"I commute to work on it every day, granted it’s only 4ish miles round trip. But that said, I only use 20ish percent of the battery round trip, and it’s a lot of stops and starts. ... Did almost 15 miles with 20% of the juice left when I got home."
"You’ll get ~18 miles on the KQi3 Pro"
"has 31 miles"

"So, I already have a Niu KQI3 Pro, and its a nice little commuter scooter, but having the throttle wide open and maxed out, i get maybe 20 mi range at 20 mph. ... for the most part I'm happy with my kqi3, but it lacks in longevity... ... i didn't have intentions on riding longer than a few miles at a time.. but then the weather got nice and i had time off... and here we are lolol"

"Yeah, I live on 3rd floor (stairs only), that’s why weight is a concern. ... KQI 3 Pro probably is the best scooter for its price as much as I have researched, but it is heavier."
i would just get the kqi3 pro if you're getting the 2, it's worth the extra money for battery and speed. also the fat wheels are awesome for turning and traction.
r/ElectricScooters • Value scooter for lite autocross use. ->They've had horrible issues with Customer Service lately. I have 1200 miles on my KQI3 Pro, and the back tire needs to be replaced, which seems like a total pain in the ass. Only issues I've had so far, was the brakes werent aligned properly, back tire, and back fender broke off from vibration. I've rode in a rain and snow storm, as well as low as -5f outside, and it still holds up.
r/ElectricScooters • Is niu a good scooter brand? I only see good reviews from segway and xiaomi but is this scooter worth a try? ->https://preview.redd.it/bbk0rsyewmqf1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=93cb116d6caefc3899f2eaa5d049f7fc5d4390e0 My City’24 is still going strong. Also ride the Niu kqi3 pro, but at around 7,000km, its battery degradation is making me use it less now. City pro’s 21700 cells seem pretty resilient to degradation. Also my Nami Klima Max (odo: 1000km) requires more maintenance than City Pro by quite a margin.
r/ElectricScooters • Why do people on this subreddit hate Apollo? ->I’ve owned 3 scooter upgrading every time. NIU KQI 3 pro , Emove cruiser S , Roadrunner Rs5. All bought off Facebook at minimum 50% off and all less than 300 miles on them. Barely broken in IMO.
r/ElectricScooters • Scooter Advice ->I’ve bought 2 used scooters. I keep eye on marketplace and found my first scooter niu pro 3 barely used then upgraded to an emove cruiser S with about 500 miles on it in excellent condition. I got both of them for about 1/3 of new retail price. Sold the NIU after about a year for 100 less than I paid for it. I’m looking to upgrade again if I see what I want. I’m really liking to Roadrunner Rs5 max currently.
r/ElectricScooters • Would you buy a used electric scooter for work commute? ->Ninebot Gmax1 or niu kqi3pro is your answer. If you can get the G2 or the kqi3max even better. That's all you really ever going to need
r/ElectricScooters • Best electric scooter for daily work commute? ->Heh, for whatever reason, fixing up scooters from fbmp has become a hobby of mine. I'm at 6 scooters right now. 2 basic gotrax ~$30/ea (bad battery connections), some no name scooter $30 (bad cell bank), niu kqi3 pro $free (crashed, bent front fork, bad tires), gotrax flex ultra $150(perfect condition, 40miles on it), zondoo zO01+ $150 (internal break in ignition wire, noisy bearing + broken off split rim screw in hub motor, unbalanced wheels, lighting harness shorted and melted, bad stem bearings)
r/ElectricScooters • I got my first electric scooter a month ago…. I may have developed a problem…… ->I recently purchased the NIU KQI3 Pro at Best Buy for $469 (USD). It's awesome. 20mph, good range, solidly built. No suspension unfortunately but with the larger tires it's still a nice ride without breaking the bank.
r/ElectricScooters • Budget electric scooter ->I just got a Niu Kqi3 pro last week, so, i dunno....
r/ElectricScooters • Do people still buy name brands? ->I recently purchased the NIU Kqi3 pro as I was in the market for an electric scooter and need something nice. I love the scooter so far but I live in a rather hilly area and it’s very hard to avoid hills where I live. The Kqi3 pro can’t necessarily handle hills and has lots of trouble, at least in my experience, going up practically any hills at all. I’m wondering if there is anything I can do to up the performance of the scooter or anything. If not, should I return the scooter and get something else? I’m not sure what other scooter I would get as my budget is only about $500-$600. I’ve seen the Evercross H9 has a pretty high wattage motor and that could be an option. I’ve also seen the Navee S40 on sale for about $400 at target and was considering that an option with it having dual suspension for that price-point. Any recommendations?
r/ElectricScooters • NIU Kqi3 Pro hill climbing ->I’ve never ridden one, but I know they are reliable. It’s an out dated model though. I would go with the KQi3 Pro over the G30P in my opinion. You’ll get ~18 miles on the KQi3 Pro, but if you don’t need it immediately, I’d try and wait it out to see if you can get the Max on a discount. Literally every other month they have some new sale. I will also say that I’ve seen the pro go for $430, so that’s also an extremely enticing deal. Either way NIU makes some great scooters that perform better than you might expect them too.
r/ElectricScooters • Needed Advice for Best Electric Scooter for 230lb Rider – $500 Budget, 15+ Mile Range ->NIU KQi3 Pro. You should be able to get one around $450. Goes 20mph, and has a range about 31 miles. The real world range I got at 180lbs was about 18 miles. You’ll probably get around 20-22 miles since you’re 110lbs.
r/ElectricScooters • Best Scooter for less than $500 ->Check out NIU. They usually have bundle deals that give you more off than the sales are already giving you. You could get them a pair of KQi3 Pro’s which are 20mph scooters with a decently battery so they can ride for as long as they want. I see that the other scooters you have are a little faster. You could also look into the KQi3 Max bundle, it’s a 24mph scooter and that’s probably faster than any 15 year old needs to go.
r/ElectricScooters • Scooter options ->I started with a Niu KQI 3 Pro 3 years ago. Rode it for 1700 miles, before I moved on. Now I'm hitting 60mph but I started at 20mph 2 scooters ago. Was a great little workhorse.
