Man I don’t think I would give it a 10/10 but I’ve been very happy with my Segway GT3 Pro. It’s just a solid, comfortable machine and while I wouldn’t call it portable I can keep it in the back of my outback and pull it out when i need it It also handles being in the grass on the side of roads like a champ and I have no issues hoping curbs and such. I’m very hard on mine and frequently hit speed bumps and hop curbs pretty roughly and haven’t had any broken parts or damaged tires I think the only argument against Segway is that there are cheaper alternatives with more bells and whistles potentially. Personally my must haves would be 1. Full suspension 2. At least 11-inch tires 3. At least a 30 mph top speed to keep up with the traffic on the 25 mph surface roads here 4. Can handle light “off road” on grass and gravel
r/ElectricScooters • What scooter would you give a 10/10? What brand in general would you give a 10/10? ->There isn’t one. So many different scooters to fulfill the needs of the rider. For arguments sake, I’d say the Segway Max G3 and GT3 PRO are some of the most feature packed scooters out there. If I were in the market for an upgrade (mind u I really love my Burn E 2), I would get a GT3 Pro. I think it embodies everything a high powered electric scooter should have, while being stylish to boot. A close 3rd would be the Nami Klima. It’s damn near perfect (to me)
r/ElectricScooters • The Best Electric Scooter at the Moment? ->Brand in general, I’d go with Segway and Nami. With Segway being the de facto champ, but I like Nami because of how easily I can order parts from either Ali express, or Facebook. Tech wise Segway got it. I’d give like 4 scooters a 10/10; Nami Klima (burn e is awesome but I think the Klima encompasses what I think the ideal fast scooter should be, without being as enormous as its big brother) Segway GT3 pro. I mean other than maybe a bigger battery, that scooter has all the bells and whistles for the average person Teverun Fighter supreme ultra (not the 7260r). Fat ass battery in a 11 inch scooter. Doesn’t get better than that. I’m sure if this model has it, but some have their own security system built in (key fob alarm) not sure if the wheels lock up like with the GT3 pro. Segway max G2 (maybe the G3 but time will tell) that scooter is a tank, nuff said. At the end of the day, the more mechanically inclined you are, the less stuff like ratings matter. As long as it has parts available, and a relatively easy to work with system, you’ll be golden.
r/ElectricScooters • What scooter would you give a 10/10? What brand in general would you give a 10/10? ->Burn E 2 Max. Pretty light for what it can do. Teverun Fighter Supreme is you’re looking for max range while still being relatively manageable (11 inch wheels) The GT3 Pro is the Segway I always wanted… just too late because I already have a Burn E 2. Honorable mention to the Apollo Pro and the new Phantom. They have a ip66 rating. That’s really important if you live in a wet area. As you can see I favor unique and performance scoots. But at that price point, a lot of them look the part.
r/ElectricScooters • What is the best Hyper Scooters to get right now that are between three and four grand?? ->I like my main scooter to be large, GT3 all the way. The Pro if you can hold out. Either way all of those scooters are loaded. I just really hope for the gt3 pro that they have a boost mode that stays on even if you go down a mode and is available at all states of charge. Other than that, it’s pretty sweet.
r/ElectricScooters • GT3 vs G3 vs ZT3 - money not an issue, what should I buy? ->If weight isn’t an issue GT3 Pro gets my upvote. I have about 150 miles on mine.
r/ElectricScooters • Thinking of upgrading to a 72V dual motor — any recommendations? ->driven a gt3 pro haven't owned one tho
r/ElectricScooters • Let’s check the scooter rankings and see how high yours is. ->This is not true, this is a newer model and even the gt2 did not have widespread catastrophic issues. Segway outsells random brands 10 fold, by this logic do not buy Iphones because when I google Iphone problems more show up then Infinix brand phones.
r/ElectricScooters • Looking to buy a scooter on sale today, where should I look? And what should I get? ->Gt3 is a higher quality scooter but the Raptor has a larger battery for more range. Range anxiety is a real thing so if you care about range get the Raptor.
r/ElectricScooters • Looking to buy a scooter on sale today, where should I look? And what should I get? ->The Segway has more features and a nicer look, it just depends on what you value more. For me I may lean Raptor for the range even though its more of a "parts bin" scooter.
r/ElectricScooters • Looking to buy a scooter on sale today, where should I look? And what should I get? ->What was the temp when you were riding not the low or the feel like wind chill but the real temperature at that time? Either way sounds like your battery is dead, on Wednesday I went out when it was around 28-30f did 15 miles on my Max G30 and had 25% left. My Max is over 5 years old 5000 miles. The ZT3 has the same battery as the G3 but the frame is more robust for heavier riders someone posted a pic comparing the rear of the frame was at least 2x the thickness on the ZT3. GT3 is not worth it battery is too small for the price, if you want GT3 get the Pro though it cost a bit.
r/ElectricScooters • Battery performance in Winter ->Segway GT 3 Pro. Not eye popping performance as far as raw speed specs but feel and smoothness wins out
r/ElectricScooters • New to Electric Scooters: Need Advice for a $1500 Budget ->I love my GT3 Pro. I feel absolutely safe on it. Brakes stop on a dime. 0-30 is 2.6 seconds if I need it to. Can ride smoothly with one hand, that’s how good the balance is. I’ve rode it in snow, rain, etc. I love it. Already put over 1500 miles on it. https://preview.redd.it/me1kyu0324uf1.jpeg?width=1670&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f76f927b6f20009cb129bf185ca654cfff041737
r/ElectricScooters • What are the MOST reliable E-scooters out there, with budget as less of a concern? ->I want the GT3 Pro, but love my GT2.
r/ElectricScooters • GT3 vs G3 vs ZT3 - money not an issue, what should I buy? ->The GT3 pro is dual motor. Their scooters are actually quite powerful compared to those with the same voltage.
r/ElectricScooters • What scooter would you give a 10/10? What brand in general would you give a 10/10? ->Honestly, the GT3 and its not really close. In fact, I would suggest waiting for the GT3 Pro even that additional cost because you'll likely regret not getting for its performance advantages over the GT3. I really love the designs of the Segway GT scooters, but find their performance somewhat lackluster. I really wanted to pull the trigger on the GT3 but its performance (top speed, acceleration and range) were barely better than my 3 year-old Mercane Jubel and 2x the cost. Sadly ended up going with a Dualtron Victor Luxury but already feeling like I shouldve held out for the GT3 Pro because the GT3 ride quality is amazing.
