"A good robovac is a life changer. Even a $350 basic S8. It is a great place to start. ... I promise you that you will not be disappointed by a basic S8. It will change your life even if it can't fit under every piece of furniture you own. ... My two S8s just finished vacuuming our entire house in about 46 minutes. ... While my floors were being cleaned, I sat comfortably on our patio in the cool shade with a slight breeze and composed my far too long response to you while sipping a diet soda and relaxing. ... I will have to spend about four minutes maintaining my two S8s. This will be my entire contribution to my home floor cleaning effort for today. Four minutes!"
"I got the Q5 Pro for $139. ... costs $450 less than what I paid for the S6 ... it is the best value option out there imo."
"Like 500$ these robots are currently the steal of the century ... You can get a mova p10 pro ultra (cannot remove its mops), equivalent to the l40/x40 for 500$ after a discount code"

"especially because of the battery life. ... The mouse I had right before this was the steelseries super light one, that was an every other day charge at minimum. Whereas this one is like once a week at most - and I work from home and game all night."
"offers significantly better battery life ... insane battery life"
"Oh, and the battery lasts days even when exercising a lot (weeks without excercise)."

"GPS is way better, on the same track, the Samsung "lost" about 100m after each lap"
"In the end, my running results are much more accurate. ... Over my last three runs, this is what I've achieved compared to the Coros Pace Pro: - 10.51 km and 333 elevation gains (Watch3) - 10.60 km and 344 elevation gains (Coros) - 20.01 km and 630 elevation gains (Watch3) - 20.04 km and 663 elevation gains (Coros) - 21.20 km and 208 elevation gains (Watch3) - 21.09 km and 218 elevation gains (Coros) ... In the end, the GPS track matches my route much better, and the distances are more than accurate. ... So I think the watch is perfectly adequate for amateur running."
"It has been extremely accurate with location and distance tracking. ... It’s been very accurate with paddling"

"had coros pace 2 for 5 years never once an issue"
"I think it is mainly for running, and does running great, and I don't need it for anything else, so it's perfect for me."
"I wanted something with accurate GPS"

"Improved swimming mode allows you to monitor your progress as you swim. ... The app syncs well with Health Connect (Google Fit) and actually syncs my swims as swims, not walking. ... The swim tracking seems accurate and the device is responsive immediately after getting out the pool."
"love it for counting laps"
"The coros was far more accurate in open water."

"wtf no time settings in a watch?"
"google's software features and fit-and-finish is lacking for their watch ... there is no option on a pixel watch to just automatically turn on the screen when a notification comes in to view the notification; you have to manually interact with it by either tapping the screen within a few seconds or lift-to-wake the watch, which is very unreliable ... that actually was a dealbreaker for me"
"it does not show new notifications as they come in without some sort of manual action ... unless you tap the screen or lift your wrist when you get the vibration, you don't get to see anything ... 75% of the time my pw2 wouldn't recognize a wrist-raise gesture, so I'd miss whatever the new notification was"

"I expected autonomous flight modes like in the flip. For me it has been an absolute disappointment. ... Autonomous flight modes in the style of the flip or the Neo would have been a real leap in quality but DJI has not wanted to include them (in my opinion, wrongly) so as not to step on the markets of those other drones. ... I had been waiting for this improvement for a year and now that I see that DJI has completely ignored us, I have to say that I will return the device because it seems to me that it is worth going from 4 to 5 paying the extra cost that it entails. ... They even put the side button with that functionality in mind and then they regretted it. It is something that could be perfectly included in software, but they simply don't want to because they take us for fools and want to make fun of us. ... (Adding this functionality does not mean increasing a single gram of weight, it is simply adding it via software but they have not been able to listen to us)"
"could barely survive a sub-24 race without any navigation. ... It's so much nicer to not have to choose between not gpx files or recharging during the race."
"big advantage to a head unit over the watch is being able to load and follow a route easily. ... I only use the watch for rides where I absolutely know where I’m going."

