Nami Electric - Burn-E Viper

This is coming from someone that has two Nami burn e max 2s 40 ah, a burn e max 35 ah and a wolf king gt. I’m pretty sure I owned another 7 or 8 before these

I just paid $2k for a low miles used Nami Burn E Viper. 60mph, 50ah battery = massive range 100+ miles. Upgraded tires, carbon fiber deck, Gen 2 display, Gen 2 steering stabilizer. Maybe shop around and find one that somebody wants to sell. Buy one from a dealer who operates a brick and mortar store instead of spinning the wheel and taking your chances with being scammed online. I did buy a used e scooter and I am happy with the deal I got. I then needed basic service for my Nami Burn E Viper. I found a local to me store in Houston called Rent E Boards. There are multiple locations for this company but I only know the Houston guys. You can go to their shop and see various models and styles of e scooters, e bikes (Surron and others), One wheels, and Unicycles in person. You can test drive the equipment. They service what they sell and they gladly serviced my Nami Burn E Viper even though I did not purchase it from them. I bought a used scooter and got myself a smokin’ deal on a super nice e scooter but if I was going to buy a new PEV, I would absolutely buy it from them for the sales and service after the sale. Maybe you can find such a store near your area but if not, the store in Houston will sell to you online as well. Highly recommend rent e boards in Houston for sales and service. You can absolutely avoid getting scammed by finding a local brick and mortar shop to make your purchase with much less worry. Yamaha TW200 is what I recommend for that distance of a commute. I own a 60mph e scooter and its range exceeds 130 miles (mine has 50ah battery). That said, the big Nami Burn E can easily make the round trip but the Yamaha is much safer and more resilient in conditions other than sunny and no wind. If you live in San Diego or Santa Barbara, you might get away with it on an e scooter, but in the real world with rain a reality, a 20+ mile round trip commute is a big stretch unless conditions and road types are 100% in your favor. I bought my Nami Burn E Viper second hand for $2k on FBM in Houston. Never rode any kind of e scooter prior to meeting some dude at a BestBuy and taking it for a test ride. Then I paid him the $2k and took it home. The dude I bought it from made the following upgrades before selling it to me: Carbon fiber deck Longer carbon fiber handlebar 2nd gen display 2nd gen steering stabilizer 50ah battery Upgraded to PMT tires I bought it in January and have put 500 miles on it riding in downtown Houston. I added one more upgrade to my scooter program. I got a 14 foot aluminum U Haul ramp (like the one that slides out the back of a U Haul truck) from a salvage yard. Now I can ride my 100lb scooter right over my front steps and into my front door. This scooter is heavy and not easy to pick up and carry easily so the ramp is a game changer for me. It wheels right into my living room and parks next to the charger for convenience and security. I’m 6’3” 250lbs and I found a used Nami Burn E Viper with a pile of the Gen2 upgrades and a full carbon fiber deck on FBM. I picked it up for $2k cash. Also came with a custom 50ah battery extending the range up to 130 miles. A new e scooter like this would be $4k-$5k plus the $2500 in options and upgrades. I picked it out due to the fact that it is engineered to handle riders up to 330lbs. I had never ridden an e scooter before I bought this monster but I came from motorcycles so I figured I could just “figure it out.” It is awesome and it has a great suspension and brakes. It’s like “Tesla quick” compared to my Yamaha motorcycles. If I was buying a new e scooter, I would absolutely check out the large format e scooters from Nami. Keep in mind this thing weighs 100lbs. Even though I am a big guy, it is not easy to tote this thing around. I found a used U Haul ramp at a scrap yard and installed it on my front porch so I can wheel the e scooter up my front steps instead of trying to carry it. You need a safe place to park it inside where nobody can steal it. If you are trying to commute with something this big, you will need a safe place at home and at work to lock it up. Mine is a gen1 that the original owner bought at full price. Then he added all the Gen2 parts to it and added carbon fiber deck and 50ah battery. It has massive range and it cost a ton new. I got it used for $2k. Happy with the deal I got. I have a Nami Burn E Viper 1 and it is friggin’ awesome. Got mine second hand but it has me sold on the big Nami e scooters. I’m 6’3” 250lbs so I found a used Nami Burn E Viper for $2k on FBM and I ride the hell out of it. It is made for people our size (up to 330lbs). It is built right and has 11” wheels, full suspension that can handle offroad business as well as roads, bike paths, and everything in between. It is a 100lb scooter so you won’t like carrying it anywhere. I actually got a used U Haul ramp at a metal scrapper so I can run it right over my front steps and into my living room. If you’re trying to commute to work or school, this biggest problem is where you can securely store it at work or school for hours at a time. Bike thief or meth head with a battery powered angle grinder only needs a few seconds to erase your lock so use a tracker and look for a storage place at work or school before investing in a scooter you shouldn’t leave locked on a sidewalk in front of your office. That’s a pretty far commute for an e scooter. I hope you live in San Diego or some where it never rains. I ride my e scooter (Nami Burn E Viper) a few times per week and it’s 3.1 miles from my house to my work. That’s not a big deal in nice weather, but if it was 8 miles each way, probably not gonna work for me. Unless there is some kind of magic protected bike lane where you are separated from cars, you’re gonna be in traffic on the road with all the cars. I ride fully in traffic with the cars in downtown Houston and my scooter goes 60mph. I ride it just like I’m riding my Yamaha TW200. You might want to think about an e bike or a motorcycle. Nami Burn E. Check them out. I’m 6’3” 250 and I wanted an e scooter built for someone my size and weight. I hit the jackpot when I found a lightly used and highly optioned Nami Burn E Viper. Made for users up to 330lbs. It is like riding a magic carpet. Hills….even long steep hills, are no match for a Nami Burn E even with my 250lbs on it. I have put 1000 miles on it since I bought it. Check out Nami scooters. I am riding a Nami Burn E Viper. It’s great. I am 6’3” 250lbs. It can carry 330lbs. It is insane. It weighs 100 lbs and legit this thing goes 60mph. But if you want a big guy scooter, they have a few options. I’m 6’3” 250lbs & I wanted something that can handle my size…height and weight. I found a Nami Burn E Viper for sale on FBM and I bought it. It can handle up to 330lbs, and it weighs 100 lbs. Mine has a massive 50ah battery so 130 mile range…and it goes up to 60mph. I don’t usually ride it that fast, but it is so fast and nimble, you can run away from traffic on it in the city. I would look at any of the large scooters from Nami and maybe even look for a used one. I’m 6’3” 250lbs and I ride a Nami Burn E Viper. My e scooter started as a Gen1 but has since received all the upgrades of the Gen2 and a 50ah battery. I’m super happy with it. It’s nothing short of amazing. If money no object, maybe take a peek at the new Nami big e scooters also. I found mine used on FBM and avoided the sticker shock of buying a brand new one. All I can say is this scooter has been the most fun in a long time. I have really pushed this thing and its been great. First cold day where I live and I'm not looking forward to storing it all winter. Its faster than my actual truck I swear. So much fun just to go get a ride outta my system. Ride it to get lunch somewhere or whatever. Imo it isnt the coolest looking scooter. I love the kaabos looks but the nami reliability drew me in. Just wanted to share a Pic. Ride safe.

