With my first we got the Graco Jogger LX with the Graco Snugride Snugfit DLX carseat and loved this combo. We still love this stroller - easy to fold, love that it has air filled rubber tires. We are expecting #2 with a 15 month age gap so needed to upgrade our stroller to accommodate and bought the Cyber Gazelle after much research. It has an adapter so we can still use the Graco carseat and will buy a second seat once #2 gets a little bigger. It had one of the higher weight limits for the second seat and good reviews on being able to steer it with two children. Magically saw the black on sale for $350 last week on Amazon, will receive on Thursday!
Yes, I love having carseat compatibility with my stroller! We have the Graco snug ride snug fit DLX with the Graco Fastaction Jogger, we've used this with both kids and I love the ease it folds up, and the "real" tires which helps on all terrain. We also have the Cyber Gazelle with Graco adapter, because we have 2 under 2 and sometimes need the double stroller option. This stroller is so smooth and turns really easily even with one hand but is not so great in loose rocks or dirt. It really isn't a big deal to pop the carseat in to the stroller at home or get baby ready in the carseat and then take him out to the garage to pop it in when we go for walks. I like it because he then faces me, plus most strollers are not recommended until at least 6 months of age on their own so you either need to use a carseat or one with a bassinet attachment.
We did graco quick connect car seat and jogging stroller. Worked well for our two kids.
We started with the Graco fast action jogger. That thing was a beast and because it used actual bicycle wheels they rolled smooth and held up to grass, curbs, dirt paths etc. Once we had our second we got the Graco Duo glider. Another great stroller that held up to 3 kids (we usually had 2 in the stroller and sometimes 1standing on the footpad in the back. Both strollers are on the heavier side but both are still being passed through the friend group. I think the double is on its 3rd set of kids. We eventually got the wonderful 4 seater with upgraded wheels. It's nice and I wish we went to that after the jogger just so we got more use out of it. If you plan on having multiple kids, consider the wagon if you have the space.
Lots of snow where we live and we did the Graco fast action jogger. Been happy with it!
It really depends on your lifestyle and also your baby to some degree. I have a 10 month old and she’s not a fan of the stroller, she goes in the front carrier 90% of the time! I have a graco stroller and am very happy with it for how much we use it.
I have the jogger version and it’s great in the snow.
I hate my Graco jogger, but my baby does also so we never ended up using it a ton. Only on quick walks to the park which is short enough that the creaking and random wheel locking doesn’t send me over the edge. Planning on getting a Veer wagon eventually!
Neat graphic! I ignored all suggestions, got the cheap Graco Fast Action Jogger, and it has done just fine 😆
We use the Graco FastAction Jogger Stroller. It fits in our little car and I like unclicking her car seat from the base in the car straight to the stroller, and I can keep using it as she gets bigger. I was lucky though and had a bunch of gift cards from the baby shower and got the stroller and the seat on sale.
The Graco FastAction jogger is a great all terrain stroller. Available on Amazon in a bundle with the bucket car seat that clicks into the stroller for $549. The 4ever (or extend2fit) go on sale regularly. It may be easier to wait and get a convertible car seat later on. A bucket seat that clicks into the stroller is very convenient to have early on.
I have my larger indie bumbleride jogger for my dirt driveway and road that I keep at home. I purchased a super cheap second hand graco click and connect 4 wheeled stroller for my travel stroller because the infant seat clicks into it. And it folds nice and small for the airport.
I have a bumbleride indie and it rides like butter compared to the graco jogger I had. I did like the cheap graco for the airport though
It depends how much you’ll use it. And you might not know what you’re missing until you use a nicer stroller. We initially got a cheap Graco jogger. It was fine, until we used a Baby Jogger while at an Airbnb. Omg so much nicer. We instantly bought the same one off the marketplace for $50 and love it. When we had two under two, I wanted a side by side configuration that was compatible with a bassinet. We went with Bugaboo Donkey which is priceyyyy. But it’s a single, double, bassinet, older kid—all in one. There were cheaper options, but I liked that Bugaboo has so many replacement parts available for sale. Many companies (looking at Baby Jogger) phase out replacement parts so you’re forced to buy an entire stroller.
Personally: Second hand is the way to go. See if you can find a used model of the strollers you like on Facebook marketplace, Craigslist, or Offer up. I got a used BOB double jogging stroller for $100. It shows wear, but still works great and brand new it would have cost $600-900. If you must buy new some of the more budget friendly brands like Graco are good too. For my first baby I used a Graco jogging stroller for long walks and an umbrella stroller when he got older. They didn't break the bank and were super reliable.
