For a sports coupe I get why you would want something that does not stand out. A lot of dash cams look bulky or flashy which can ruin the clean interior. I have been running a DDPAI N5 Dual and it blends in really well. The body is very small with no screen, so once it is tucked near the mirror you forget it is even there. It records front and rear with clear detail day and night, and the built in 32GB eMMC storage means you still have footage even if the microSD card fails. The radar assisted parking mode has been a bonus since it wakes up only when needed without draining the battery. If you prefer a front only setup, the DDPAI Z60 is another option. It is all black so it disappears by the mirror, and 4K UHD resolution with a wide angle view has been great for everyday driving. The Z60 Pro steps it up further with Sony STARVIS 2 on the front camera, so if low light plate clarity is a top priority that might be worth a look. Both setups have been very discreet which is exactly what I wanted.

Works great

Been through a couple dash cams over the years. What I’ve stuck with is the DDPAI Z60 Pro. It’s been solid. Front and rear, super clear both day and night. Plates come out sharp even in bad lighting. It uses Sony STARVIS 2 sensors, front cam is true 4K, and the app doesn’t make you fight to get your footage. I’ve got it hardwired with their OBD kit and parking mode’s been reliable without killing my battery. If you want something that lasts and you don’t have to mess with every few months, this one’s worth a look.

Got a DDPAI Z60 Pro installed on my Jimny, yun 3 channel. So far very happy naman, i purchased it via Lazada, then had it installed by someone who knows what they’re doing. App was user friendly as well.

I use their cam too, I would say you can try Z60 pro, cuz you can pair it with their Mini2X cam to make it a full 3-channel setup. I’ve got three kids myself, but normally one older sits on the front, and added the cabin cam mostly for peace of mind. Now I can just review the footage instead of turning into a contortionist at every red light 😅 Definitely made my rides a lot less stressful. Super clean install, and the interior cam is actually really solid (2K res, decent low light).

Have the ddpai z50, napakalinaw kahit gabi. Try to get the z60 triple cam. (Back, front &,inside) Madali lng sya ikabit halos plug n play lng.

For me, mas ok pag may separate screen at hindi nakasabit sa rearview mirror. Binili ko ay DDPai Z60 Pro. Maganda quality nya hehe kahit gabi.

I get what you mean, I prefer the small screenless cams too and just pull up the clips on my phone when I need them.On e that has worked well for me is the DDPAI N5 Dual. It is really small and hides up by the mirror, no screen at all, and records 4K on the front with 1080P on the rear. The app is straightforward for checking or saving clips, and it even has 32GB of built in storage as a backup in case the SD card fails. The radar assisted parking mode only wakes up when needed so it does not drain the battery. If you only want a front cam, the DDPAI Z60 is another good choice. All black body, true 4K, very discreet, and again you manage everything through the app. Both have been solid if you want a setup that blends in and does not clutter the interior.

I started out thinking the same way as you, that a front cam alone would be enough. It definitely covers most situations, but after a small rear-end tap in traffic that was clearly the other driver’s fault, I realized how useful a rear cam can be. Having both angles just makes it easier if you ever need to prove what happened. A friend recommended DDPAI to me and I went with the Z60 Pro. The front camera shoots true 4K with Sony STARVIS 2 so details stay sharp, and it pairs with a rear cam for solid coverage. It even lets you add a third cam if you want, which has been handy for parking lot incidents. The parking mode has already caught one person brushing my bumper while backing out, which paid for itself right away. If budget is tight you could start with just the front, but honestly if you can stretch for both front and rear you will thank yourself later.

Garmin is fine but yeah you do pay a premium for the name. If you want strong performance without the markup, I would look at DDPAI. The Z60 Pro gives you 4K front with Sony STARVIS 2 and HDR plus 1080P rear, and you can add an 2K interior cam with their πlink system. Parking mode is smart too since it shuts down before draining your battery. If you want something smaller and screenless, the N5 Dual hides well by the mirror, records 4K front and 1080P rear, and even has 32GB of built in backup storage. Both have been really solid alternatives people mention a lot.

1. I got a DDDPAI Z60 pro on my BYD but regret it because 4K is overkill for a dashcam and the software features are just not that well designed. The 1440p Viofo I have on my Civic is way better in terms of usability and features. Both use a Sony starvis sensor so excellent low light quality. 2.Heather Dashcam and Car accessories (Facebook) - I think they have a shop in Marikina but they did a homeservice install for mine. What's cool about them is that they accept installation of dashcams even if you bought it from somewhere else like shopee. Their technician knew his stuff, I asked him a bunch of questions (since I have experience installing dashcams myself). Paid only ₱900 for a hardwire installation via OBD kit, and gave the guy a tip because I could tell he's an expert and did everything with care exactly the way I would install my own dashcam.
