"A good robovac is a life changer. Even a $350 basic S8. It is a great place to start. ... I promise you that you will not be disappointed by a basic S8. It will change your life even if it can't fit under every piece of furniture you own. ... My two S8s just finished vacuuming our entire house in about 46 minutes. ... While my floors were being cleaned, I sat comfortably on our patio in the cool shade with a slight breeze and composed my far too long response to you while sipping a diet soda and relaxing. ... I will have to spend about four minutes maintaining my two S8s. This will be my entire contribution to my home floor cleaning effort for today. Four minutes!"
"Like 500$ these robots are currently the steal of the century ... You can get a mova p10 pro ultra (cannot remove its mops), equivalent to the l40/x40 for 500$ after a discount code"
"I got the Q5 Pro for $139. ... costs $450 less than what I paid for the S6 ... it is the best value option out there imo."

"We have traveled to 3 countries with it, set it up on taxis etc."
"Super easy. ... Took about 20-30 minutes"
"sets up in under 3 min including stake out time. ... Take down is just as fast and it fits in its storage bag with out much fuss. ... set up in under 90 seconds 120 if you putting in stakes."

"It stood up to a tornado i got hit with on my last backpacking trip in missouri."
"it literally survived a tornado while set up. I just had to stake it back down."
"surprisingly solid tent for hunkering down for a day or two in very wet and stormy Wyoming weather. ... exceed the quality of a lot of Western branded mid range tents in the $500 USD pricing tier based on my experience of seeing colleagues with a couple of very well known and popular mid tiered tents struggling under stronger winds and wetter weather."

"The footprint of the floor is a square for the T4 hub tent, so you should find the available space easy to work with, even with mattress. ... We have the T4 plus, which is just two squares with a room divider. We use cots and there is room for 5 and the dogs."
"I also loved how tall it was, you can probably stand up straight even as a tall person. ... Standing up straight in a tent is a game changer"
"I'm 6'3 and can stand up in it."

"We only had one issue with one pole snapping (after a toddler got hold of it) and it was easily repaired with a kit we got at Walmart."

"found it to be the equivalent warmth of the insulated static v plus my ccf, and even pairing the etherlight extreme with a ccf, and having it fully inflated wasn’t nearly enough for sleeping on frozen ground or snow."
"I've got three nights on it so far in temperatures ranging from upper 30s to mid 40s and I have been cold on it every night. ... It wasn't freezing, but it was noticeably cool and feels like an accurate R-value would be significantly lower. ... That night the pad felt a little colder than my nights on the Neoloft have been, but not by much."
"If I need more than 4 R insulation (I'm sleeping on snow most likely) I'm taking a ccf for backup because I don't want to die."

"Im camping now in a Coleman 4 person tent. 1 is comfy, 2 is cramped. 4 if we were midgets."
"I find that you basically have to halve the number of people advertised to fit in a tent to get a comfortable experience with space for gear and to be sleeping without being up against the side walls (which can cause moisture to transfer inside of the tent). ... my Coleman rent that is advertised as a 6 person tent but sleeps three plus gear better than it fits 6 sardines."
"Door is only on one side, which makes it hard to use 2 cots (6 person)."

"I love the Thule but it’s just too bulky for shopping, ect."
"only issue is it takes up a lot of room in the car."
"We bought a Thule urban glide 3 and it’s way better but it is huge and heavy."

I have the one without a full fly and I’m bitter that the fly for this one doesn’t work for mine. I like it! It’s up in a few minutes but if you accidentally bend one of the legs the wrong way you are in for a terrible time unless there are other people to help you. I love the interior, the amount of windows, and that I can stand up inside it. I don’t think it’s as sturdy as some of the competitors and I’ll be upgrading to something higher quality in the next year or so.
Just bought this for our annual camping trip later this week. Put it up in the backyard a few weeks go. Super easy set up and take down. No poles to deal with (except for over the door). Everything is great quality. I’ll come back here after the trip and let you know how it holds up in the rain since some is in the forecast
We never ended up with much rain. Little showers here and there, but the tent stayed dry!
We go camping with kids each year. Just got back from a camping trip in the Northwoods with 6 kids under 10! My daughter is 4 and this was her 5th trip. (Sorry for the long post!!) Definitely 1 big tent or 2 smaller tents with 1 adult in each. Kids tend to wake up throughout the night. We just got a Core 9 person tent and it worked out well for us this year. We use a little potty chair in the tent in case of emergencies. Lots of clothes and all types of weather options because who knows what they might need. Lots of socks because they are somehow always wet. If you are going somewhere with bugs- just go for bug spray with deet straight away. Being covered in deet is better than the kids being covered in swollen mosquito bites (even though it’s inevitable). Bring lots of outdoor activities to keep them busy. Glowsticks, coloring supplies, bug catchers, books, etc. We colored walking sticks and “went fishing” with a rod that had a practice lure (no hook) on it. We always suggest to be flexible and not worry about naps and bed time. The kids will sleep when they are tired and it’s better than fighting with them to take a nap when it’s night in the tent. For safety- don’t let them walk near the fire and make sure to bring a first aid kit with ice packs. For the food cooler- we use frozen ice packs and don’t put ice straight into the cooler. It makes the food less waterlogged and seems to keep things cold for much longer. And the most obvious suggestion- bring lots of snacks 😆
Bought this exact tent in May and put a coat of Scotchguard on the rain fly. Went on a three week trip with zero problems. Rained about a third of the days with 3 or 4 severe storms, no leaks or wind problems. Would buy it again.
Not exaggerating. Our Core 9-person tent is big enough for three cots. We stuff gear under the cots, and have room for a small folding table and chairs in case we need a place to hang out if it's raining.
Had this tent for a few years now and it's holding up well. We always put a heavy tarp between it and the ground. [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VFH1RQS?th=1](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VFH1RQS?th=1)

This is a rainy day setup, hence chair and table inside. Dog is optional, but a nice-to-have 😉
I really like our full rain fly Core 9 tent instant tent. Think it was 350 msrp and we got it on sale like 100 off. Last year.
I’ve had Core instant tents and never had an issue. Easily over 100 nights before any leaking, and I wasn’t taking the best care of it so likely could have lasted longer.
Coleman or core. I’ve used both regularly and in some bad weather without problems. I like core instant tents for the quick setup and breakdown. Coleman Skydome are also great for a mix of dome and cabin style. Will likely want a 8 person or more for the space and headroom.
If you want easy, get a CORE instant tent. The poles telescope and stay attached so it sets up in seconds. If you have a Costco membership, they may still have some set up for you to see. I would go with the 9 person with the 2 kids. It has 2 rooms which would give you tons of space and at least a 6 foot center height. I have the Core 9 person instant cabin tent and LOVE IT! The biggest pro is that I can set it up by myself in about two minutes. That way the other parent can watch the kid and then we’re set up quickly. It’s big enough to stand up in, and we fit a queen + twin mattress in there plus room to move around. It’s big enough for my toddler to play in if it’s rainy. The overhead light is also useful. It was inexpensive for a tent that size, so I wasn’t expecting super high quality, just wanted something easy to set up.
I have the Core instant up tent. All poles are attached. I put it up and take it down myself.
I have the Core 9 person. Set up and take down myself. Love it! Seal the bottom seams though. They will seep in heavy rain otherwise.
I have the 9 person, but it didn't come with that full fly. Setup and takedown is super easy. But now I want one with the full fly!
I have a core instant tent. 9 person and I can put it up and take it down by myself.
I have a CORE 9 Person Instant Cabin Tent that works best with 1 person or a couple.
