Based on 1 year's data from Mar 17, 2026 How it works
I had a graco stand and sit tandem which was useful during the infant bucket seat era (also helpful for my then 2yo). We now use the Zoe side by side. It weighs about 20 pounds and fits beautifully in the trunk of our van with lots of room to spare. We bought it used off marketplace. I love it. The downside though is there is not much storage IMO underneath, but we do have an older model so I think that has been updated.
Not a travel system.. but long term 1000% the Zoe. It is about 20ish pounds, side by side, folds easy + compact, and fits through a standard door. I got it once we were done with infant seats. We have the third seat which attaches to it too. We used a graco inline stroller which was ok, but was bulky and not a long- term item for us. Their customer service is great too. Their website doesn’t sell wheels individually (sold as a set), but they sold me just one after one of our wheels broke. The wheel breaking was frustrating, but we put tons of miles on our stroller so it doesn’t strike me as outrageous to have it break. Super nice because to replace one wheel was $17.. nice to not have to replace the whole set.
YES YES YES unless you wanna figure out how to put one in a stroller and carry the other while pushing. no brainer. weird you dont even realize 3 years olds dont really walk for as long or as fast as adults do. i had a graco double stroller it turned into the sit stand model when they got older. i used it for 4 years. we had a 4 year age gap
I have been OBSESSING over strollers recently. Multiple spreadsheet level obsession. Choosing a stroller is easier if you figure out what your priorities are and what your budget is. When it comes to twin strollers, the expense is higher bc of added seats, so mid-range strollers like BabyJogger become as expensive as luxury strollers for singletons. If the most important thing to you is a low price (without sacrificing safety/necessities obviously) then a Graco stroller is best. They make a tandem and a side by side model, both come with highly satisfied reviews from all users. But why doesn't everyone just buy Graco then, if it's so good? Because it's so good for what it is, but that is still a budget stroller. More expensive strollers are made with better materials that are much lighter to carry. A Graco can be between 32-36 lbs, but the Nuna trvl dubl weighs only 23! The wheels on the Graco stroller transmit more bumps and shocks to the baby and may struggle to navigate through snow or mud, but the wheels on BabyJogger strollers absorb shock and push through all kinds of weather with ease. So what are you looking to do with your stroller? Are you in a city where a thin profile is a must? Are you in a suburb with well maintained sidewalks? Are you in a rural area with a lot of unfinished paths? Are you trying to take babies out on adult errands or only on kid ones (think shopping vs going to the park)? What's your budget limit? Does that budget include accessories or items sold separately (e.g. adapters, cup holders, etc)?
Walmart. They have a surprisingly good selection of low and mid-priced strollers. I got a twin graco travel system -- I was pleased with it.
In general I'm the queen of simplicity and minimalism but this is one category where I strongly feel more is better! At one point we had 3 strollers and I have no regrets. Our boys just turned 3 and here's my thoughts: Thule urban glide jogger is 100% the best stroller on the planet for farmers markets, walks, dirt trails, fairs, you name it. It's huge but it's so smooth and agile. It will fit through most handicapped accessible doors but its tiiiight. Also it barely fits in the trunk of our Kia Niro and if it comes with us, basically nothing else can. We got it second hand and if it were to go missing, I'd shell out the cash for a new one immediately. Then for the infant phase, we used the Graco double tandem one that the car seats snap into. This was essential for me post c-section and on maternity leave. It was the only way I could easily and often leave the house. I could park is next to the car, get one kid in, go to the other side, get the other kid in (I was very anxious about leaving the stroller behind the car in case someone hit it. I'm over it now but the long/narrow format worked well for me then). It folds single handedly and flat enough that while it's big, you can still put stuff on top of it in the trunk. Plus then you can see both kids while you push it, vs some of the sideways frame ones. However when we outgrew the bucket seats, it quickly lost it's appeal. We gave it away when the boys were 2. It's long and awkward to turn through aisles, but it fits in doors easily. Edit to add: This stroller was also essential for my early grocery shopping days. I could push it with one hand in front of me and pull my cart behind me with the other. I am sure I looked straight crazy but until they could sit in the costco double cart, my choices were limited. We have a side by side double umbrella stroller (not sure the brand, it's basic and was second hand). We use this for all travel and for local trips when we don't want to pack up the jogger (like the zoo or aquarium). I wanted a wagon for a while but my husband was aghast at the number of strollers we had already. I still want a wagon for the pool and beach honestly but they walk fine most places and we don't need it. I'd recommend you look on Marketplace or your local kids tag sales for the expensive version of everything and get multiple second hand.
Same story. I got the Graco double stroller that was compatible with our existing Graco bucket seat off marketplace. Great condition, and I figure I can resell it when we're done.
I like Graco. Affordable, but also reliable. I have the Graco bucket seat - snug right? Something along those lines. And I have 2 Graco strollers - one single and now since we just had our second baby we have a double. My Graco car seat was like ~130 and the strollers were each under 200.
Seriously my graco double stroller feels like a double decker bus
I can’t find my comment to reply, but we got our double stroller on FB for $30. it’s graco and was compatible with our infant bucket seat so i’d start there to figure out what you want. We bought our wagon brand new but I figured that would get more use after I realized how much we used the stroller.
Both my graco strollers are pieces of shit. My double is probably one more snap from a crack and it’s only been in use since my second was about two months old. He’s barely seven months now!!! Don’t be me. Get the fancy one because it will take care of you! My graco does not take care of me and I take care of it - I tie it to my truck so it doesn’t roll all over the place, I have truck shade so it’s not getting beat up, I don’t let my toddler beat it up I treat it with care!!!!! And it sucks. So did the single. $500+ in strollers and what do I have??? A crap stroller and a bunch of useless attachments I won’t throw away because it feels like fast fashion lmao
