"It slows down a bit on steep slopes but has never slowed excessively or bogged down the way the E3 pro did."
"The Max G3 is a total beast on hills if you can budget it. ... I’m 220lbs and ride with a full pack every day. ... The hill totally stops my G30 but the G3 maintains speed all the way up and loses 3mph on the last few yards at the highest steepest part."
"Max G3 absolutely eats a serious slope and keeps on moving pretty quick for my commuting needs."

"As a commuter myself the only advice I will give is to make sure the tires are those tubeless self-sealing type, I ride 10km to work 4 times a week and with my previous tube tires I'd get punctures all the time. The Max G3 has them and the reviews are pretty good so far."
"does everything else."

"Segway releases updates very often to address things (usually 1-2x month). ... there was like 5 times where they boosted the output of the scooter and motor via a firmware update. ... That's almost 50% more stock power than I paid for, which is cool haha. ... Its nice knowing they support their products for so long, and you get to enjoy useful features/tweaks that sometimes really change the scooter."
"Their newest update unlocked a ton of power and fixed some early issues."

"I canceled my preorder for 899 dollars Seagway Max G3 because I found from first owners that even 25 miles is a stretch for this models. ... It’s actually funny, but I had preorder for G3 Max but I canceled it as soon as I’ve learned that I’m unlikely going to get more than 25 miles on it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a pretty decent scooter, but it primarily for people who takes shorter trips."
"The G3's battery is a bit bigger than the G30's but the scooter is so much more powerful that range is drastically reduced."
"want something more reliable and more than 8 to 10 miles"

"G3 acceleration is gonna get cranked way up in an update. The Max G2 accelerates faster than it rn, so yeah that's not how it's supposed to be lol."
"I'm a bigger guy so the acceleration can be a little slow"

I ordered from Apollo 10 days ago and they have taken my funds and ghosted me so I recommend that you stay away from them. I got frustrated and went to BestBuy and purchased the Segway Max G3 and am happy with it so far. (new owner of 4 days) Fast charging and good distance for my weight (lets just say over 200lbs). I average 35 to 40km round trips and have some battery to spare.
r/Winnipeg • Electric Scooter Recommendations? ->G3 max is good as well but too heavy for me. 45kmh is not doable with the f3 pro but personally for me I feel not to safe over 30kmh https://escooter.blog/ninebot-segway/ninbot-f3-tuning-ohne-chip-fuer-die-ganze-f-serie/ https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005009381534604.html?_randl_currency=EUR&_randl_shipto=DE&src=google&pdp_npi=4%40dis!EUR!77.98!47.57!!!!!%40!12000051687609683!ppc!!!&src=google&albch=shopping&acnt=272-267-0231&isdl=y&slnk=&plac=&mtctp=&albbt=Google_7_shopping&aff_platform=google&aff_short_key=UneMJZVf&gclsrc=aw.ds&&albagn=888888&&ds_e_adid=726717691648&ds_e_matchtype=search&ds_e_device=m&ds_e_network=g&ds_e_product_group_id=296303633664&ds_e_product_id=de1005009381534604&ds_e_product_merchant_id=691614764&ds_e_product_country=DE&ds_e_product_language=de&ds_e_product_channel=online&ds_e_product_store_id=&ds_url_v=2&albcp=22054759359&albag=172828878419&isSmbAutoCall=false&needSmbHouyi=false&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22054759359&gbraid=0AAAAAoukdWMxBY_Cbl_J1uIBnbxPrF8xB&gclid=Cj0KCQiA5abIBhCaARIsAM3-zFUNftQWG-LYsrFkBbKV0fiwkHu0huVef27mNiokm1I50g24IpOtiPgaAlqwEALw_wcB You’ll need the f3d edition !
r/ElectricScooters • Please recommend the first e-scooter for European roads ->Go all out. I got my Max g3 and in a week got my nami burn e2 max. I love both of them
r/ElectricScooters • Bought my 1st electric scooter now I wanna move up! ->The G3 can climb hills where the G2 will fail. And many other improvements.
r/NinebotMAX • segway max g2 or g3 is better ->Best bang for your buck for first scooter, high quality build so little maintenance required - check tires regularly, clean it up. Enough power for anything except steepest hills. YouTube how to ride scooter and avoid mistakes and good luck, i went from ninebot max g2 3k km to max g3 and it feels like my old scooter was a toy.
r/ElectricScooters • Segway Ninebot G3 ->Got over 300miles on my ninebot s2 with external battery. Things pretty fast even tho it only goes 20mph with the battery extender. I love it for short trips to the store.
r/ElectricScooters • I analyzed Reddit for the 20 most recommended electric scooters in the past year ->If you have a Segway store near you go test-ride a G3. 6' 215 here. Ideal for me. I think it meets your criteria very well.
r/ElectricScooters • Large Rider Seeking E-Scooter ->Hey Same!! I take the train and then commute the rest on my scooter or sometimes will just ride the 11 miles from home to work. Definitely wanna see what you end up going with. I currently have the Segway max G3 I consider that portable and reliable, granted I’ve only been an owner of it for a little over a month. Im actually considering getting the GT3 Pro from them next, but that won’t be my portable commuter scooter, im going to use that for the days I wanna just ride directly from home to work. Good luck in your search!
r/ElectricScooters • Best Fast Portable Electric Scooter ->The Max G3 is a total beast on hills if you can budget it. I’m 220lbs and ride with a full pack every day. I just saw a thread that someone on eBay is legit selling new G3s for $800. Check it out
r/ElectricScooters • Just bought a Segway Ninebot E2 Pro, turns out that was the wrong choice ->Bout 14 on Sport limited to 20mph Daily commute mostly flat with one steep climb at the end of the return trip. The hill totally stops my G30 but the G3 maintains speed all the way up and loses 3mph on the last few yards at the highest steepest part.
r/ElectricScooters • Just bought a Segway Ninebot E2 Pro, turns out that was the wrong choice ->Ninebot Max G3 is IPX6 and it’s battery is IPX7 Not the highest but quite good. I also have the G30 and after a full year of daily use in all weather it has zero signs of moisture inside.
r/ElectricScooters • What is the most water resistant scooter? ->I’ve read posts from several people who have both that say the G2 has better vibration damping than the G3. I only have the G3 and I think small rapid bumps like choppy roads or cobblestone defeat the shocks. Everything else on it is very nice though.
r/NinebotMAX • segway max g2 or g3 is better ->I'd probably say Segway g3, for the money and quality is probably the best on the market. Granted, it depends on the needs of the commuter and rider because everyone is different. Range, speed, hills, suspension, etc.. will all be factors in your choice
r/ElectricScooters • The Best Electric Scooter at the Moment? ->If you're considering the F3, also consider the g3, at least it was a black friday sales for $999. But with that said, the g30p, while I think the most reliable of them, will travel in pretty much any weather, it does lack in power. Meaning, if I'm going up a hill, even an insanely small hill, it drops quickly to like 9mph. So also bear that in mind.
r/ElectricScooters • First electric scooter: Segway G30P ($600), MAX G2 ($800) or F3 Pro ($900). Please help. ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
