I have the Graco FastAction SE from my first that I’m going to be using again! It was purchased a few years ago but I just looked and they’re still for sale. I purchased it specifically because it was super light and easy to fold/unfold quickly. It also wasn’t super expensive. The bucket seat clicks into it so baby is facing you until they outgrow that!

We asked for the nice three big wheel jogger graco on the register and got a hand-me-down super folder graco. We bought the seat and car base ourselves. Made the first year so much easier. Once kid could stand up (not walk) we got an “umbrella folding” stroller for short trips. It’s a lot of stuff I guess to store, but you just pick the best one for the expected job and it’s great.

Graco mom over here. Honestly, I didn’t try Uppa and I didn’t understand why they were so expensive. I have 2 graco strollers and both car seats were Graco. Everything was easy to use, the basket on my graco jogger was massive and great, and I had a smaller one for quick trips or travelling, which I recommend. The infant car seat was fantastic and obviously fit with both strollers. My baby has friends who had Uppa strollers and both babies have grown into wonderful toddlers. I just spent less money on a stroller. I used a halo bassinet for a bit then baby went to the crib.

Used for almost everything, the only thing worth splurging on is a BOB. Everything other than a jogging stroller is the same basic design. The move is to buy them used/cheap as possible, then you can buy multiple strollers that each meet a certain need for the same price as a new “jack of all trades” stroller that won’t be. We have a BOB all terrain (the big purchase, because we run with him) and then an ultra compact one for travel, we also had what was essentially a Graco cart that his car seat clipped into (but didn’t have a seat otherwise) for when he was <1 year.

Hi- mom to a 10 month old. We’ve loved our Graco system. The 3-4 way travel set is the way to go. Car seat, car seat base, bassinet, and stroller all comes in one box, $399. He’s finally outgrowing his car seat now but he’s also 99th percentile in height. And we just purchased the Graco toddler car seat, love it already!

We started with a Graco travel system, bought an umbrella stroller for indoors, found that both didnt turn well on slick floor inside stores. Bought a bugaboo lynx and got rid of both of the others. Our lynx comes in and out of the house since it turns much better than our cheap umbrella stroller did. It doesn't fold super small so you need decent trunk space but it's pretty lightweight so easy to pop in and out.

3, but now 2. One evenflo travel system which I sold then bought graco travel system then bought uppababy vista because baby (at 5 months) hated bassinet but couldn’t do full recline. I also wish I just went right to uppababy.

I have a Graco travel system/car seats and they work just fine. I'm even using the same infant car seat for my second child since the first isn't expired and hasn't been in a wreck. The few luxury brands I've acquired were second hand through FB marketplace or yard sales. I hunted for months for good deals on a double BOB stroller and some Baby Bjorn bouncers, but it is because they are good quality products and not for brand status. How well the baby product works for you is far more important than the name on the label.

We got a graco travel system with the infant car seat. I loved it. The infant carseat we were able to use it for awhile. I know a lot of people complain the infant carseat gets too heavy to take out all the time, but that's what we did. I loved the bassinet feature with the stroller. And then it converted to toddler stroller. We still use it and my daughter is 2. It is not the smallest when folded, but that's my only complaint. We mainly use it in the neighborhood so keep it open in the garage for easy use. I have an umbrella stroller to take on errands that I know I need it to keep her contained, like the DMV.

r/BabyBumpsIs a stroller bassinet worth it?

Depends on how much you plan to use it as a newborn. Some have the infant carseat just clips into the stroller as well. I have a graco travel system that the bassinet part switches to the seat part once they can sit up. I took my daughter for a few walks in the bassinet part so it was used. When she got big enough I switched it to the seat for walks. My stroller can also just have the carseat clip in, which I never did. How much do you plan to use th stroller in those early months will help you decide

r/BabyBumpsHow many strollers did you end up with? Is it possible to get by with just one?

I have 2, 1 was a registry gift and the other was a handme down. I got a graco travel system stroller, that is the main stroller i use. I also have a umbrella stroller that my sis in law gave me from her kids. I have used it a few times. Its easier to use if I just need to run errands some place that doesn't have shopping carts. Its smaller and lighter then my graco stroller. We keep the graco stroller set up in the garage for whenever we go on walks in the neighborhood. Personally would have been fine with just the graco, but the smaller umbrella stroller is nice to have as well

r/NewParentsNew parent question: Are stroller over $500 really worth it? Is a more expensive stroller always better?

Really depends on how much you plan to use it and how. I got a graco travel system that came with the carseat and stroller. The carseat can clip into the stroller if needed. The stroller is also a bassinet and transfers into the toddler seat when they can sit up. I mainly planned to use it for walks around the neighborhood and if we went anywhere like shopping or the zoo. I love my stroller. Got it for my oldest and she would usually sleep in the bassinet part on walks and when she got older she loved being able to look around when on walks in the toddler seat. My youngest is 1 week old and I took her on her 1st walk yesterday. Had to switch the stroller back to the bassinet and she slept the whole walk. I honestly dont see the point in spending tons of money on a stroller unless you plan to use it every day for a good amount of time.

If I could fit all over again I’d spend the money up front and invest in a Graco travel system. Their snug ride car seat and infant carrier was easy to install and made me feel secure about my baby’s safety at all times. We could even use it without the base in a pinch by guiding a seatbelt through the designated strap holders. That same carrier snaps securely into their stroller system, and the right stroller even evolved as your baby grows. It’s great value for money and great convenience for mom and dad.
