"They have mapping and self-emptying, which for me are absolutely essential features. ... We've had others without the self-emptying feature and I never emptied them regularly enough, which rendered them less effective."
"Best use for me is for sausages, can get up in the morning, chuck them in there for 13 minutes and they’re done without having to tend to them."
"I think we have the ninja foodie 10 in 1 oven thing and we've only used our real oven like twice since we got it and that was entirely because the pizza was too big. ... There's something great about being like "yes, cook my burrito at 400 for 29 minutes and then shut off" that makes it so useful. Well setup food and not worry at all about it being done because it always is. ... But really being able to setup the oven and just let the timer handle it is the bees knees."

"If you can spend money get a Viofo and enjoy high quality videos ... So practically I have 8mp IMX678 sensor on front camera and 5mp IMX675 sensor on back camera which is all other brands put on front cameras (Rove, Xiaomi etc.) even it is Starvis 2 new sensor it ’s still a 5mp. So back camera performance on Viofo is similar to top brands new dashcams front camera ... Top of the line sensor with 8mp and Stravis IMX 678 sensor - image quality is perfect. ... because I want not just dash cam for the sake of having dash cam, but also best image quality therefore I spend more. ... For now I ’m happy with video quality"
"The number plates are visible in night as well."
"Excellent on all those fronts."

"I bought one after I got hit by a car on my Harley in a hit and run, and then I ran accidents here in my area and found that a large majority are hit and run. Ive also had someone try to lie when I was T boned years and years ago."
"If someone calls the police on you and it's their word against yours, you might lose in court. And not just traffic court. You can be charged criminally ( depending on that person's "story" ). If that happens, it will be months of stress, thousands on a lawyer and you still might lose. No license to get to and from work, thousands in fines, sued civilly, and angry for 10 years with much higher insurance premiums. ... Whenever there's an incident, save the recording on your PC incase someone tries to blame you etc."
"It, actually just saved my ass and paid for itself several times over. A dump truck failed to merge and took out my right quarter panel."

"The Vantrue N2 Pro is solid, especially if you want something with a front and rear camera—great for Uber or Lyft drivers too."
"Also I do wanna say that I did have a passenger that projectile vomited and I did catch it on video."
"And yes, one with audio. ... Any model that captures audio and video both ways is fine."

"not worth it for the sheer size of the Foodi. It's a beast and very heavy. ... Yeah this is the same reason I don't really use my Foodi."
"Was bulk and weight that chased me away from self inflators years ago. ... I find the selfinflating foam so comfortable, more so than than air mats, but it's 790 grams, very bulky and just 3.8r. Can't justify it."
"that thing is so bulky and sits in the cabinet below the counter, I want to keep keep one on the counter…."
Vantrue N2 Pro with an odb2 power source.
I use a Vantrue N2 Pro, but the N4s are out now. It's worked great for at least a year.
Not bad, I'm ordering one now. My dashcam is a venture n2 pro with a GPS mount but the cord is only 3feet. The 12v power outlet under the radio stopped working last year. I haven't found a cable long enough with a micro USB connection.
I second vantrue. Just hardwired it today to the fuse box. Has Bluetooth download for videos.
Link? Now that my dad no longer drives for Uber, a Viofo is in the list when his VanTrue N2 Pro(they call it the Uber model) dies. I have it installed wirh a Dongar adapter.
If you're thinking about getting a dash cam, I’d say go for one that’s easy to use and gives good video quality. Like, you don't want grainy footage, right? A couple of good options are the Vantrue N2 Pro and the Nextbase 522GW. The Vantrue N2 Pro is solid, especially if you want something with a front and rear camera—great for Uber or Lyft drivers too. The quality’s awesome, and it has night vision, which is super handy. On the other hand, the Nextbase 522GW is packed with cool tech like Alexa built-in and a touchscreen. Plus, it's got this neat Emergency SOS feature, just in case. For budget-friendly stuff, check out the Anker Roav Dash Cam—it’s simple, easy, and gets the job done without breaking the bank. Just make sure it has loop recording (so it overwrites old footage) and parking mode, so you're covered when the car’s off. Oh, and don’t forget to grab a good memory card too!
Mine is old; been using it for 4 yrs - Vantrue N2 Pro (front and cabin). I got footage when they broke into my car. I was lucky they left my tape deck and the Creedence
VanTrue N2 Pro. This is by far the best choice in my opinion.
Vantrue N2 Pro. Any model that captures audio and video both ways is fine. You’ll need an SD card as well.
Define cheap for people to make a recommendation. I have a Vantrue N2 that was around $199 and it works great for me.
