ROVE - R3

Yes you need one that covers front, cabin and rear. I have that with the Rove R3. I have a install video should you want to see it.

This one sits up high enough to where you run 99% of the wire through the headliner and the cars interior trim pieces. How much wire you see will depend on how long you hide it on the windshield. I have it on all three of my vehicles, we just bought a dump truck and we’re going to install one on there as well since it records, front and the cab as well as a camera facing the rear of the vehicle.

I use two Rove R3 both in my own car and company vehicle +antiglare lenses as well. So far, so good, decent quality.

I got a rove3 for mine it’s got front cam rear cam and cabin cam with audio and it has a hardwire kit for 24hr surveillance you can look through like a ring doorbell. And it has bump crash or nudge activation! You’re welcome US Mopars Gotta Stick Together 🫡🫡🫡

From other people who have posted and where I've read from other sources the answer would be no. You better off with aftermarket. I have the Rove r3 and it's worth flawlessly.

I really like and have the ROVE R3 in my car. I also installed the ROVE R2-4K DUAL in my wife's car and it does a good job. These camera's work best with the hardwire kit. I've recommended the R2 to several friends and so far no complaints.

May not be the actual dash cam. If you are using a sunshade, the reflective heat from the sunshade can cause the camera to get very hot when parked since most people place the dash cam in front of the sunshade. I live in the SFV and have had this happen in the past. Under normal use and assuming proper placement, most decent midrange dashcams should not overheat, even with parking mode enabled. My current dash cam is the ROVE R3. Hope this helps and good luck!

Rove 3. Available direct or on Amazon Get a mirror dongle from dongar technology. Will power the camera from the mirror cluster. Quick, clean install. Already paid for itself sever times over with one incident.

I have the Rove R3. It was easy to install. The only hard part was the rear camera cord getting through the raceway that connects to the tailgate. There are several YouTube vids that will guide you through it.

I’ve had the Rove R3 for about two years. No issues with the dash cam, works well. They have improved the app but I think it runs better on android phones.

I have a Rove R3. It’s a 3 channel dash cam. I have no complaints. The new version of the R2 is 4k front and rear. The app is ok, I believe it works better on android phones than on iPhone.

You can buy a CPL filter for the rove, I bought one for my R3 and it does help with the brightness. Project farm also rated red tiger and cool crazy above the rove. I’ve never heard of cool crazy and if you do a search on here for red tiger, you’ll find many people don’t like it. I think for the money the rove is a good choice. You can also use the Amazon basics micro sd card for rove, it’s a recommended alternative from them.

I’ll add that I’ve had the R3 for almost 2 years and have never had an issue with the dash cam.
