Junkstar 1.0You might want to consider an interface that has some processing built in. Some of the UA Volt interfaces have a vintage preset (crisps things up) and a compressor preset (smooths things out). Plug a decent vocal mic into it and your vocals and streams will sound great without additional processing needed. My favorite all purpose mic right now is the AT BP40.
I’m not crazy about the podmic. It’s a bit thin sounding. SM7B is a workhorse and smooth, easy into take to post production. I don’t think i have an NT1. But, it’s a crap shoot to some degree too. Depends on your delivery skills and your voice. For me, I love the AT BP 40. A lot.
Test an AT BP40. It’s in the same zone as the RE20, but so much better imo.
