to not swivel if you want to jog or push it back and forth.
I really enjoyed the evenflo travel system. It came with an infant car seat and base that easily locked into the stroller frame and it came with a bassinet that could pop up into a seat for when baby is old enough. My only hesitation on this one though is using the car seat for a second baby after 4-5 years as I’m not sure when the seat itself expires. I’m actually buying this one again for our second because I had gifted it when my daughter outgrew it not thinking we would need a stroller again!
We have the evenflo travel system and it works fine for us! We have used them for over a year now for weekend strolls around city sidewalks and in parks all season.
3, but now 2. One evenflo travel system which I sold then bought graco travel system then bought uppababy vista because baby (at 5 months) hated bassinet but couldn’t do full recline. I also wish I just went right to uppababy.
We got an Evenflo travel system. It’s was like $300. It came with the infant car seat. It’s awesome. Daughter is 2.5. The car seat has done Disney world, parks, pool, festivals, sporting events. I have no complaints. I’d never buy a more expensive one after having such a good experience with what we got.
