"Can't see it at all! ... it is 100% hidden away. ... if it wasn't for seeing the bottom .25" of the back camera you wouldn't know it's there"
"Super easy. ... Took about 20-30 minutes"
"It looks super clean and OEM."

"My dashcam is 18 months old and still going strong. ... We have strong summers and winters but not crazy bad."

"I asked for a 128gb card rather than a discount. And they complied. It got here in a week through free shipping. 128gb is perfect."
"Had an issue installing on a 2025 limited but had live tech support through website chat. ... Tech Definitely knew the instal and had helpful advice."
"When I made the order, their customer service contacted me to take a picture of the shroud around the rear view mirror just to make sure they sent the correct parts - good customer service, IMHO!"

"It plugs right into the power source for the lane assist and hides inside the housing for it so I can basically just forget it’s there until I need to grab a clip."

"It seems like you can’t access the videos remotely. You either have to turn on the car with your phone close by or remove the SD card and use the supplied reader to see the videos. I may be wrong but I haven’t found a way to do this remotely."
"I struggled with the software though. ... My WiFi wouldn't connect and when it did it would disconnect alot. ... The troubleshooting steps said to download a different sw and that worked for me."
"Also when you’re viewing the live video through the app, it doesn’t record at the same time. Once you stop live viewing, will it resume recording."

"it didn’t really fit the 991.2 ... none of them actually lined up. they all sort of sat “inside” the remaining oem housing half ... the big problem is because the fitcam housing was smaller there was no sane way to run the wiring. ... see how the fitcam opening is small? it is fully blocked by the mirror mount so you cant get wires through."
"my rear cam is still sitting in the box. ... I haven't had the guts to try running the wire yet. ... My main worries are getting around the airbags in the front pillars, and then where to put all the excess wire when I get to the back."
"It wasn’t as easy as the videos have you believe. Mainly, the two wires for the front and rear cameras are thick and they make the installation a little tricky. You need to find a groove on the left side of the mirror stem to tuck them in before you can clasp the two halves together."

"Only con would be that it doesn’t record when the car is off because of its power source."

"Average picture - pretty good during the day, oversaturation at night might prevent LIC plates from being readable"
"The rear is a bit fuzzy at night even at the highest resolution"

FITCAMX dashcam (looks like it belongs to the car) Also bought a wireless AirPlay dongle, worked well BUT: my Waze navigation did not display in the instrument cluster, so had to ditch it :(
FitCamX. Install is pretty easy and it integrates very well. I have one on my 2022 and it works well. It’s interface to connect a phone to it to download videos is a bit clunky (it creates its own WiFi hotspot that you connect to), but you can always just pull the SD card to download videos if needed.
We got an integrated dashcam for my wife's bolt. We replaced the stick-on dashcam. The installation was much easier than I thought it was gonna be. you pop out the original plastic cover, connect the plug and play harness and push the new dashcam integrated cover on and done. I am not sure I am allowed to post a link so I am just gonna put it in the comment.
Better than the stick on one I got. It's clear at night and day. No complaints so far. Loop recording at 3mins. But I did change out the tf card though, I didn't want the card to go corrupt.
As others have stated look to the FitcamX. Or better yet its unbranded equivalent from AliExpress, it works great, seamless integration and can still use the FitcamX software.
I've had mine installed for a year and no battery draining issues. I even have the rear cam option and it doesn't cause battery draining issues
It was a bit challenging to install and get all the cables back in the right place. Downloading videos isn’t straightforward. But once installed you don’t notice it, and the video quality is good enough. I would buy it again.
Rear cam looks ugly tho
I've been using it in my 2023 Hyundai Kona for a few months now, good video quality and loving the integrated look! Download speeds in the app is low, but i just remove the SD card and plug it into my computer for export. Highly recommend.
This is the way! I installed it on my 24 night edition with the rear camera option. Have had it about a year now. No complaints
I have fitcamx in mine, and VIOFOs in the other cars
