Bonavita 1900 tastes better because it has a better water distribution. And it’s half the price.
r/BuyItForLife • What's the best no-frills coffee maker? ->Bonavita 8 Cup Coffee Maker, One-Touch (BV1900TS) When we first got it 10+ years ago I tasted the difference immediately. Note that I am not a coffee efficianado (coffee to me falls into 3 groups - 10% awful, 10% exceptional, 80% tastes the same) and we were using mediocre pre-ground supermarket coffee. Cleaning is simply washing the carafe and running a cleaner (vinegar or decalcifier) through it every few months. Best of all is the price - less than $200.
r/BuyItForLife • What is the best drip coffee maker currently in the market? ->Damn that’s nice. My bonavita 1900ts won’t die even after a decade.
r/BuyItForLife • Ok, so we bit the bullet... You guys were right. ☕ ☕ ->I go to Premium on Route 5 in Lackawanna and get their whole bean Costa Rican coffee. It's damn good. But their Venetian is very similar to Tim Horton's. I just have a regular drip machine by Bonavita, but I use Brita water and still descale regularly. I also have the Oxo burr grinder that lets you really adjust the fineness/coarseness of the beans so you can get exactly what you want.
r/Buffalo • Coffee recommendations ->Bonavita is my personal favorite drip coffee maker. Italian machine that comes with a thermal carafe, coffee pot so that it can keep your coffee warm without a heater. Not sure what the technology is like now but mine has a couple of drip style options when it comes to how the water falls onto your coffee grinds. Can find them for less than 200 for a 8 cup coffee pot, or less than 100 for a 5 cup coffee pot.
r/BuyItForLife • Best device to make a pot of coffee? ->Second the Bonavita Thermal Carafe brewer. Half the cost of the Mochamaster and 99% of people wouldn't be able to distinguish a cup from one or the other. Fresh beans and a good grinder matter WAY more than picking between two very good brewers.
r/JamesHoffmann • What would be the best drip coffee machine? ->I had a Bonavita, traded up to a Moccamaster, and a few months later, went back to the Bonavita. Don't believe the hype.
r/BuyItForLife • Is a Moccamaster worth it if one isn't a huge detailed coffee person? ->Bonavita w/ thermal carafe
r/BuyItForLife • What's the best no-frills coffee maker? ->I have one of these and it's still going strong after a decade of use. The thermal carafe is nice. Keeps coffee hot for a long time and doesn't burn it because there's no heating element. It has one button on it, so operation couldn't be easier.
r/BuyItForLife • What's the best no-frills coffee maker? ->Have had my Bonavita, the insulated one, for 12 years now used twice a day. Offers the same certification and temps as mochamaster and looks like a very simple coffee pot. Descale it once a year and looks the same as the day I bought it.
r/BuyItForLife • Coffee machine for life? (or at least a few years) ->Bonavita 8 cup drip is what I settled on. It has an on button.
r/BuyItForLife • What's the best no-frills coffee maker? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
