Following. My 2 year old never likes when I recline her nuna mixx but for some reason I’m hoping she’d be fine with the minu (plus baby 2 on the way) because it is damn near perfect in every other way

we love our nuna mixx next! so comfy for baby from day 1, no bassinet or additional attachment needed as it reclines to be flat, and such a smooth ride!! it is a bit bulky tho but if you’re leaving it in the car then it shouldn’t really be an issue

My wife and I use the Nuna Mixx next, the car seat has arms that attach to the two clips every rear seat has. Super simple to secure and remove and put onto the stroller. The normal stroller seat folds flat and coverts into a bassinet which is better than having to have a separate bassinet for the stroller. It’s designed for city use and meant to fold pretty flat when not used.

r/dadditAre there much differences in cheaper car seat and/or strollers vs pricey ones?

Wife and I have a Nuna mixx next, we like it for a few reasons, ours folds flat so we didn’t need a cumbersome bassinet (one less thing) also the car seat that came with it clips directly into the attachments in the seat. I don’t have to waste time with a seatbelt or some docking base, if we need to use a cab or uber we just clip the car seat to the seats attachment points. The stroller itself is robust, the suspension works great and the break is simple to use. The little details are great too like magnets to hold the harness clips when you’re putting you kid in the stroller you won’t have to fish a harness strap from behind them.

We went for the Nuna Mixx bundle from John Lewis. Love the pushchair and specifically went for the bundle as it comes with a lie flat car seat that doubles as the bassinet attachment which was invaluable for car trips with a newborn. I, personally, don’t like the TODL car seat that comes in the bundle. We have a Joie car seat in the other car and we far prefer that car seat.

Had a secondhand Bugaboo Chameleon with our first and it was really fantastic, we had quite a few extras included luckily, they get very pricey. After a couple of house moves we got rid of it before our second. We then got the Nuna Mixx Next which comes with all the extras and is very reasonably priced so that was great but I still preferred the Bugaboo. Definitely go and test at Babypark. Congratulations 🎊

We got the Nuna Mixx Next, we live in London. It’s been on many a bus, train, tube, black cab as well as several planes to various other countries. It’s still in great condition after our first and we’re about to get the bassinet back out for our second. Highly recommend.

I got the Nuna Next for this exact reason, seemed like the best compromise and it’s worked really well for us for the last 2.5 years including multiple holidays.

If I had my time again, I would have absolutely gone the nuna mixx.

Oh and as to why the nuna mixx; I like that it's a bit more compact and you can have the newborn in the seat from the beginning. And that we can fold up while the seat is parent facing.

I second this! My partner got a nuna mix next or something like that (a beast) and it was SO heavy and bulky to manoeuvre that I ended up selling it and getting a redsbaby aeron (not fully travel size, but omg what a pram)
