Redsbaby skip 3 for which we bought the handle bar separately or I would recommend baby bee’s travel pram but you’ll have to buy the carry bag separately

No idea on the seat but for travel pram I went with the Redsbaby Skip3 after extensive research. Biggest basket, one of the lightest ones, sturdy, easy to manoeuvre and comfortable. Comes with its own travel bag and it’s excellent for the price

I have always travelled with a vista an a Cruz. They aren’t too bad to travel with and you can just put it in a travel bag and gate check it. With that said, I recently got the Skip3 because I am flying long haul solo with 4 kids and I love it. It’s also not ridiculously expensive and has a 20% off right now. Tips for travel - plenty of food for baby and a few toys they like, a portable changing mat and 2 change of clothes. It’s not an easy flight going there but it’s manageable. Good luck!

Redsbaby skip! They’ve just released a new model and if it was in the budget I would upgrade from the skip2 to the skip3 in a heartbeat! Compact, light, fits overhead (have flown with it many times with virgin and never been denied). Lays flat for infants too.

We went to Melbourne before Christmas and were able to fit our Redsbaby Skip 3 in the overhead compartment. Baby is not the biggest fan of the carrier and 99th percentile for weight so having a pram that could fit on the plane really suited us! Now I use the skip more than our big pram.

I took the skip3 overseas recently and honestly can’t fault it. It went on 6 different planes, was gate checked for some and carried on for others. The hood also folds down very far for when Bub is napping. Make sure you get the bar accessory. Very helpful for feeling more secure with younger Bub in the pram + it’s somewhere to loop a fan if you’re going somewhere warm (baby was also 6 months when we went on holidays). Let me know if you have any questions!

The seat sits all the way up. There’s a strap in the back that you pull to tighten to sit up and can slowly release to recline to whatever angle you want. Very simple and very easy system!

The skip3 is one handed fold though. I got one for $400 on sale the other week from their website. It’s pretty good. Small basket etc but totally doable. I think I’ll start using as the main pram for my 11 month old now.

Heyy there!! My husband and I are trying to remember how we unfold it. Lol. I can confirm. I need to press the button to unfold it! Folding you definitely need to press the button and push it down? And yes. My husband confirms that you have to carry the skip3 with the carry strap not the handles. * Double checking with my husband cause he is the detail guy between both of us...

r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAuPrams - did you regret getting a larger, heavy pram for your first baby?

We got a single to double (Cybex gazelle) and like it as a single. Our second is due in November so yet to know what it’s like as a double. But honestly if I was to do it all over again, I would get a travel pram that comes with a bassinet option (Redsbaby Skip 3, Yoyo or Joolz Aer+) and then use that as the primary pram. It’s small compact, you won’t need to buy another thing if you travel and it’s so easy to put in and out of car etc. If you then become pregnant with a second and realise you’ll benefit from a double pram- then get the big double pram. The reality is you never know when you might fall pregnant with a second. And so you don’t know what the age gap might be. You might even be able to just use a single pram + toddler board if it’s a large enough age gap. For reference, we got the skip 3 and it’s great. We had the yoyo - don’t love it. The Joolz aer looks really good and I sort of wish I got that when i was picking between Joolz and yoyo. But skip 3 is new and more reasonable price than Joolz.

I have a redsbaby skip 3 travel pram and it folds TINY. It’s so lovely compared to my previous full size. Maybe check out travel prams?

We had a Redsbaby jive3, it got the job done for under $1k. We could pop them capsule on it too which was super handy. We now have the Redsbaby skip and it’s excellent too.

I recently got the redsbaby skip 3 and love it. It has a huge basket which I love and a tall backrest. It doesn't recline fully flat but definitely enough for my toddler to be comfortable. Apparently the skip 2 has a better recline but a much smaller basket.
