Fitbit - Versa 2

I have a Fitbit sense I purchased a year ago after my versa 2 screen started having display issues after 4 plus years and the charge was down to 3 days. I love fitbits because of the long battery life and it has enough features for me. I don’t want a watch that has a smaller screen or needs charged daily … been there before and didn’t like it.

Hi I also have a versa 2, but somehow it's not picking up the steps/sleep/workouts from Fitbit to Healthy 365 even though I have already done the authorisation stuff. Do you have the same issue or is it just me?

I adore my Charge 6 and I bought it last year knowing Google is trying to phase them out. (Couldn't resist the sale price!) In the past I've had some of the original Fitbit trackers: I had the original Classic, a Fitbit One, a Luxe, the Versa, and Versa 2. I enjoyed all of them, especially the Versas and for some reason the One. So the Charge 6 to me is like a happy medium: it's a basic tracker in a wristband, not a smart watch. So it doesn't do everything, but it's got a pretty sleek form factor and it does the basics quite well. I use mine the way it was intended: an activity tracker! I can log my walks and runs, connect it like a heart rate monitor to gym equipment and fitness apps, and... That's pretty much it for me. I like hitting 10k steps and seeing the little animation. I like hopping on a spin bike and seeing my heart rate. I like going for a run and seeing what zone I'm in. It's super basic and that's what I enjoy. The only thing I miss is that my Versas had a C25K app that I liked a lot, but I knew when I bought the Charge 6 that it wouldn't have this functionality... Although I do think it's a missed opportunity.

Maybe it’s just the older models, but my Versa 2 I got in May 2020 is still going strong. I just have to charge it a little more often. Never take it off when I swim or shower. It will be a sad day when I finally have to replace it, it’s counted millions and millions of steps for me.

Just passed 5 years with my Versa 2. Still works great, just have to charge it a bit more often.

My 5 year old Versa 2 is still going strong. Have let it die many times, never took it off when I swam (including in the ocean) or showered. Love this thing.

Im still using my Versa2 from 5 years ago lol I put it though hell at work. Screen is a little scraped up but it runs as if its new lol didn't realize the newer devices were less durable

Same here, have been using Fitbit as I didn’t need something too premium like a Garmin/Apple watch. My versa 2 has been with me for 3-4 years and still working well. But yes Fitbit’s app features has been lacking since Google took over, doubt I will stick with it once my versa gives way.

Just upgraded my Versa 2 to the Charge 6. Loving it! (It was at the point I'd have to charge my Versa about every 3 days and my Charge is at 50% now after 6 days).

I got my fitbit versa 2 on ebay for $50. It is certified refurbished. You can also use backmarket. I think if you just go for a higher quality brand and are okay with an older version secondhand, it will last you a while and won’t be too expensive. In the past I bought some cheap ones- $25 on amazon. But I went through 3 of those in a year. It’s been 2 years and i’m using my refurbished $50 fitbit.

I bought a Charge 6 recently because the battery of my Versa 2 had really declined, and I can't help but feel like it's a downgrade despite being a much newer device. Frequent HR glitches during exercise are a bummer, and I don't particularly care for the menu. I had my Versa 2 for years, we'll see how long this Charge 6 lasts.

I’ve had my Versa 2 for 2.5 years. The battery drains faster when I enable GPS tracking, but I only need to charge it about every 3 days or so. Battery has been pretty good so far, but as I’ve experienced with other Fitbit trackers, I’ve had the same outcome with you as all of a sudden dropping the charge or not lasting for more than a day.