"I sold my Coros Pace 2 because my ageing eyes had issues with the MIP display on the smaller screen"
"Lily active 2 was hard to read"
"At certain angles in direct sunlight, it can be hard to read due to the etched lens and the grayscale font."
Pace 2 gang since 2021 as well. The only other thing I long for is proper GPS since it's only breadcrumb but otherwise has been perfect since day 1.
Coros Pace 2 or Pace 3. Very satisfied with this watch
I have a coros pace 2 that does the job well, and I stopped using it as much cause I got a pair of Form goggles. It is very nice to have a display I can see while I swim
I use Form Goggles or a Coros pace watch. The Coros track well and can do structured workouts. And having access to my distance, pace, heart rate, and workout time available is really cool
For me I use Training Peaks for collecting all my data. I have a coros pace watch for tracking strength workouts, running, and open water swims. I have a garmin for riding the bike out side. On the bike I have a garmin cadence and speed attachments. And for my peddles I have polar power meters. A Tac X Neo for training on the bike inside. Form goggles for tracking my pool swims. For structuring workouts I use Training peaks for a ATP (year plan). TrainerRoad for bike workouts, Form goggles for swimming workouts. And for the strength and running I enter them into the coros watch app. I’ve gotten the gear over time. If I had to start from scratch I would just use my Coros Pace 3 to track everything and pick up one thing at a time as I got the funds.
I use a coros pace 2. It has been a great addition to my swim training. The swim mode is well developed. It records distance correctly, most of the time. The only issue could be that it does not record drills correctly so I do not use it for that. It is very simple to use and has a great app. It is mostly a running watch, but works really well in the gym and has lots of other training modes. I use it to record training distance and pace.I do not structure workouts in the app to follow them on the watch because I swim in a club with a coach. I do not think swim training needs much more, e.g. swolf and stroke rate, are good to know but I do not see the use during training. Outside the pool the watch behaves very good and does almost everything similar watches do with the best battery life in its category. That was one of the buying arguments for me. The down side of this model is that it will no longer receive firmware updates after 4 years. The Pace 3 and Pace pro improve on the pace 2. I bought my father a pace 3 and plan to buy a pace pro before the end of the year.
same coros pace 2 from 2021. A little less battery and coros stopped firmware updates. But it is a great watch. I use it for swimming, indoor cycling and strength training. It is my daily driver , I sleep with it to track sleep and use the vibrating alarm to wake me up and not my wife. When it dies I plan on getting the pace pro.
I loved my coros pace 2. It was prettier than my garmin instinct 2, which i just got because I cracked the screen of the coros watch. I thought about replacing with the pace 3, but it was the second time in 4 years that the screen got cracked.
Anything in particular you do to look after it? I recently replaced my pace 2 after 4 years as the crown had stopped working, worried I possibly didn't rinse it out properly after open water swimming. Was a bit disappointed to replace it as it was otherwise working fine
I have a coros pace 2 that was $200 when I bought it 4 years ago. Super long battery life, great for triathlons. App has a lot of features that I don't use if you are into tracking everything. Also very lightweight watch. Looks like they have a new version. Bit above your budget, but I use my watch everyday for years so its worth it in my opinion. I don't think you'll find a comparable watch for the price.
Pace 3 user here. I started with the Pace 2 when they 1st came out and went to the 3 after a bike wreck left the 2 smashed. Overall Coros has been amazing. It does everything I need and tons I don't. I didn't want a smart watch, so it works well.
I use a head unit for most rides, but I do have a coros pace 2 that I track commutes with. I like it a lot. Battery life is really good, and I use it for other workouts like gym and running. I did forget my wahoo head unit for a race over the weekend and I was able to use my watch to record the race and keep an eye on my power and HR without issue. And I won one of the races I did with the watch… so +1 for that I guess?
I’ll say, big advantage to a head unit over the watch is being able to load and follow a route easily. I only use the watch for rides where I absolutely know where I’m going.
I have a Coros Pace 2 and really like it for cycling
I’ve been using COROS pace 2 for about 2.5 years Had it replaced on the final few days of warranty due to burnt screen and got a brand new sent over and it’s being going on strong This watch has all that I need and more as a cyclist and runner. It doesn’t have a triathlon mode or Atleast I’m not sure how to set it yet but the battery life on this watch is superb. So far I’ve not experience any software issue, sync issue to Corus app or strava Budget wise, it’s pretty cheap when i first got it tho I’ve not check on the latest ones as this watch just refuses to die
