Huawei - WATCH GT 4

Just so ppl know... I also had both gt4 and gt5... There's virtually the same in software and hardware. Ended up selling the 5

I recently switched to suunto and they are great. The race s is more affordable and pretty good. However for a first running watch I believe garmin is a bit too pricey. They also added many paywalls within their app and various features also are behind a paywall. I've also been told that their app isn't very good. My recommendation is the huawei gt4. (I've used it for 2 years). As it's an older model now, it is very cheap. It has very good battery life, good gps, good heart rate monitoring and many smart watch features. Great for running! If you're thinking about getting one, watch the review from the quantified scientist on youtube. I don't think you'll be missing out on much compared to garmin and again, way cheaper

I second this. Have Huawei watch gt4 and it really has everything. Also, it's hr sensor is top notch and they have very nice phone app.

Got the watch gt4 ten days ago. HarmonyOS 5 brought offline maps to this watch and that’s awesome. Still running on my first charge (currently at 9%). Only downside sofar is no appstore on the iPhone health app.

I am using gt4, love the internal (cold) storage for storing music. However I would like to note that the HUAWEI app has limited functionality with ios ecosystem, much smoother with android though. I generally need to switch the pairing to my android phone to transfer music. Also it’s elegant enough

Oh really? Can you give examples at all? If I would feel the same I may just cancel the pre-order and try something else. As much as I would like to stay in the Galaxy ecosystem for fluid integration, having a watch last for days sounds so much better especially for sleep tracking which I've never done with my Apple Watch because I have to charge it every night! I don't want to be in the same situation if it can be helped. I have actually just ordered a Huawei Watch GT 4 from Amazon which is arriving tomorrow in the meantime so I can stop using the Apple Watch. I love the look of it and it's so cheap. I'll see how I get on with it until the OnePlus arrives unless I do cancel it. Maybe just even use the Huawei until July when the new Samsung watches will be announced.

I'll probably wait for the next one tbh. Either get that one or the current when its cheaper. Just installing a temp one at the moment which is the Huawei GT4. Nice watch but will see how it operates.

With the price point, Garmin should have more features than a huawei watch but forget features, even the sensors are only sub par. They are better off with an older Huawei GT4 or GT5 model than a Garmin

How about HUAWEI GT4 or GT5, long lasting battery, very durable, classy looking and tons of features yet affordable

Goods naman, pero Hindi ko lang sure kung may custom running courses yan(pwede mag personalize ng intervals). Much better if Fit 3 or Fit 4 na kunin mo. Other huawei I recommend: Gt3, Gt4, and Gt5.
