Exellent !  I'll also be facing easing into returning to work though not for a while. My scooters a bit of a bashed up old dog so I'll be buying something soon. The DT2 pro would be top of my wish list but not sure I can spare that much. Maybe a Joyor S10 sz but the tubed tires put me off.  Sure is difficult making a decision and pulling the trigger. I've been procrastinating for a month and still no closer to deciding.  Cheers 👍

Was able to return it and reordered the ausom DT2 PRO instead. Working great right now. Still waiting on my partial refund from klarna though.

Just bought mine and have been riding it for a week now. The DT2 Pro has much better feeling brakes and work better than the L2 Max dual motor I had but they sent me a lemon and got it shipped back and got the DT2 Pro. It's also my first scooter but just be careful on your first couple of rides because you definitely have to get used to it if you're using both motors. I live in Chicago and have been using it for work this week and commute a combined 14 miles and it has been great so far. Once you start going faster though turn up the eabs braking and you can feel it kick in. But after 14 miles of keeping it in race mode and dual motor damn near the whole time I still have three bars left and I weigh 165 lbs. I also have an e-bike but it kind of sucks because now I'm just using this now to get around and I love my bike but it's not as convenient to up and just go.

If you ride longer distances or tackle steep hills go for the DT2 Pro

Ausom dt-2 pro is where my money would go. I'm a current rider of a ZT3 pro and I like it but I need higher performance. Get it for under a stack nowadays

Ausom has UL certified batteries. It also wasn't confirmed the scooter caused the fire even though it there's a good chance it was given the conditions. Left it out in rain, it stopped working, then left it plugged in for a week. Lol

I asked them for the certificate, and this is the link to the google doc they sent me. Cant find any information about STE testing Lab in China, emailed them again to provide clarification to see if STE is a recognized testing lab, because I cannot find Ausom or shenzhen magic wheel technology listed in UL database. Then again, I couldnt find quite a few other big scooter brands that advertise UL certs. Still would like to give them the benefit of the doubt though, even best buy is selling Ausom scooters now. If not, I am going to return the DT2 pro I just bought, as fun as it is, its not worth the risk. I got the Ausom DT 2 about a week ago, really impressed by the build quality, getting 30 miles of range going 31mph, it is such a thrill to ride.

Dt2 is a good first scooter. This will prevent you from having to spend another 1000 to 2000 dollars on another scooter to scratch that speed itch. My first scooter was a segway g2 max. I LOVE IT TO DEATH..... but the top speed is 22 mph.... i spent 600 dollars on it, then spent 1750 dollars on my current scooter which is the maxfun 10 pro...... So all in all i spent WELL over 2k on 2 scooters when i could have been like you and just spent ~1k on 1 (btw i lowkey wish I started off with your scooter or the L2 max)

The DT2 Pro is about 150$ over my budget right now but it does look good. Specs similar to the Kukirin G2 Master but about 200W more power, ~10 kph higher top speed, and almost double the range. The range is a nice thing to have so I’ll consider it if I can pull an extra 150$ out of somewhere