Nami burn e, Inmotion RS, Teewing Mars XTR, Teverun Fighter Supreme All good choices, now that 72v has landed as the hyper scooter standard, performance is close on everything, it’s more about smaller design innovations. Nami’s are great suspension and well-programmed acceleration. Inmotion RS is a newer/little faster/little smoother design, lots of buzz lately. Teewing has novel suspension w telelever style front. TFS comes from years of Blade scooters and has added the Ultra w a huge 60a battery that’s still only 110lbs.

Get a Nami Klima as far as carrying scooters up stairs most people try to do it the WRONG Way using their arms there is a far better way get a 1inch wide flat nylon strap and tie it to the frame right behind the steering then tie the other end to the rear of the scooter and then place the strap over your head on the opposite shoulder from the scooter if you have the length right when you stand up straight it will lift the scooter 6-7 inches off the ground then you can place the front wheel on the first stair step up and move it to the next stair repeat until you are at the top use a knot that you pull on the end to release I take my Nami burn e a 100+ lb scooter Up two flights of stairs Everyday using this method this uses your skeleton to support the weight and your leg muscles to lift the scooter with .

There never will be any scooters that are without any complaints there are reliable scooters I have two that have 6,000+ miles the other is comming up on 11,000 miles the other is almost 7,000 miles both run like new normal wear and tear parts like brake pads rotors tires handgrips require replacement even the most reliable cars will have some that will have issues as that is part of anything thats made by humans and built by parts built from multiple sources defects happen that’s what warranties are for . If you buy a cheap scooter don’t expect it to last as the parts and materials are cheap and low quality aluminum comes in different grades these scooters are subject to high vibration levels which will destroy low grade aluminum and result in failure of frames cheap scooters motors. Are not built well the controllers are built with cheap parts that won’t last buying a scooter that has good parts availability is important . Nami’s have good parts availability you can contact the owner through facebook Nami electric and he will ship any parts you require they are easy to work on as the wiring is very organized plug and play not the spaghetti wire mess that many scooters have it’s a large community where there are many people who will assist with any questions that may arise or in diagnosing and how to repair any thing that many come up they aren’t cheap I’ve owned many different scooters out of them all I find. That the Nami’s are the best of. The bunch

84 hz battery does nothing for your Argument in Any Ways dualtrons are good scooters but their refusal to switch to sine wave controllers until just recently isn’t a good thing I had a storm and hated it as its power with very Little control over it square wave Controllers are loud they Are jerky they beat you to death jerking around I have over 17,000 miles on one of my Nami’s virtually silent glass smooth starting out acceleration excellent ride quality and it’s super easy to change any component that could fail as everything is plug and play no rats nest of wires as is the case with many scooters .

Dude switch to nami burn and 2 max you won't regret it

A 3k budget leaves you with many options. The Nami Burn-E would probably be my top choice. I have an RS Lite that I scored for under $2300 and it's a beast. I weigh 265 and have gotten it up to 52mph according to the speedo, but im sure it's not totally accurate. Probably actually 45-47mph.

The Klima is beloved, but the Burn-e and GT2 are both much more stable and you will feel more comfortable/safer on those. Worth considering in my opinion. The heavier the scooter, generally the more stable it will feel.

Burn E or Inmotion RS Lite are the best imo. You'd be happy with either.

Love my GT2 - you will almost assuredly be happy with it. Also consider the Inmotion RS Lite or it's brethren and the Nami Burn-e.
