You’ll probably end up with more than one stroller coming from someone that has gone through 4 in a year before finally finding what I like. If you want to just pop the car seat on something when doing quick trip look at getting a second small stiller, the Graco ready2jet it’s like $150 and you can just keep it in the car the Graco seats just clip onto it. And then get the Nuna or uppababy for the bigger outing/when they out grow there infant seat (my baby was in a convertible at 6 months) I keep my travel stroller in my car and use my bigger Bob for longer walks and stuff.
I have the Graco one, it folds one handed fine. It's not one of the fun like, self folding ones, but it's pretty easy. Fits in the overhead just fine too.
Need to chime in with some love for Graco products. We were gifted a Graco modes pramette stroller and snugride car seat plus a couple car seat bases. I then bought us a Graco Ready2Jet travel stroller for our plane rides and I love how the car seat can click into the stroller. My baby is on the tall side so I’ve already leveled up and gotten a Graco Turn2Me convertible car seat for my car. I also bought a Graco Premier Modes Merge stroller as our main stroller off of an overstock website so it was like $300 instead of $400, and if I were to do it over again I would have started with that line of travel system (includes the car seat) because it feels really high end for probably half the price of the actual high end brands.
Seconding Graco! Specifically the ready2jet stroller lives in our car and doesn’t take up too much space.
I just unpacked my Ready2Jet and it seems like a great stroller. It’s about 4 lbs lighter than my old stroller and the handle is great for tall people.
We just traveled with my 90th percentile (height/weight/head) 11 month old. We got the graco ready2jet from Costco and it did really well for us. We now use it when trunk space is limited or it’ll be tight where ever we are going.
Graco snugride (or any graco car seat) and the graco ready2jet. Car seat snaps into stroller w no attachments, stroller folds up small and light, and when baby gets bigger the stroller can be used as a toddler stroller. Also comes with a cup holder. For a diaper bag, either a tote with pouches or a backpack with NO flap over top— you want to be able to open and shut it one handed
We went with the BOB Allterrain so can’t speak to those two strollers specifically but we love the jogger- we’ve even taken it golfing. Just popping in to say I would absolutely still plan to get a smaller stroller for travel. We do frequent indoor spaces a little more frequently and for shopping, so I actually have three strollers 🙃 (important to note, I only paid full price for our travel stroller, the other two we got at KILLER deals otherwise I think my husband would leave me for having 3 lol). We have an Uppababy Cruz for day to day and then the Graco Ready2Jet for traveling - it’s light weight, folds easily, and has a decent under basket - not as big as the uppa or bob but still good enough and much easier to travel with. We got it from Costco for like $100. The jogging stroller is so big even when folded and takes up a majority of the trunk space in my jeep. It would be a pain IMO for air travel and I would be very annoyed losing half of my cargo space on road trips.
We ended up just buying the Graco Ready2Jet. We didn’t want to travel with our nice Nuna stroller and car seat. Rather have a $200 stroller car seat combo get beat up by air travel.
Never tried to. We gate checked it both ways which worked great.
The Graco Ready to Jet is a nice budget stroller. It's much flimsier than the Minu though and doesn't fold or push nearly as nicely. If you don't need the Minu for flying it's a great choice for basic getting around town. I will say that the two in store we tried were both busted so I would be worried about longevity. But for $75 who cares about it breaking.
