Vantrue - Element 1 Pro (E1 Pro)

I just installed a Vantrue E1 pro on my truck. Paired with Dongar 3 pin connector that uses the rear view mirror power. Easiest install I ever done.

I use the VanTrue E1 Pro. Got it for $99 bucks a few days ago on Prime Day. It’s small enough that I mounted it right at the base of the rear view mirror. Can’t even see it at all during driving and it hasn’t affected the EyeSight system at all.

I got the Vantrue E1 Pro for my gf and it only took about 15 minutes to set up since she didn’t need parking mode. It’s really compact and records in 4K, which is nice. Might be worth checking out some YouTube video to see how it looks once installed.

Vantrue E1 Pro it's square shaped with a small built-in screen, really compact and unobtrusive. I powered mine through the cigarette lighter, so the installation was super easy. you should definitely check out some youtube video to see how it actually look installed.

Vantrue E1 Pro is a solid choice for a front dash cam under 150 bucks. It records in 4K with a Starvis2 sensor, making details like license plates much clearer. It's compact and super easy to install, just plug it into the cigarette lighter and you're good to go. I have the VanTrue E1 Pro wired into the rear view mirror (with a wiring harness sold separately on Amazon). It was about $180 all in (camera, 256 GB SD card, and harness).

Not going to lie - it was more difficult than I expected in my ND3 RF, but still very doable. I scratched up the housing a bit and did break a tab, but it still went back together and doesn't rattle. The scratches are in an area I can't see when sitting in the seat, so they don't bother me. Also I believe the replacement parts from Mazda are pretty cheap, if you do end up breaking it. If you look through the comments on my profile from about a month ago, I commented on an older thread that has some discussion, videos, and replacement parts numbers when I was installing mine.

I am running a Vantrue E1 Pro in mine. It is slightly more expensive than the Viofo, but it is absolutely tiny - as in I literally cannot see it at all behind the rear view mirror. I also wired it into the rear view mirror so there are no cables running through the cabin.

I have a 2025 ES350 and am happy with the Vantrue E1 Pro which records in 4k and has really good image quality even at night. * From the driver's seat I can see <10% of the bottom of it based on where I mounted it. * It is not distracting as there is a setting which disables the screen.
