Please consider increase your budget much would be better - 70mai and DDPAI are mostly recommended. If you park outdoor most of the time and expose to rain/sunlight, get DDPAI dashcam (Super Capacitors battery - More durable/last longer in hot climate in Malaysia - software good). Else, get 70Mai instead too as this is quite popular brand (Lithium battery - software much better). Ddpai z40 yung sakin ok naman siya, madali lang din mag self install, madaming instructional videos sa youtube. Pwede din naman sa fb, maraming installer dun na may reviews, sila pa pupunta sa inyo.

My first one literally puffed up after a few weeks of summer heat. I switched to one that uses a capacitor (mine’s a DDPAI Z40), and it’s been fine since. Dual-channel doesn’t always mean both cameras are useful some rear cams are practically potato quality. Check sample clips on YouTube before buying; I found DDPAI and 70mai videos most reliable for real-world clarity. Don’t underestimate the importance of an easy app. Being able to quickly grab a clip on your phone without taking the SD card out is underrated. And yeah, cable management matters hide the wires properly or it’ll bug you every day. I’m still new to this stuff, but after a few months I’d say: focus on reliability and heat resistance over fancy features. The peace of mind alone is worth it.

While I completely agree with your friend. Maybe consider the warranty as well? Someone posted last week na yung ddpai z40 niya lumubo after 1 year and 3 months (out of warranty). I myself have ddpai z50 and z40 with rear cams. Malinaw ang nababasa yung plate ng car sa harap kahit walang streetlights

Kung de-battery, mas malaki chance na masira agad pag laging naiinitan. Mas mainam yung capacitor-based na dadhcam. DDpai user ako since oct 2018, hanggang ngayon buhay pa yung mini2p ko. Then yung Z40 ko 3 years na okay pa rin. Open din yung parking space ko sa pay parking.

DDPai Z40 gamit ko. Front and back na yun at capacitor-type na rin ang battery kaya walang risk na lolobo. Available din ang hardwire kit kung gusto mo nagrerecord pa rin kahit nakapark.

DDPai Z40 pasok sa budget mo. Yan din ang gamit ko ngayon for 3 years na. nagamit ko na rin footage nung minsang may sumaging lasing na biker sakin.
