we bought a travel stroller (cybex libelle) and a big stroller (nuna triv next) - ended up using the travel stroller like, 99% of the time. Big stroller just sits in the garage now and we use it for walks around the block but for everything that requires actually going in a car, we use the travel one
I love my Nuna Triv Next. We bought the bassinet but only used it with the stroller a couple of times because the car seat just made more sense. She slept in the bassinet every night til she outgrew it at 3 months though, so still worth it.
I have the nuna triv next & like it but don’t love it. We have a silver cross reef for our main stroller & bassinet (I believe it’s an EU brand) and we love that one. The nuna is sort of cheap feeling & doesn’t have very good suspension when comparing the two. It’s still a great stroller but because I have (imo a better one) I don’t think it’s as amazing as the internet makes it seem 😆 I almost wish we’d gotten the nuna mixx or Demi but I’ve seen how the footrest sags on the mixx after a while of use since there’s no frame to support it, and the Demi was just way too big when I tried it out in store.
We have a nuna triv and plan on using it as our primary stroller. We also have a silver cross reef for big/long walks in our neighborhood & uppababy minu for travel. I think the triv is big enough for daily/regular use but it’s light enough that I can carry it & it doesn’t feel super heavy. We got it as an unexpected gift from a friend, so we already had the other two prior 💀 otherwise I think we could’ve been ok with just the triv! The only thing I dislike about it is that the baby feels like they’re kinda low to the ground. With the nuna mixx and silver cross the seat is a big higher but idk if that’s a deal breaker for everyone or just me lol.
I have the Nuna Triv Next and would say it's not suitable for what you need. It's my "big" pushchair. It's definitely not the lightest and is a bit chunky when folded up. I had to get a bigger car as there was no space for anything else in the boot!
I have the Nuna Triv next and a Joolz aer+. I used the Nuna from birth and am still using it at 19 months almost daily. I got the Joolz when my daughter was 7 months old as the Nuna got too heavy with her to use on the tube by myself. So when I’m staying close to home or just going on the bus somewhere near I’ll use the Nuna. Going anywhere else or travelling abroad I’ve used the Joolz. I really like it and it’s super easy to fold and can go in the hold if you ever go on a plane etc.
I have a Nuna Triv next and also a Joolz aer+. It sounds like what you want is the Joolz to be honest. I do love my Nuna but I only use it in my local area/dog walks, I live in a house so very rarely fold it or have to carry it. When I’m going further away/on the tube(I live in zone 2 of London)/on flights etc I use my Joolz. It’s easy to fold with one hand (unlike the yoyo) and so I can fold it whilst holding my daughter as well. I would highly recommend the Joolz aer+ or aer2.
We have a Nuna Triv Next. Possibly not the lightest but certainly not heavy, it's suitable from birth even without the carrycot and has one-handed operation for putting up and down.
We are getting the Nuna Triv Next for this reason - can be gate checked, super light and easy to fold, one handed fold Once we tried it out in the store we were sold
I had similar criteria and decided on the Nuna Triv Next with their Pipa Aire Rx infant car seat and also the bassinet. My baby is 3 months now and I take him out on my own all the time. I’m petite and wanted something light, easy to handle, and one-handed fold. I love the bassinet for walks and any time we are out for extended periods of time. We also use it as a sleep space for baby while traveling. We’ll be using this set up for our March trip to NYC as well.
I will sing the praises of the nuna triv next from the rooftops. I love that thing. We had an uppababy vista because we were planning for 2 under 2 and sold it a month after baby was here. Baby hated it, we hated it, it was clunky and bulky and not at all suited for our lifestyle. The nuna triv next has been amazing. We use it almost every day.
We use a Nuna Triv Next. It checked all of our boxes as our single stroller… it’s pretty small and light!
A Nuna stroller! Lightweight and easy to fold with one hand, have gotten every penny out of that thing!
Should’ve specified 😅 TRIV Next
Nuna TRIV Next. Definitely pricey, but I’m so happy with it. We tried out a lot of strollers before purchasing this one
