VIOFO - A119 Mini V1

I use Viofo 119 mini for the front camera and the 119 v3 for the rear camera. The whole setting costs less that $200 total when on sale. I prefer the smaller one up front so that it occupies less of my windshield. I bough a long usb C cable and run it from the middle console, under the floor mats, to the rear window. It sucks that the new Highlander doesn't have a 12v or an usb port in the trunk area.

I have a garmin mini 3. It takes great video but its slow to connect to from your phone via wifi. I have a viofo a119 mini in another car but I don't think the angle would be right for a rear dash cam. I’ve got a viofo 119 mini in mine. I wired it to the outlet in the passenger footwell and tucked the wire into the trim (pulled the a pillar). Great cam and you can’t tell it’s there.

I got a VIOFO A119 mini. It was easy to set up and it had some pretty nice picture quality. I’ve been pretty happy with it. That app you pull the recording off of is simple but that’s all you need really. I didn’t get the hardwire kit so mine turns on and off with the car. This model is tiny and is easily obscured by my mirror so it’s not annoying to have around.

Yes it is. The dashcam will give you some piece of mind. I use the A119 mini though. I've also been meaning to share my experience with Viofo but never eventually got to it, hence I am gonna use this thread. I purchased a dashcam for my 2nd vehicle based on reviews from this sub. I won't deny that I had minor problems (the dashcam would shut down after a few hours but still record). The reason I still vouch for Viofo was the experience with their after sales service. As soon as I reported the issue, their dealer in the UAE, Ludhiana LLC was very proactive, offered troubleshooting options and when that didn't work, asked for the dashcam back, ran tests extracted logs and resolved the problem - which was due to a firmware update.

That's crazy. I had been thinking of doing it at one point, but decided to DIY. Bought a Dongar adapter to plug into the digital rear view mirror and a viofo A119 mini. Paid like $150 total and it's up and running.

I have a VIOFO A119 mini in my ascent. Have not had any issue with Subaru eyesight. I ran the wire in the seams and it hides them well. You may be able to get an adapter to hook power into the rear view mirror.

The Viofo A119 Mini and the A229 2 channel are currently on sale at Amazon for $85.99 and $159.99. This matches their typical sales price during Prime Day. I bought the A229 2 channel last year and it's been great. The only thing you also need to buy is the Sandisk Max Endurance microSD card or the Viofo branded version. I opted for the Sandisk.

I use Viofo A119 mini for front and NEXDIGITRON ACE 2 for rear. Viofo is another league, no complaints at all. ACE 2 is also great. Overall cost was 20k for both. I got supercapacitor (in both) and starvis 2(in front). Pretty happy w my setup.

In descending order of quality: 1. Viofo a119 v3, a119 mini or a129 plus duo. A229 and above are overkill. 2. Sjcam m60 3. Ddpai mini 2x or z40 (if you need duals) If you need 3 channels, wolfbox x5 is the best in its price range. But I dont recommend it if you frequent rough roads
