I’ve got dark tint on my car too and had the same concern about whether a dash cam could record clearly at night. I went with the DDPAI Z50 Pro and was honestly impressed. The night footage is sharp even through the tint, and it handles glare and headlights way better than I expected. The camera turns on automatically with the car, and I used their OBD hardwire kit for parking mode, but USB works just fine too. It’s sleek enough to stay out of sight behind the mirror and the setup was super simple. If you’re looking for something that just works and holds up well with tinted windows, it’s definitely worth checking out.
r/Dashcam • Dark tint and dash cams ->I have a Ddpai Z50 Pro 4k front, 1080p rear i got from pbtech, it works very well. It was cheap enough to buy but cost an arm and a leg to get it professionally installed.
r/auckland • Dash Cam Advice ->My take on this is that no matter what security system you put in place you won't stop someone that is determined to break in. Here are the specs on my one with regards to its parking monitor/alerts [https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/CARDDP1011/DDPai-Z50-PRO-DUAL-2160P-front--1080P-rear-dashcam](https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/CARDDP1011/DDPai-Z50-PRO-DUAL-2160P-front--1080P-rear-dashcam)

r/CarsPH • Dashcam : anong dashcam ang malinaw ngayon at pasok sa budget ? Ano ang trusted brand ? And ano b dpt specs ng dashcam ->Switched to a capacitor-based dashcam (Z50 pro) few months ago after my old battery one kept crapping out in the summer heat. So far it's been great, starts up fast, no random shutdowns, and the video quality is solid. But I'm curious about the long game. Do these capacitor units actually hold up better long-term, or do they eventually start having issues too? I'm in a pretty hot area and my car sits outside all day, so I'm wondering if anyone who's had one for a year or more can share how it's holding up: \- Still working as well as day one, or noticing any degradation? \- Any heat-related weirdness after extended use? \- Which model do you have, and did you hardwire it or just use the plug? Basically trying to figure out if I made a good call switching to capacitor or if I'm just delaying the inevitable replacement cycle. Thanks for any insights!
r/Dashcam • Anyone running a capacitor dash cam for over a year? ->DDPai Z50 Pro. Well priced and does a good job, night time footage is clear and the parking mode works well, 4K front and 1080p rear. Got mine for $160, and an extra $40 for the hard wire kit, both off Aliexpress. Installation was $0 as I did it myself.
r/auckland • Dash Cam Advice ->I bought a better dashcam instead of this one, the DDPAI Z50 Pro, I was recommended by a friend.

r/CarsAustralia • Best dashcams in Australia that cost less than $250? Or should I just get a BlackVue one for $1.5k? ->Go with the [DDPAI dual 4K](https://amzn.eu/d/hcOjMcH), I have it and I’m very happy with it , also it has tracking features,AI etc. You can grab one on Amazon, but make sure to also get the [official hard wiring kit](https://amzn.eu/d/eKulTr1)if you want 24/7 recording, even when the car is off. You will need professional installation i did it in a car garage in DIP2.
r/DubaiPetrolHeads • Dash cam suggestions please? ->Dppai have dual dashcam options. I own ddpai dashcam costs around 8k. I regret not buying rear dashcam now
r/CarsIndia • Is this dashcam worth buying? ->I had this 70mai then faced issues. Dppai is serving good fr last 1.5 yrs.
r/CarsIndia • Is this dashcam worth buying? ->If you want a dash cam that records both front and back go for VIOFO A229 Pro 4K HDR. These days I am using the VIOFO A119 Mini 2 in my car. It’s cure and small, works well, enough for what I need. You would need to get it connected it to the 12V car socket and you can do it yourself just watch some youtube videos. I think this is the trusted seller [https://amzn.to/4kWj7Z5](https://amzn.to/4kWj7Z5) my wifey have DDPAI 4K Dash Cam, also quite good for outdoor specially in these days heat, check online I found this with quick google search [https://amzn.to/4n8wSVU](https://amzn.to/4n8wSVU) good luck, dont forget to share which one u selected
