Iām quite fond of my Behringer C-1 Medium-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone for vocals. I have a half dozen more expensive mics but I use this for almost everything.
At your stage, it doesn't matter. A dynamic will generally be more durable, but a condenser will generally provide a more detailed response. A condenser will need 48v phantom power from an audio interface or preamp. A dynamic will function as a hammer in case of emergency. My recommendation, and I will be hammered for this, is buy both. Get a Behringer large diaphragm condensor and their SM58 clone. You'll have enough left over from the price of a 58 to buy a cheap stand, and those mics will serve you well forever if you look after them. As you learn your craft and preferences, you'll be well informed when you buy your first premium mic.
