"My Kingdome 6 from REI does pretty darn well in western Washington. The full fly is great, and the mudroom is a great accessory."

We have the predecessor to REI's Wonderland which is the very similar "Kingdom 6" and it was fantastic for family camping and easy to make into a glamping palace. The "garage" made an extra porch to sit and eat pancakes in during rain and keep gear sheltered. Rooms have a zip able divider. If you can find one in good shape used it'd probably be inexpensive yet glorious.

It's the tent I own. It's a solid tent, I'd gladly pay that for a second backup or for friends.

My Kingdome 6 from REI does pretty darn well in western Washington. The full fly is great, and the mudroom is a great accessory. I believe they replaced it with the Wonderland. My 6'2 friend can stand up straight in the middle of the tent.

That's not a bad price. I think I paid $250 for a smoker owned Kingdom 6 with Garage and Vestibule that other than the smell was perfect. A couple washes with enzyme soap and I'm back in business. I don't think it will be as roomy as you would like though. We're 2 adults, 4yo and a small dog and it would be sufficient sleeping space but no extra room.

My car-camping tent is a Kingdom 6 from REI. [https://www.rei.com/product/147958/rei-co-op-kingdom-6-tent](https://www.rei.com/product/147958/rei-co-op-kingdom-6-tent) I'd love to replace it with a fabric tent one day, but this one for now is great for my wife, dog, and I for just about every car-camping trip we've ever done. I think it's 10ish years old - have used it at least 100 nights.

The REI Wonderland 6 is an amazing tent. I have an older version (Kingdom 6) and it’s a beast. The tent is not cheap but it will last. Mine has been ridden hard and put away wet (literally) and is nearly as good as day one. I say nearly because my brother in law set it up the last time out prior to me getting there, and he split a pole. Not the tents fault, user error. Easily fixed though and the beast tent lives on!

The BC6 is amazing… it is super durable and easy to set up. At 5’4” you might struggle a little at first with set up, especially in the wind, but once you do it a bunch of times… it is easy to do. (poles are all color coordinated and chorded together. I use it beach camping so it stands up to the wind… and has plenty of mesh to be breezy on those hot days. Given the sale… I would recommend. I really miss the kingdome 6 and 8… it had a built in screen porch side that gave you the choice to have a tent and screen porch all in one. A true glamping tent! If you get it, post photos!

I prefer tents with a full rainfly -- Kelty, some REI, Nemo, Marmot, that Northface Wawona. Many of the cheaper brands have partial rainflys that I don't think cut it as well. My wife and I have the REI Kingdom 6, love it, and have used it for years. I think they call it the wonderland now and it has okay reviews. But its huge and standable and its lasted for tons of fests. Any 6 person tent will be a challenge for 6 people. 4 People would work in a lot of 6p tents but check dimensions. That Nemo Aurora 6 has way smaller dimensions for a 6 person tent than my Kingdom 6. I personally don't think I'd go higher than a 6p tent though, a lot of the bigger ones can be a challenge at some fests and campsites.

We have the earlier version Kingdom 6 and it’s great for room. My hubs can stand up in it 6’3”. It’s seen a fair amount of weather and has done great.

We have a kingdom 6 we still use sometimes and love, but we also added a 10 x 14 Kodiak Canvas VX tent and it is a palace for a family of 4 and 2 dogs. It is a big, heavy, bulky kinda situation - but really comfortable in all conditions we’ve used it in (no snow though, as we’re in Southern California and do most of our camping Spring through Fall).  Aaaand - just remembered to scroll up and check which sub I am in - so disclaimer that Kodiak isn’t sold at REI.
