Nextbase - iQ (4K)

I got the Nextbase IQ 4K, it's connected with OBD port or hard-wired battery and the image is very nice (I don't have samples on my phone) Buuuut : Parking watching requires the suscription Said suscription allows for 4G connection, downloading videos or uploading events automatically to Nextbase cloud. Parking detection is not perfect but I already have both of my neighbor hitting my door, grabbed on camera (Viva España I guess, apparently it's normal here) Ho, and front item + back cam goes to 800€ without suscription Feel free to ask me questions if you're curious

I have a camera thats plugs on the OBD for parking mode (powered without car contact). My Nextbase IQ 4K was way too expensive but having it plugged in he OBD is an "official way" to plug so should not be an argument for the insurance company

If you want parking notifications get the nextbase IQ 4k. You have to pay monthly for the lte service if you want to get notifications when you’re not around if someone does something and you can check on it live from anywhere sort of like a door bell cam. It’s super crisp as well. Worth it for a 50k car in my opinion. Or Drone XC LTE looks super oem and has the same features but I’m not sure if you also have to have a compustar remote start/alarm as well.

I use Nextbase iQ 4k which has parking mode plus LTE.

What model do you have because I got the next base IQ after my 622 gave me trouble

I have a Nextbase IQ, but a lot of people like the WolfBox.

NextBase models. Can be hardwired to the interior fusebox also. I have the NextBase iQ, although bulky, in real world driving It doesn’t bother me at all. Best feature for me is Live View and instant notifications if someone even walks remotely near the car 😂 Front and Rear Cams, as well as interior cam

I've got a 4K Nextbase that's been pretty dependable. A lot of dash cams have a problem and really hot weather, but that's not brand specific.

Toyota branded Nextbase unit, installed by dealer. Quality is only average but the install is very neat (no visible wires at all) and the camera easily clips in and out. There's a Toyota Dashcam app to view it or you can take out the SD card or the whole camera and connect to pc.
