Vantrue - N4

I use [this one.](https://a.co/d/3YvL4tf) It’s been extremely reliable for the past year of ownership. It has a front cam, interior cam with IR for nighttime recordings and rear-view camera for your rear protection. Quality of the video has been great; you can definitely make out the license plate numbers. Also was pretty easy to install as they give you the lever you need to run the cable through your car. And also if you go with this one, make sure to apply the $40 coupon in your cart.

Just bought this one last year and it’s been great so far! https://a.co/d/7boa6ie It captured a baseball sized rock that shattered my front sunroof. Never saw it myself, but after seeing the video it helped with insurance to cover it as non human related, so it didn’t raise my premium. The cables tuck away well in the liners and it’s nearly invisible. Even the one routed all the way to the rear.

I have the Viofo A229 Pro and can highly recommend it. I also think the A229 Plus will probably be more than enough but if you're willing to spend the money, the Pro is worth it. I watched a (german) comparison video of a few different dashcams and the Thinkware U3000 was one of the worst in terms of license plate identification. The best ones were the A229 Pro and the Vantrue N400. Therefore, don't buy the Thinkware, it's not worth the money.

I think you can't go wrong with a Vantrue and if you'd like a 4 channel dashcam it looks pretty good. I would give it a go

yung sakin kasi basic lang na N2 na may Rear Camera tapos ako na din nag install, nabili ko lang din sa Shopee mall, though nakikita ko may mga pwesto na sila sa mga malls like Trinoma or SM north, check mo if may malapit na inyo. its serves its purpose naman though may mga higher models you can check it out. For SD card, I checked and Shoppe ko lang sya din nabili , SanDisk Max Endurance for 1.1k, ito pa lang tumatagal sakin na SD Card funny ang dami ko pala nabiling sd card na tig 300, 200 sa shopee dahil laging nageeror mag recording

I love my vantrue. They appear to have the most advanced optical system Starvis 2. Some new software that uses AI(?) to accurately read the plates. Mine is the np4 pro. 3 channel. And a Bluetooth remote emergency video save control.

VanTrue N4 4K 3-channel. Have had mine for a few years here now and zero issues.

Also chiming in on VanTrue. I've used the N4 4K 3-channel dashcam for about 4-5 years now. Not a single issue, even the suction cup stays on in the intense heat.

I got a Vantrue last year. They had good sales. I've got a 3 camera version, but only use the front camera currently. I turned off the cabin camera to conserve storage space. It also wasn't good for my marriage when I suggested we look at the tape to resolve a discussion we were having about who said what to whom. So now I have it turned off. I can turn it back on with voice commands if I ever needed to if we were being stopped or something.

Not worth it. Get a high end 4k dash cam. I have a 3 channel dash cam (vantrue n4, 3 channel) that was $350-400 NEW. Put in the time and labor to hardwire it ($90) and you have something WAY less expensive than the dealership charge. F that. Buy aftermarket and get what you need, a 3 channel dash cam. Saved my buttore than once.

Any dashcam that you can afford. I bought my van true n4 3 channel dash cam when it was the newest. Worth the money. Got my dad one as well. It's worth getting something to protect yourself. Just buy the best you can and upgrade later.
